I had some reservations about our stay after reading some of the reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were amazing, some spoken very good English (which helped with my broken French). Rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, we all slept amazingly. We didn't use the restaurant for breakfast as the was a brilliant boulangerie across the road. Subway, McDonalds on your doorstep as well as a Aldi. Restaurants within 5 mins drive. So much to see and do locally that we needed longer than the week we had.

You need a car as it is on the outskirts of everything and its about 40 min walk into town, but that said that was our choice. the restaurant was only doing breakfast and pizza in the evening. Apart from that everything was great.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was equally generous in size, providing plenty of comfort. Given the size and amenities, this stay offers great value for money. Highly recommend for those looking for a budget-friendly yet roomy option.

Everything we needed was provided. The room wasn’t the most modern, but it was clean and well-maintained. While the door to the hallway didn’t offer much noise insulation, it wasn't a significant problem. We skipped the breakfast and opted for a nearby bakery instead, which offered better value for money.

Cleanliness throughout the property, friendliness of the staff, quality & variety of the breakfast. Unusual to have a bar with draught beer in a hotel of this type. Very good selection of products kept by reception available event at 23:30 when we arrived.

The hotel is old, but has been very well kept.

well located after our ferry crossing from Portsmouth . Clean comfy bed and bathroom . Nice simple continental breakfast .

Very dated - which is a shame but I guess what they charge doesn’t generate the money to update/modernise . if you look beyond this the accommodation and service are ok.

Good size clean room with very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making available and plenty of space in room. Easy access from ferry and easy to check in after staff have left.

Bathroom in need of an update very worn and mouldy around shower.

It is very easy to reach from the main road, has its own car park, dog friendly. The breakfast was good. Friendly staff

The electronic system to enter the hotel, after the front desk closes is not very user friendly. But we managed

A very conveniently placed hotel in a good location for travellers. We arrived late and the night staff Bashir was so helpfull.

Nothing really. We were only stopping one night passing through . Beds comfortable shpwer and toilet all clean and working well. Breakfast was good and not stingy.

Very dog friendly - gave our boy a dog treat on arrival! Lovely staff; room was a good size; very easy 20 mins from the Caen to Portsmouth Brittany Ferry.
