Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Beautifully decorated public and landing areas boasting some lovely artwork and furniture. It was spotless and shiny from the minute you walk through the door.

Was a little disappointed that the small car park was full but the receptionist explained two of the spaces were used by staff and would be free within the hour. But to be honest I left my car parked on the road as I felt it would be safe enough. The window in my room was in full view of my car so i wasn’t worried. My room was situated on the top floor which was a bit of a struggle with my dodgy knees so i will request a room on the first floor in future. Final quibble, I feel a seat/chair at the dressing table would have been useful but it wouldn’t stop me revisiting this hotel.

My second stay here, it's just a lovely hotel to base yourself in. It's in a quiet location. Andrew,Tanya, Tom, Unique ect are just wonderful, welcoming staff. The locals are just as welcoming.Cant imagine staying anywhere else on visits to London from now on.I love the Hadley.

Menu, could be more extensive I would have enjoyed a dinner rather than a burger., It is a boutique hotel and doesn't get the clientele to make that sought of menu feasible, understandably. There, are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by and within walking distance. It may be a little hilly for the less mobile, however.

We booked for one night as needed to stay near the hospital, and so pleased we did it was perfect, the breakfast was fantastic too, cooked to order not the typical buffet breakfasts most hotels do. We were so impressed we book for another night, however due to not being able to leave the hospital that night we didn’t arrive, when we phoned in the morning to let the staff know, they said we could still turn up for breakfast, but we were still unable to leave. Would highly recommend a stay here

Nothing, everything was perfect for us, staff so friendly and helpful, if anyone needs a hotel near the hospital, this is the place

Tanya, the hotel manager / maitre d / bartender / waitress/ all things front of house...gave such an exceptional service. No request was too much. Her natural professionalalism and attention to detail shines through in every interaction with all customers and colleagues. She made us feel more than welcome, she made us feel like guests at her home, but at the same time always respecting the invisible boundary of client / customer and remaining 'at our service.' The skills she has are a huge credit to The Hadley, upping it's star rating considerably, because it is always the service that makes the stay...no hotel property alone can achieve this. However, the property was clean, confortable mattress, feather duvet and pillows (or at least feather style), great shower, free on street parking all around, nice design throughout, lovely, freshly cooked to order breakfast, Karen's Diner downstairs was so much fun!! There is even a beauty salón in the basement. Overall The Hadley is a great little hidden gem, boutique hotel tucked away on the edge of North London / Hertfordshire border...who knew! Thanks again Tanya.

Well I should have booked in at the Beauty Rehab earlier as they close around 5.30pm and I went down too late so I didn't get to have my pamper session, but that was nothing to do with The Hadley Hotel. I was just unable to get through to them for 3 days so I guess best to book online.

Very quiet. Bright room, a bit on the small side. Nice clean bathroom with good working shower. Very comfortable bed! Helpful staff. Within walking distance of lovely woodlands.

A desk and chair would have been helpful. I had to work with my laptop sitting on bed. The menu for dinner was rather restricted. I could not get what I had ordered because of delivery problems. Only one course available for breakfast apart from toast. What was on offer was good. I was not asked if I wanted another cup of coffee.

A wonderful stay at The Hadley. Every single staff member was extremely welcoming, genuinely kind and brilliant at their job. As someone who works in the hotel/hospitality industry I was seriously impressed. Whoever is in charge should be extremely proud of their team and highly credited for hiring such great people. Breakfast was delicious, with great quality coffee. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Thank you for a great stay. Look forward to returning.

This hotel is in the perfect position, just a very short drive from the nearest Motorway, but it is down some extremely narrow roads which are poorly lit, but it's only a short drive to the nearest local underground station. It's close to Barnet and New Barnet in a quiet back street. Its staff are friendly and extremely helpful. With rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday. We had a deluxe room, and it was quite large, more than big enough for the two of us. With a comfy large bed, an iron, a dyson hair drier, and a flat screen TV with Netflix, BBC iplayer, and all the other streaming services included. The food (we only ate breakfasts) was perfect, and the capachinos I drank there were the best I've ever had made for me. The bar is reasonably priced for a hotel, and we didn't use Karens, but from what we saw i would use it the next time we stayed at this hotel as it looked great fun with a brilliant atmosphere. I'd highly recommend staying here. You'd enjoy the warm welcome I'm sure you'd receive.

Our room was on the top third floor, which was okay for my partner and myself, but I could imagine anybody with mobility issues would struggle due to there being no lift. An offer to give guests a hand with their luggage wouldn't go a miss. The room we stayed in could've done with a bit of tlc, too. A bit of a crack on the room ceiling, grouting on the bathroom floor, needed attention, plus a new carpet in the room is needed too. These are just extremely minor niggles and didn't in anyway spoil or detract from our enjoyable short stay. We will be going back to this lovely hotel.

The Hotel was really nice, staff were very helpful and lovely. Breakfast had a lovely menu, not what I expected, they were happy to adapt to accommodate for my young daughter, food was really nice and presented well. It was perfect location for me, visiting my friend for a very special occasion. The car park wasn't very big and I was conscious of being blocked in so I parked on the road right outside the hotel which was perfectly fine. Always spaces. I did use the car park late Saturday night and Sunday as it was empty! The room and bathroom was nice. Nice to be able to open the window as the air con only went down to 18 and it was a warm weekend. Hair dyer was excellent. I didn't get to use the iron or the tea & coffee facilities. Will defiantly return when I'm next visiting my friend.

Pillows were very big a not overly soft, my daughter and I are quite petite so we found these to be uncomfortable to sleep on but this was the only issue we had.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Hadley Hotel visiting my sister in North Barnet. We were completely surprised by the excellent service provided by one of the owners, Andrew and the quality of the breakfast provided. The room was outstanding - brand new with great amenities, clean and quiet. The hot towels and a fog free mirror were an added bonus. And it has a great pub! The hotel was well located about a 10 minute bus ride to the North Barnet metro station. We will be back!

Nothing.
