Friendliness of the staff. .. nothing was too much effort! Great value breakfast, location - plenty eateries near and good variety. Staff seemed happy at their jobs. Good relaxed atmosphere. Pleasant stay. Made to feel welcome. Having a fan in the room was a super and considerate and welcome addition. Very well ran and organised. The staff are an asset to the manager.

Could do with better guidance on HOW to get public transport to the hotel. The number 406 Transport London bus runs from directly outside the hotel in BOTH directions from both Epsom and Kingston high streets. This is a fantastic asset as both are large towns with excellent onward travel links and nice areas to spend a day. This useful bus link makes the hotel easy to get to but I think it's closer to Kingston, not Epsom. We are not from London and had no idea HOW to pay for the bus... One person can only pay for themselves, so all people in the group need to have a bank card. NO complaints about the hotel.

It had loads of parking, good staff, good location for our visit, nearby restaurants, takeaways and grocery stores in either direction, a pub right next to it - though it was under renovation by the time we came back near the end of our stay. Plenty of extra space in our room on the top floor and a chaise to lounge on. Reasonable prices and checkout policies - we were able to pay a small fee so that we could stay in the room a little longer avoiding a long wait at the airport.

It was quite warm in the rooms when we stayed there in early July and we couldn't get it to cool down. Wished there was an ice machine or equivalent.

It was clean and tidy, staff were good the beds were comfy, decent TV, shower in the bath was powerful. if you want a Basic, good value for money (near London central) then it's perfectly fine. Stoneleigh train station is 10 minutes walk , direct line to Waterloo.

The hotel is tucked behind a pub. The pub was being renovated at the time of our stay so on arrival it was not the most inviting of places. We took our two young children for a weekend to see family and the family room really is just a double room with the settee and pull out bed made up. If you want a cheap hotel near London for a weekend then it's perfect , would not recommend taking the family room scenario. Short stay business or couples is perfectly acceptable

We booked up for a family wedding and got a great deal for the 2 nights we stayed. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was nice and big also nice and clean. No hot breakfast but did have the option for the grab and go one which we didn't use. Shower very nice and the hubby loved the bath. The pub next door also very nice very convenient to have on your door step

Furniture abit dated and could do with updating which suprised me as it had been closed for renovations im guessing the furniture didn't get replaced as some of the fabric on the bed frame and soft bed was wearing away and you could see the wood work, not enough sockets in the room

The lady behind the desk on the evening on the 15th was delightful and couldn't do enough to help. The bed was super-comfy. The room was exceptionally clean and it was deliciously quiet. I enjoyed having the window open on the top floor too.

The only 2 things I didn't like were: There was a vague smell in the toilet (room 23). And there were no plug outlets available near the bed. Also those that were available over the desk were too low for a bottom-fed charger, such as my own. Other than that it was the perfect stop-over for my requirements. One other thing that is not something you can help, but when I tried to pull onto the road the next morning, all the people gathered at the bus stop completely blocked my view of the traffic and it was very difficult to get out. Regarding your bonus question: Reasons for travelling, I was there because of a family member needing medical care at St. Anthony's. You may want to add 'Other' to your list!

The staff were accommodating and friendly and took real pride in their work and hotel. Very professionally run by people who care. The attached pub which is not part of the business offered a very good meal and drinks for the price.

Being clearly a former Premier Inn site the decor was looking a little tired, but apparently a refurbishment is on the cards. The staff have certainly made the best of the inherited infrastructure.

My second stay here. This time there was a small issue with a chair and the room temprature. I reported this the following day and it was rectified immediatley. I can't ask for more than that.

Another guest was allowed tp partk their motorbike in the entrance inside of the hotel. This was because it was expensive. Had it been outside I would understand, but the smell of pertol at reception was not pleasant. I asked about it and the worker on reception informed me that management had agreed to it.

We had a great stay here, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The location was good and suited us perfectly and it was great value for money. Parking was nice and easy to find and the rooms were a very good size.

The main thing we encountered was the breakfast, there is a bag option which we have never been a fan of really and the pub outside doesn't start serving until 10 so tricky to get an early breakfast. But if you plan ahead, then this can be avoided.

Huge room. Clean neat rooms and comfortable beds. Very quiet even though just off a busy road. Next a lovely pub. Very convenient. Staff were lovely and very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately there is no cooked breakfast however they do provide an alternative cold selection.

Only 1 velux window that if u wanted it dark, then window had to be shut. It was too hot to do that so awake very early. They did supply fans though which was appreciated. Not enough plug sockets for our needs but we are device heavy.

A wonderful hotel situated in a convenient location, adjacent to a delightful gastropub. It is in close proximity to a variety of amenities, including restaurants and bars.

Since there was no restaurant, we had to either collect our breakfast from the reception or have it delivered to our room. When we made the booking, we had the impression that we would be having a proper cooked breakfast in a seated restaurant, rather than eating a croissant and boiled egg in our room.
