The condo unit is reasonable size but with an unusual layout. You enter the unit at the upper floor with a small entry hall that doubles a laundry area and leads to one of the two bedrooms (twin beds). You have to use the stairs to get down to the main living area and master bedroom (king bed). The kitchen was reasonably well appointed (dated, but not uncomfortably so) and our unit had a reasonable supply of cookware, dishes and glassware. The shuttle service is EXCELLENT, which is important as there is not much in walking distance and the free town bus is not very frequent to the lodge. They were running 2 shuttles even mid-week so there was rarely a wait, and you could see where the shuttle was with an app. If none were en-route, you could call the front desk and they would be there in a few minutes. We used the hot tub/pool facilities which were clean, suitably sized so we weren't packed in, and had good hours. The parking is covered which is a big plus on a snowy day. The ski locker was just big enough for 4 sets of skis and poles, but worked fine and is convenient to the shuttle loading area.

The 2-level floor plan is quirky and could be a problem if you have some mobility issues. The parking is pricey, but not compared to using the town garage and fair enough since it is covered. The kitchen consumables (sponges, dishwasher pods, paper towels, laundry pods, etc) were skimpy - they want you to run the dishwasher and give you a single pod to do so!

Free Shuttle is very convenient. They even have an app showing location of shuttle in real time. Need to run to the supermarket...just let them know...they will take you and pick you up when you are ready. Vail bus also takes you to the Simba Run Condominiums rear door! So you always have an option, even after hours. Great pool and two jacuzzis, one indoor and one outdoor. Staff was awesome! You can easily see this is a very well administered facility.

It was a nice environment. Like the hot tubs and the facilities. The shuttle bus service to the ski slopes and around town including shopping is a big plus. Would definitely recommend

There was a lady at the front desk that told us we had to give a $600 payment for parking which was totally wrong. Luckily after requesting the speak to management and fighting it she realized that she was wrong. Very unacceptable that this could even happen to a guest that is checking in.

Our room was so cozy and well equipped! The shuttle was very convenient getting to / from the villages and lifts. The outdoor hot tub, steam room, sauna, indoor pool and hot tub were a treat!

The temperature in our bedroom was difficult to regulate the first night but we were able to balance some outside air along with the baseboard heat the remainder of our stay.

Location to Vail Village was perfect. We ended up with an outside facing room so that was great for the view. The free van was great getting us back and forth from the villages was convenient.

The beds weren't comfortable to sleep in. I get that the condo has owners but it was really weird having there pictures all over the place. It felt like we were intruding on the space.

The private shuttle service makes our ski trip much easier. We enjoyed hot tub after a tired day off the slopes.

The supplies like shampoo, conditioner, even dishwasher detergent, in the apartment are limited.

We loved our stay at Simba Run. We had 6 people in our group and were very comfortable in our condo. it had two floors where the ground floor had a master bedroom and laundry and the upper floor had another bedroom with two full/queen beds and a full bathroom. The living room was cozy with a spectacular view of the mountains. Parking in the guest spots in the garage was never an issue. We were only 5 minutes away from Vail and we had a rental so we didn’t use their free shuttle. The pool and spa was a nice touch after a long day of boarding. Our condo was very quiet and we never really saw or heard anyone. Overall, great experience for the price ($1850 4nights + parking) and I would definitely come back.

Beautiful condo with great mountain views. Kitchen well stocked, lots of closet space, and reliable shuttle service to ski area. Very comfortable king beds/2 bedrooms were perfect for our group. We will definitely come back!

Unit had regular wood burning fireplace. Would have preferred a gas fireplace.

This is a mid 70's early 80's condo that brought back good memories of my early days of skiing. The kitchen was nicely equipped, especially the stove. The staff was friendly. The house shuttle was efficient and the town bus stop was directly at the rear of the property. It was well insulated and the electric baseboard heat was efficient.

The plumbing needs work. Trash is not collected and the walk to the dumpster is long. The television instructions were not especially clear. The laminated list of channels only showed numbers, but not the networks. Some furniture fabrics are showing age. I left a list of tasks that the management/owner should consider. Having owned a rental condo, I appreciated getting feedback before a problem became serious.

Shuttle was super easy to get to the lift and back home. Friendly staff, hot tub outside was nice after a day of skiing!

Owners didn't leave any cooking oil, butter and only 1 laundry detergent. So we had to buy all of that, but the place was very clean, nice and convenient. I would definitely stay here again!
