This was the second time we stayed at the hotel, the first since the refurbishment and redecoration (previous one was in 2016). The hotel has now a modern design and decoration but kept the comfort of the rooms that made us book again. The location is very central to Burgos old town and the car park next to the hotel is a big plus.

On the whole we had a pleasant stay but there are two areas we suggest for improvement: 1. The breakfast was substandard - fried eggs were served cold, there were not enough mugs for coffee and glasses were given by staff instead; it felt the breakfast was understaffed for the number of people in the room. 2. The new design of the hotel includes a snack-bar at the entrance; this means the staff is shared between the hotel reception and the cafe, which causes service delays at times, and smoke can be felt entering the hotel area. It would be beneficial to separate physically the hotel from the snack-bar and revisit the staffing levels between the reception and the cafe

Lovely clean hotel, perfect for our stop off whilst travelling. Staff are great and communication was good. To make this absolutely perfect, I’d say they need to let the customer know that whilst there is parking around the town, there isn’t a designated parking area for the hotel. We parked in an underground car park as felt it more secure with our luggage in, costs about 16-18€ for 24 hours and also to allow the customer to take their breakfast to their room. We were travelling with a dog and the dog isn’t allowed in the restaurant-this makes it very awkward. On our outward bound stay we were told we could take breakfast to the outside seating area but the inward bound trip we were told I food wasn’t to leave the restaurant. With a dog and a poorly child this made it difficult. Other than that, great hotel in the centre of the town surrounded by loads of shops, bars, cafes and the most amazing ice cream shop!!

Nice comfortable room with kind of a sundeck with large windows. Although the view right underneath is a parking, it was nice to be able to see the city view. Staff was amazing; we didn't understand how the parking meter worked, so she took us to the parking meter and got tickets for us for an overnight parking (which was very cheap). Conveniently located, it was only 8-minute walk to the Cathedral.

No problem staying with a dog. Went out of their way to help after we got lost in Burgos and arrived late. Over and above help with directions on phone and kept the kitchen open for us to eat. The food prepared was excellent. Also loved the fridge with ice box in the room - we still had a coolbag for onward travel the next day.

The room was fairly basic but was very clean and matched the price so no complaints.

The hotel facilities were excellent with a first class restaurant and fabulous breakfast. Extremely good value as well. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

The parking situation was the only let down. We couldn't reserve parking and arriving late after a long journey, had to park on the road nearby.

Pet friendly in the center of the city. Quick walk to parks nearby. Comfy beds and spacious room. Frig available. Breakfast buffet very tasty with different offering of savory options each morning.

I would have liked Coffee in the room. The evening and kitchen staff were very busy and sometimes brisk.

Very good location right in the centre of the town, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Hotel comes with private parking but it was full so we parked outside in the square for free. Super friendly staff, everyone was very nice and chatty. Made us feel really welcome and were happy to recommend good places to eat. Nice spacious room for 2 adults and 2 children. Bathroom was pretty good too.

Breakfast the following morning was dismal. Not much to choose from, stale croissants, toasters looked like they’d never been cleaned. Not all the plates/spoons/mugs were clean either

The location.Dinner and breakfast was possible. Parking at Plaza Mayor easy en possible fot 2x 24 hour or longer a 18 euro a day. The staff was helpfull and kind.

The dinnerspace was to loud coursed by the tv. Breakfast was not really good.

room was very clean and beds comfy and the location was great

unfortunetly we arrived at checkout time but our room took over 90 minutes to be ready for us to go in so we waited in the front desk area with no other of a drink or food while we waited. We also could not charge our phones at night due to a ringing noise when the key card was in the light switch.

Burgos was beautiful to walk around and this hotel was near the square. The room was good but not as clean as the other hotels we had stayed in. The staff were excellent, the lady that greeted us showed us how to get motorbikes into garage, she offered help and was lovely, next morning my husband had not been well so I asked if I could take breakfast to room, the staff responsible for overseeing the dining area helped me, she was so kind.

I didnt think the room was as clean as it should have been, there were items left by last customer on the desk, I would have normally spoken to staff but as husband not well my priority was him.
