Hotel Plante is the perfect place to stay in Gaspé! The room was large with a comfy bed, it overlooked the river, and the hotel was close to just about everything. We could walk to so many different places, and we did! It was also handy having a laundry room to use, as this was right in the middle of our trip, so it was nice to be able to wash our clothing. (The cost of each load was reasonable, too.)

The only thing I didn't like was the shower. It was huge, which was awesome, but there was literally no where to put any of our personal toiletries. We had to place everything on the floor, which isn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have a shelf or two in which to place our own things.

The room was beautifully clean, quiet for sleeping and was a great base for our 3 day stay! Whilst we didn’t end up using the pool & spa it was also very well maintained. I was also very grateful for the laundry as we had been travelling for a while & needed to wash & dry clothes. Location was central to our needs for the restaurants, Pâtisserie and supermarket. Staff were attentive and spoke to us in English as we speak little French! Fresh towels & room cleaning was done when asked for.

Only a minor thing - I had booked a room on the 3rd floor but found the 3rd floor was actually the lowest floor! There were no lifts so we had to carry suitcases down stairs! Probably my fault for not checking. It also meant we didn’t get as good a view.

Toured the Gaspe Peninsula and this was our favorite hotel/motel. The decor and set-up of our room was clearly well thought out, making the stay seem of high quality despite the reasonable cost. Our balcony was large and private, with the sun rising in front of us. The pool area was beautiful. Everything was spotless and clean. The location was perfect to walk downtown to shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend!!

Nothing, we loved our stay!

Apart from the fact that their staff are friendly, they are honest and truly look after the value of their clients. I totally forgot my jewelleries when I and my family checked out, and got to realized 8 hours later. Called right away the hotel and they searched for my jewelleries with all their might. I thought I will never get it back but they reached me again confirming that their staff found it in the laundry. How wonderful to have stayed in such a SAFE hotel with kind and honest staff.

The room was spacious, clean with hardwood floors. It has a good location overseeing the bay. It is also close to restaurants and shopping. It has fitness room and also an indoor swimming pool, though I didn't use that.

The nightly rate is higher in comparison to similar properties.

Location was good had great views. Nearby good restaurants and an amazing bakery. Room was clean and tidy, pool area, laundry room everything was clean and accessible. Staff was courteous. Very close to birthplace of Canada.

Room was small for 4 other two had to adjust on a sofa cum bed. TV had no Internet connection. Just few things to make it more comfortable. Overall good experience.

the facility is very nice and clean, with a good view of the town and the bay, and walking distance to grocery and restaurants. The room has plenty of space, the indoor pool and hot tub are fantanstic. Bonus gives to the free EV charging stations - there are two!

Location is within the city center, spacious room, very clean.

Everything could have been perfect only for one thing but it's no big deal. Please thoroughly check the tray where the glasses sit on,kind of unwashed because of visible stains.

Attractive property, very conveniently located, walking distance to Main Street and the water front, quiet nevertheless. Our room - 2 beds with kitchenette- was very clean and comfortable. I would consider booking to this hotel again.

We booked before the summer season rush and this is a big property. I am not sure how quiet the rooms might be when the hotel is fully booked.

Room was very spacious and clean. Nice view. They have a outdoor area with deck chairs and table that overlook the bay, wish we had time to enjoy it on our short stay.

Wifi password was invalid after one day, didn’t bother to ask for another one. Toilet when flushed and a/c were a little noisy but based on the time you spend in room not a huge issue. They don’t clean room/ make up the bed during your stay due to covid. Not an issue for me but could be for some.
