Hidden, quiet, relaxing property, with top service, high quality amenities, fantastic food, service and relaxing massages. Highly recommend, perfect place in a very busy Bukit peninsula (where you can find a construction basically everywhere)

Just a recommendation - If you are in a search for a more advanced yoga, I recommend to find a yoga studio (like The Space, or Alchemy). “Resort” yoga is great for people with zero experience :)

I arrived for my stay injured and can honestly say that the staff in this hotel are some of the kindest people I've ever met. The managers, Jenny and Richard were constantly checking in on me, ringing for the doctor to come and generally making sure that I was comfortable and reassured. The hotel absolutely blew us away. The gardens, pool area, food and drink, rooms.....everything exceeded every expectation we had. The spa gave us the best massage I've ever had and was so cheap and my wife joined the yoga class, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Im always a bit sceptical of 10 star reviews on here so have had to actually think hard to find any negative one could possibly conceive of. Literally, the only thing I can think of is that the road to get from the main road to the hotel is dark, but in Uluwatu all the hotels are a little bit off the main road (or cost literary a third of my annual wage for five nights....no joke!). I can guarantee that anyone who books will have a memorable experience for all the right reasons.

The road outside the place would be dark to walk at night, but nobody walks in uluwatu as transport is needed to get around the main sites anyway. Also, you can take their free shuttle which goes to the main spots a couple of times every day and picks up again. Disabled guests will struggle in bali generally (speaking from experience) but our room had a total of 3 steps to reception/lobby/swimming area so that made it much more manageable. You'll read lots of comments on here about damp smelling bathrooms and dripping aircon units. I'd say in a country with 85% humidity, that's very normal and neither are a huge issue in this hotel. V slight drip and noticed a feint damp smell on the most humid day we were there but it was gone by the next day.

I loved the staff they were all so friendly and would call my by my first name which was a beautifully welcoming sentiment. Jenny and Rich are outstanding owners and very personable. I loved the food, it was delicious and safely prepared. Unlimited access to fresh towels, mineral safe drinking water and the free shuttle was so convenient. The pools were awesome and when Rich saw I was swimming at night he added more wood to the fire which sits directly by the pool where beanbag chairs are waiting. I was lucky enough to play guitar by the fire, which is one of my favourite things to do. I loved how clean and comfortable the rooms were. I upgraded to the VIP room after a few nights and really enjoyed the giant jacuzzi. The yoga was amazing. I really enjoyed all the different styles of each teacher. Thanks so much for a great stay.

I had one instance where the air conditioning was making a strange noise but seemed to fix itself when I turned it down. Also had a wet bathroom floor that the staff immediately dealt with. Would like to see a few more Asian options on the menu if possible, and options to add to your meal (example tried adding a poach egg to my avo smash and they said they couldn’t, but I guess it depends how busy you guys are etc.) the water in the public toilet comes out a little fast. Other than that great stay thanks again.

The hotel is beautiful, with a great garden and pool. The room was OK. Good restaurant with many options of food (loved the burger, not so much the mie goreng as it seemed reheated). The complementary transfer service was useful, but its frequency was very limited.

The toilet in our room was definitely not at the same level as the room / hotel. It was super small, ugly, unconfortable, and had an awful sewage smell. The restaurant at the hotel was pretty expensive, with a tax and service rate of 21%! which is crazy for Bali! Didn't like the breakfast service, as you could only choose from pre-set breakfast options. Also, you had to pay for drinks! unheard of! (they only provided tea and pot coffee for free.) You definitely need to rent a car or use Grab to move around the area. You cannot walk to restaurants, etc

S Resorts Hidden Vally is set on beautiful green surroundings. It has good facilities on site with a pool, gym and spa. Room was clean which is alway a bonus. The breakfast they offer is ok (better then the rest of the menu offering), you get to choose a selection each day. This didn't effect us but its something to keep in mine. The location is just as it says, Hidden Vally which means nothing is around it until you head back to the main street.

The restaurant food is average for the price you are paying. It could be better but it has that resort price tag on it.

The common areas at [Hotel Name] were truly impressive. They were immaculately clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. The room itself was of a decent size and featured an exceptionally comfortable bed. The AC worked really well. Moreover, the fitness center was a decent size and equipped with well-maintained exercise machines.

The bathroom was disappointingly small and could benefit from a significant upgrade. Additionally, the hotel’s location was somewhat inconvenient, being situated in a remote area. Guests would need to rely on transportation to access nearby attractions and amenities. The food from the restaurant was a bit pricy.

Amazing little retreat, felt so at peace as soon as arrived. The restaurant is great - not expensive but such great food with lovely Indonesian options on offer (as well as western food if you prefer). We ate there every night as other restaurants in Uluwatu weren’t Indonesian. Also great cocktails. Everything is very respectfully priced in this resort, they don’t rip you off despite being a high quality resort. Breakfast was also brilliant. We had an AMAZING massage for 160kIDR for 60 minutes - best one I had whilst in Bali. They have refillable water stations as well to help with plastic use. Don’t worry about the location because they have shuttle services to the beaches during the day and it’s easy and cheap to get Grabs/gojeks. If you want some R&R, this is your place!

The (standard) room was a little basic in comparison to the rest of the resort and had no balcony which is a shame but only minor - felt very comfortable and it was freshly painted etc.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, the grounds of the hotel were kept immaculate. The food and drinks at the restaurant were always of a high standard and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating if they tried! One morning we were feeling unwell and although they don’t usually offer breakfast room service, they brought our breakfast to our room because we were under the weather (baring in mind it was raining outside too!) Uluwatu and this hotel was our first stop in Bali and it couldn’t have set us off on a better start. If you are debating whether or not to book this resort I would say go ahead and do it! You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful pool area (especially the village), great breakfast and lovely staff! The location is really good for trips to the various beaches - I used Grab or the hotel shuffle service and it worked great.

My resort room was nice and clean, but the bathroom was quite smelly - nothing major, but made the stay a little less comfortable

We loved the resort ambience and atmosphere. We found it relaxing away from the busyness on the roads and beaches. The breakfast is varied and good value. I couldn't get enough of the sourdough. The restaurant was also a bonus; they had an excellent menu. The staff are also lovely. We had a very comfortable bed and decent soundproofing in the room. The resort has a pretty good fitness area; although there is so much space, they could add more equipment.

Mainly the bathroom. S Resorts Hidden Valley does not show you photos for a reason. It was tiny and impractical. A tiny cubicle shower with curtain and a small sink with hardly any space to put your toiletries. The water dispensers do not cool the water and are average for a 4-star resort standard. The location is a bit far from the good cafes and restaurants.
