It was a wonderful 5 nights stay. Great location, lovely restaurant named Streamline nearby we ate 3 nights there it was delicious. The nearby beach to the right at Ocean bay was beautiful. The beach to the left Bamboo beach not as nice but cheap paddle board and kayak hire. The hotel was beautiful, clean, the pool better than the photos even. The breakfast was delicious with plenty options, including waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, toast etc etc. The rooms are large with fabulous big hot showers. A very lovely stay thank you! I cannot forget to mention the lovely staff, very kind and professional x

Only a few rooms are set back from the pool and had I know I would have requested a poolside room. Was not a huge issue though at all.

Very well laid out with beautiful gardens. The pool was excellent in a gorgeous setting. Everything we needed in the spacious rooms, daily house keeping with fresh towels and restocking of water. A small resort which was nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very nice, good variety and the menu changed daily. Lovely stay at Golden Topaz, would highly recommend.

Rooms were great.Big comfy and very clean.Fantastic! The pool was great and had the feel of a top class resort. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The spa area upstairs was expensive but worth every dong.Great massage in excellent surroundings. The beach nearby is lovely (not private)and can be accessed through the Ocean Bay hotel. Great value relaxing break.Would return.

It was not on the beach but the price reflected this.There was a golf buggy provided until 5pm that was great and the walk not too far anyway. The breakfast was OK but the food on the menu from 10-6 was generally poor although drinks were good. However with the Wood House as well as the excellent Spot pizza place food not really a problem.

The resort is very nice and is constantly maintained in good condition. Another advantage is that it is quiet here. The rooms are tastefully furnished and you will find everything you need here (e.g. hair dryer). In addition, the rooms are cleaned every day. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The pool is really great, no dirt anywhere, just great. You have to choose breakfast from the menu every day. The place is a good distance from Duong Dong either by Grab or by scooter.

If you want to go to the beach, consider that you have to use a scooter or grab. A small detail, the clothes dryer is missing.

Our room was nice, spacious and clean. We had complementary tea, coffee and water every day. The location is central in Ong Lang, around 5-10 mins from the bar & restaurant street & 5 mins away from the local bus stop.

We were there for New Year's and there was nothing happening at the hotel. The receptionists also didn't recommend us anything to do in the area which is not mandatory of course but I would have appreciated some better service, the cleaning lady also rolled her eyes when we left the room later than her preferred cleaning time.

- Staff was friendly and helpful. - Rooms were large and clean. - Loved the large swimming pool and the kids enjoyed swimming in it both during the day and at night. - There's a free bus nearby that goes into town if you want to check out the town including the Night Market. - Only 5-10 min walk down the road to the public beach - white sand, clear waters and super warm water for relaxing in.

- The remoteness of the place, not many things around it, however we knew when we booked it, it was a little bit out from the town.

Idyllic small resort full of friendly staff and guests. Great food options both on the property and close by within walking distance. It was perfect for much needed r&r. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. The pool and lounge area is peaceful with plenty of sun and shaded spaces. I’m so happy we chose Golden Topaz.

I can’t think of one thing I would change.

We came during the off-season and were lucky to have the entire complex to ourselves. The staff was helpful and attentive, and the rooms were large and clean. We were able to rent scooters from the front desk and enjoyed lounging by the pool after driving around the island. The rooms were huge and spotless. The large beds and the fact that the complex was quiet at night made us sleep like babies.

We encountered no issues the front desk team couldn't address and had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The following issues don't concern the Golden Topaz Resort but Phu Quoc Island in general. The island seemed a strange mixture of tropical paradise and tourist traps. Unfortunately, we did not find much to do near the hotel, and Ong Lang Beach was a disappointment.

The images do not do it justice! The pool is beaut, the rooms are really lovely and comfortable. The indoor/outdoor shower was a nice touch :) loved my little terrace outside my room too! Quiet area, which was perfect for 48 hours of solo time, so served its purpose for me. Its a great spot though if you are happy to scooter around.

Remote area, you need a scooter or taxi to do anything. One restaurant opposite the hotel which was nice. The beach down the road is no longer accessible to the public. Room was clean, but there was tooth paste stains on the mirror, and shower product packaging left behind in the shower. So not full attention to detail.

A lovely, peaceful haven a short distance from the main road and beach. We hired a moped, so getting around wasn't an issue. Eateries and very small supermarket within walking distance.. Rooms spacious, our upstairs had lovely view of pool. Large bathroom with huge shower area. Ordered breakfast, which was a good plateful. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

To access a nice beach, walk through the hotel grounds of an adjacent hotel to the local beach.
