Fabulous location in the Marais, metro 3 blocks away, and lots of the major sights in Paris are with a 15-20min walk. We love walking in Paris so this was a huge plus. Very friendly staff who have decent English. The room is on the small side, but high ceilings and big windows make it feel bigger. And we didn’t mind because we were out seeing the sights and hardly in the room anyway. We stayed 7 nights.

The only downside is that there is very little storage in the room…a tiny area to hang a few clothes, no dresser or any drawers and no luggage rack to put a suitcase (we asked for one and they said they only had 1 for the hotel and it was already on use). We made due.

Well maintained and comfy tourist hotel in the heart of Le Marais. Quiet location close to Metro and bus station as well as many shops and restaurants. Small and modern with helpful and friendly staff. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Excellent room service.

Perfect stay

Excellent southern Marais location on small side street near lovely Place Sainte-Catherine pedestrian plaza with several restaurants with outdoor dining. Small pub across from hotel was open but not loud during our stay. Staff was very helpful and desk was staffed 24/7. Bed was comfortable and bath was larger than some in Paris. We found breakfast to be a good value and convenient especially if you want 2 or three coffees to get you started! It was quick and easy and let us get out and about efficiently for our various sightseeing activities especially since we were up early due to jet lag!. There were nearby options for coffee and breakfast if you want a more leisurely pace or cooked options.

Rooms pretty small.

Location was great! Everything you could want just outside the door. Adorable Pub right outside the door.

I strongly dislike carpeting in hotel rooms. There’s no way to sanitize it so everything you walk in outside is hiding in the rug.

Beautiful hotel in a fab location. The closest metro station (Saint Paul) is a 5 minute walk, although we didn't use it. We walked to all all main tourist attractions. The Eiffel Tower was an hour and 10 minutes away by foot. Notre Dame was a 20 minute walk. Reception staff were fantastic and really helpful. One staff member booked our taxi to the airport when we were unable to avail of the metro and RER due to routine maintenance. Reception staff spoke English really well and were so friendly and welcoming. The housekeeping was a very high standard. Fantastic room facilities. We really appreciated the free mini bar, which they even topped up daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful was average. I felt it was quite expensive for what it was - €14 each every morning. That plus the daily tourist tax made for a surprising outstanding room bill at checkout.

Modern, quaint boutique hotel in a busy but central location. Staff were very helpful and breakfast good.

Off Rue Rivoli so very busy and noisyfrom time to time. Room small and carpet needs to be replaced as the shaggy pile, mustard colour looked stained and unwelcoming. Street lights at night was shining into my room so had to wear a visor. If you open the window for fresh air, the noise can be oppressive.

Hotel Caron is a lovely small hotel located in a fabulous area. The rooms are small, but that is the norm in Paris. Our room was clean and comfortable. It contained everything we needed. Although it is located in a busy area it is very quiet inside. The air conditioning and wifi both worked well. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to both bus stops and a metro line. The bus stop is a one minute walk while the metro is a 5 minute walk away. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel their are countless restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, etc. All staff we dealt with were most friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will stay here again when we return to Paris.

Loved everything about this property.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Hotel Caron. We have, on both occasions, found the location easy to reach and ideally suited for visiting the sites of Paris. We have stayed under two different proprietors and staff and have found them all to be helpful and knowledgeable. We would like to especially mention Sully, a young man in reception who was outstanding with his genuine warmth, charming personality and readiness to go above and beyond in assisting us with our every need.

We loved our stay at Hôtel Caron. The position is brilliant located in the Marais which we believe is the best arrondissement in Paris. It is central to everything and after a hectic day in Paris visiting sites, museums, shopping and non stop walking, coming home to Le Marais is like coming home to a charming village right in the middle of the madness.

The room is very small and there is almost nowhere to put your clothes. It’s fine but I’ve been to Paris many times and this was a particularly small room. It was also very expensive for the size of the room.

Excellent staff at reception. Fluent in English. The location was very good - close to Le Marais district and St-Paul metro station. Some lovely traditional restaurants in the square behind the hotel. Short walk to Place de la Bastille with wonderful modern opera house and brilliant food market on Sunday morning.

For breakfast, it would have been nice to have muesli as the options for cereal were a little limited.
