A charming hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful—when I asked for recommendations, one of them even took the time to write me a personalized list of places to visit. While the room was on the smaller side, it was spotless and comfortable. In the morning, they serve complimentary coffee and croissants, which is a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located near many shops, restaurants, and major attractions, all within walking distance. The metro and train stations are just a 5-minute walk away.

The location was very central. Less than 5 mins walk from Amsterdam central station. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly! The hotel also had elevator which was very helpful considering its in the middle of Amsterdam. They also had umbrella's you can borrow, although we learned this later on after buying our own. They also had a mini breakfast nook. Just be early - like on our second day, we didn't have any bread or croissant left but there is always coffee and tea available 24/7.

There were some stains inside the room, looks like beer stains in the wall that was splashed and dried. The bed side socket as well, gave me a shock.. I already told the staff about it when we left (seems like the previous guest put something in it and was left there.)

Excellent location close to the railway station and easy walking to all areas of central Amsterdam and only half an hour to the museum platz (or you could use the tram/metro). Late arrival was no problem as the desk is manned 24 hours. Good size room and decent bathroom. Comfy bed and pillows. Nice touch that they presented you with a food parcel on checking out (snacks and a drink).

Only slight downside and this may only affect the top floor, was the constant rumble of what I assume were the aircon/heat units either on the hotel or neighbouring properties? and the pipes made a random drip noise. However, after the first night I got used to the sounds and slept better.

the property is right in the midst of everything and anything you would want to do in Amsterdam. the staff at reception are very good and very helpful with everything. we stayed there for 4 days and LUXER just grew on us. Highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Location was great for being central to Damrak and near the Centraal Station. The staff on arrival were super friendly and informative. The bed was comfy and the heating worked great in the room. The room was good value for money given the location and was handy for being central to bars, restaurants and a lot of attractions. The bar and reception are open and manned 24 hours. Room was cleaned daily to a really good standard and the cleaner was really polite and friendly. On check out they gave us a bag of snacks and drinks for our journey which is a really lovely touch and not many places are so thoughtful.

The building is a typical traditional Amsterdam building so right onto a busy street so expect some noise. The age of the building does also mean any noise from corridors or neighbours can be heard. Bathroom was tiny and although functional it was difficult to move in there, smaller sink would allow better access to the toilet and shower. Decor us dated but does the job.

Great location - very quick and easy from station. Friendly helpful staff. The hair dryer in our room didn't work, and the staff immediately acquired another - I think they actually went out and bought one.

With a hotel in this location there is always going to be some external noise. There was noise from people in street outside until quite late and early morning noise from bin collections. Anywhere in the centre will have this noise and you need to balance up the convenience of the location with the noise. The second night there was a lot of noise from next door room. The walls are very thin and we could hear every word of her telephone call. There was a lot of disturbance with people in and out of this room and running in the corridor, and by 1.30am I phoned reception and they sorted it out,.

Excellent location right in heart of the city. Everything within easy walking distance. No shortage of restaurants and bars. Staff friendly and chatty. Room basic but bed very comfy, bit tired in places but cant fault it for the price. 100% we’d return here again. Nice touches despite room only, croissants, biscuits etc at breakfast time and a goody bag when departing.

Can’t fault anything, room a little tired but perfectly adequate. Air con a bonus for the heating. Toilet a bit cramped but as everywhere in Amsterdam, space is a premium

Good location - close to train station, shops and attractions. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for a break to Amsterdam.

Room needs decorating and new carpet other than that very clean.

1) The location - perfect! 2) They provided complementary coffee, water, snacks, cake, croissant in the hall. 3) A very good and helpful stuff, they were eager to provide help and advice whenever they could. Very polite guys. 4) The room was a bit smaller than one could grasp via pictures, but everything was clean and comfy, so not a big deal.

After we had arrived and checked in, we were provided a room that was not what we had booked initially. We showed them the pictures, let them know we wanted what we had paid for, and they organized it in a few minutes and everything turned out great.

Friendly and very helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere, perfect location, clean rooms - fairly spacious.
