We liked the room a lot - we used the fireplace a ton and loved that the kitchen was fully stocked. Any larger kitchen items like dutch ovens or roasting pans were available if requested. With two young kids who were tired after full days of skiing, we were happy to come back to a movie night and a homemade dinner. We also were thrilled to find that the reading room next to the front desk had lots of puzzles, books, toys and games to borrow. They even had a few of our kids' favorites, which we used a lot on our day off of skiing. The location worked well and had a great view, plus the resort's shuttle took us right to the ski school/gondola in the morning and did free trips to the grocery stores in the evening. It's also easy to pick up the free local bus - we took my daughter to a diner for brunch on her birthday and it was a breeze getting around without a car.

The only thing that could have been a little better was a different bed configuration. We knew when booking that someone in the group was going to sleep on the sofa bed. We had a room with a queen and a single, plus the pull-out sofa. We let the kids have the room with the beds and we took the sofa. It was very comfortable and we could wind down with the fire each evening, so we really didn't mind, it just made for some set up in the evenings and recombobulation in the morning.

The location and staff were amazing. The hotel provides a private shuttle that could take you to the most important spots and you connect with the municipal transit system which is free!. The staff especially Juan, George and Terry were amazing and helpful during our stay!

The hotel decor and ambience are a little outdated but its understandable, just be aware that rooms and the hotel in general might have a dated look, but the facilities are great and work perfectly, even a fireplace inside the room!.

The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. There were very good amenities, including the pool, hot tub and sauna, and for quick meals, there was a pizza shop in the building. Overall, the building is a little dated but is well maintained and help is always available if you need it. For skiers, there are ski lockers downstairs (no having to take gear up elevators). The resort had its own shuttle service but was also supplemented by the local village bus which gave choices when getting around. Overall, we were very happy with our stay - a good choice for a Vail stay, well priced in an otherwise very expensive town.

There was little within walking distance from the resort, such as shops, restaurants, access to ski slopes, etc. but we did realise (and accept that) when booking. We had a few hiccups with the shuttle service, generally there was very good flexibility re pickup/drop off times (really appreciated) to driver forgetting pickup from the shops on one occasion and driving off on us before we had the chance to take the skis out of the rear ski racks. However, the service was generally fine, the drivers friendly and helpful and we did also appreciate the wine choice when you got on board after a day of skiing or coming back from the Village. Small thing but would be helpful to have separate trash containers in the room for general waste and recycling.

Room was very clean, the room has everything you need, including shampoo and conditioner. The pool has towels and a very comfortable changing room and shower. check-in was easy check-in in the complex after 7-30 pm takes place by phone without the presence of staff. There is a charger for electric cars in the parking lot, free of charge. parking costs $15 per night.

The air conditioning in the room did not work, there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms and a large floor fan in the living room. This was enough, but air conditioning would have been better. You need to understand that the hotel is located near the highway and the noise can be heard when the windows are open.

The apartment had everything we needed and the location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the shuttle bus run by the resort was a great bonus which just made life so much easier. They even did a run to the local grocery store which is great if you don't have a car. There is also the free local bus right by the complex. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day on the slopes. An affordable option in a town with lots of unaffordable accomodation. Would definitely recommend.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We liked the cleanliness of the property. The common area was very clean and fresh. The apartment was also very clean and had everything we needed. I had to run to the reception to ask for an iron and an ironing board and they had it in my room within minutes.

The lift was not working on the first night when we arrived after 10 pm. There was no one around to take care of the issue. However the next morning it was running again. We were told that it had to rest and restarted

Opted for a one bedroom unit which was quite spacious. Very warm - had a gas fireplace and central heating. Fronted the highway but door & window appeared triple glazed so no traffic noise whatsoever. Comfy chairs. Very well stocked with kitchen utensils and such (even an ice machine in the freezer!). There is a leaflet on the coffee table with extra kitchen items you could borrow at no extra cost. (I got a kettle as there was only a coffee machine.) There is a supermarket run at 5.45pm each day but it needs to be requested. Didn't use it but thought I would mention. Bus stop (Vail Run) to ski field just outside which was very convenient. Overall a great, comfortable stay. They valued your privacy and didn't bother you at all.

Not exactly related to Vail Run Resort but there is a pizza place on the bottom floor of the building. Beware they overcharge! (i.e. build in the cost of the tip) so don't bother putting anything in the tip jar. Sorry but we're Australian and like to have the option, but it is America so I guess you have to go with the flow. BTW the pizzas/salads etc are quite good. Enjoy!

Our room was HUGE: it had all the facilities needed, including a full kitchen, 70' Screen TV on the Living Room and also in the bedrooms, comfortable beds in bathrooms with hot shower. Great set up also, with 2 floors overlooking the slopes. The Jacuzzi is a great place to relax and the heated outdoor pool also great to relax and spend time at. All the Staff is awesome, always available and cordial, from the Shuttle Drivers (Juan & Jeremy) to the Front Desk Staff, great people!

Better Blackouts in the Apartment: there is a higher window that would be good to have a black out too, above the Fireplace. If possible also add more options to block the noisy from the I-70: as the property is closer to it, you can hear some of the road traffice noise.

Comfortable, had full kitchen with everything we’d need. Shower was updated and has very nice shower head.

The blind on the bedroom window that faced the interior hallway was placed on the outside of window frame so there was 1.5/2 inches space where light can come in or someone could potentially look in. We put up a blanket to block the opening. A blind installed in this location on a window is basically useless. I would reinstall in the correct location inside the window frame. Parking was odd not having an entrance to the building from the lot and having to walk up the ramp.

Great value, friendly staff, convenient location, kitchen very well stocked, room very well stocked with towels and paper goods. Plenty of room to sleep! Loved the layout and separation between parties.

Lobby was meh; while there was good separation between people, there is a lack of walls and real privacy. The value makes up for that and everyone loved the layout.
