The property was absolutely beautiful. Our room was beautiful overlooking the creek with the balcony… Our toddler loved it.

Unfortunately, the staff was very unfriendly during our visit. The first night we came, there was a beautiful fire roaring and we loved it. The next day my husband requested that they started a fire again and they said they didn’t have enough wood, even though there was wood stacked up That was visible for us to see. They ended up bickering with my husband back-and-forth and really set a bad tone for him.

We loved every thing: room was beautiful, the bathroom was clean and nice, loved the shampoo and conditioner and the little extras that made the stay so nice!

The lighting in the room could have been better. It was very dark without a brighter lighting option. Could not read well in the evening. Also, the room above us must have been rented to a herd of elephants. The noise was quite disturbing at 1:30 AM in the morning.

Breakfast was decent (eggs, oatmeal, and more), the room was nice, bed comfortable.

Breakfast was not exactly 'free' bc there was a $23 "resort fee" (called "tourist fee" or something like that). I'm not sure what the value of that was unless it paid for the breakfast. Although there were nice soaps in the room...maybe that's why?! No other hotels in Bishop appear to have a 'tourist fee'. Annoying.

The grounds were lovely, and attention to details of our room and hotel went way beyond expectations. Even two separate sinks in the bathroom. Beautiful fireplace pits and the most comfortable seating outside. Unfortunately, the pool and spa were packed so we didn't get a chance to use them.

We were charged the resort/tourism fee up front with booking.com We were charged a second time by the hotel. I have spent an hour and a half trying to get them to refund the 19.95 back. I have both emails and bank statements showing the charges. I spent time taking screenshots to show proof of the double charges. Right now I am so frustrated because to me it's the principle. I would never return again just to not have to deal with the hassle. Booking.com called the hotel 30 minutes ago because they agree I was charged twice but no answer.

The staff (especially Claudia) were pleasant and very helpful. The room was quite nice, and surprise: the use of the laundry was free(OK...we had to pay $1 for a laundry soap pod)! Our room was on the second floor of the "front" of the hotel, which faced US 395 - the major N-S highway through eastern California. We thought we were in for lots of noise from the abundant Semis passing by, but the patio door glass and the walls cut out almost all exterior noise which was a very pleasant surprise. Outside, the grounds are quite nice - especially near the pool.

When we got there, we found that there weren't a lot of toiletries in the bathroom, but that was taken care of by the staff when we asked. Food in the hotel's restaurant wasn't great and neither was the service, but that happens sometimes. There are fairly good restaurants near the hotel, but walking to or from them during the Semi rush hours can be a nuisance.

It was really nice and clean staff was very friendly is a great place to relax

The breakfast needs more work they didn’t have enough plates ,forks, they run out of everything they need to hire more people for the kitchen

I was way in the back with a view of the parking lot. The room was pleasant but dark. I’m 82 so I seem to need more light than when I was younger. Hallways seemed dark.

Breakfast was not good. There are better choices of eggs, potatoes and sausage at Costco or any good super market.

the place was immaculate. decor was wonderful. the bed was very comfortable.

am check out: my husband pulled up in front to pack the car at 7 am and got yelled at by am desk person. 2nd desk clerk that checked us out showed irritation for having to print a receipt. isn’t that his job? breakfast: cold cold cold food. we ate 25 minutes after food was put out in chafing dishes. cranberry juice was pure sugar. could not even drink it.

warm spa cold pool loved it the outside fire pits going on the walk over the creek bridges to the pool - just wonderful place have gone back since my first visit great person at the front desk remembered me so nice

all was as expected. nothing to change. will come again

Super clean, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, excellent breakfast, does not feel commodified but the effort that went into this place was unmistakable. Honestly we might be back to Bishop just to stay here.
