Staff uniformly helpful. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Excellent housekeeping. Skiroom so close to lift. Excellent massage in spa.

Food disappointing and not of the quality we expected. Eg ( half board dinner) lukewarm soup, very stodgy risotto, burnt toast served with cheese entrée. Odd consistency of scrambled eggs on breakfast buffet ? powder not fresh eggs. Slightly better restaurant experience with dinner à la carte but still not of a standard we would have expected from a michelin listed restaurant. Wine prices atmospheric. . Essentially nothing under 60 euros per bottle. Huge regrets we booked half board.

Great hotel in an excellent location with really easy access to the slopes. A ski shop in the hotel where you can rent all you need and leave your equipment overnight. The ski lift is literally outside the ski shop and takes you to slopes. Food in the restaurant was great and something different available every night. Excellent spa with swimming pool. Great cocktails at the bar, especially "Le P'tit Normand". However, the key stars at the property are the staff, who were simply superb. Always helpful, going above and beyond. A great team that made the stay extra special.

These were very minor and do not take away form how great the place is, but a more powerful shower would have been nice and we had some difficulty getting through to room service to place an order.

Exceptional hotel with beautifully comfortable rooms with everything we needed at hand. The rooms are so quiet and the beds luxurious, we slept so well. Excellent Maître d' and waiting staff at breakfast and dinner. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was delicious every night. The spa facilities are perfect after a long day of skiing

Our room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean, and we had a nice view from our balcony. Breakfast was really nice.

Bizarrely we asked twice in our stay to eat in the restaurant with our friends in the evening and were told that they were completely booked out and that it was not possible but our friends then showed us photos of how empty it was when they were eating. We couldn't understand.

Absolutely 5stars, the best hotel we’ve stayed at in a ski resort by far, we were all looked after right from the moment we arrived to right till the end, a special mention to Brice who ran the breakfast service what a gentleman and always a smile, set up for the day and also Nash at dinner service, house keeping twice per day, the spa was clean had everything we needed after a long day on the slopes, the ski shop who took care of our boots and ski’s thank you to all the the ladies in the spa thank you to all the team at Daria in Alpe Huez

The location, spa, bedrooms and staff all deserve the 5 star rating. Breakfast also excellent with various hot and cold options and egg preference made to order.

We were a group of 8 and decided to book half board, unfortunately this was a mistake, we were very disappointed with choice and frankly the food was well below par. Also alcohol and non alcohol drinks were way too expensive even for a 5 star hotel. No where else we visited on the resort charged such over inflated prices.

We liked everything. The room is perfectly arranged. I loved the walk-in wardrobe the most. It is essential for a ski trip. Special kudos to the chef. All the meals were perfect. The dessert buffet was fantastic. The personnel was attentive and accommodating. It has been a pleasure to spend our vacation at Daria-I Nor.

The ski boots were not dry in the morning.

Great hotel, pool, spa, spacious bedrooms - plenty of storage. Great boot room & access straight to gondola. Lovely treatments at the spa & spa staff were excellent. The head waiter at breakfast was so welcoming.

Gym was tiny - I was unable to ski this holiday so planned to use the gym/pool/spa. The pool however was great.

We have spent a fantastic week at Daria-I Nor. Great customer service, kind and polite staff, very helpful and proactive. Hotel manager and restaurant manager were working alongside with the staff, engaging with customers which was a very good experience. Nice, clean and big rooms with walk in wardrobe, great food in the restaurant. we had half board and every day we have a new menu. Swimming pool is quite big, nice jaquzziI, sound and steam room. I have celebrated my birthday and the staff has organised dinner for 23 people at the highest level. Door-to-door skiing, from the hotel you can get straight into there ski lift. Ski shop will take care of your skis every day, just leave them outside and I’ll start them, and then in the morning they will take him out for you as well. We will definitely come back again and I can recommend this to everyone who want.

Gum was very small, and I understand why, no much demand from people who are skiing or hiking all day long..
