So much about this hotel made our stay in Porto a memorable one. Outstanding staff and service; friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, theyre a real asset to the establishment. Excellent breakfast with so many options. Clearly lots of preparation and attention paid to make a plentiful and rewarding experience. Superb location that's a ten minute downhill walk to the old town, bridge and river, with all the area has to offer. Really comfortable and spacious room with a well appointed bathroom. Great value for money, we'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. Thank you!!

We had a garden view room. If you need perfect silence, then choose only a room with a garden view. The room was very clean, there was a beautiful view of the bamboo thickets outside the window. The sounds of the city did not reach us at all as if we lived in a village and not in a noisy city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were very varied, everything was fresh and tasty. You can additionally order some dishes from the menu for free, which will be prepared especially for you.

We came across a room with a slightly strange bathroom. To dry myself after the shower, I needed to get out of it. I ended up standing naked in the middle of the room. The air conditioner was also positioned in such a way that cold air fell directly on one half of the bed. Therefore, my wife slept comfortably, but I constantly covered myself with a blanket. It was impossible to change the direction of the air.

1.  From start to finish we found all staff to be welcoming, polite, and approachable. A complimentary glass of wine, water on arrival. 2. Our bedroom with balcony was compact but perfectly arranged, making excellent use of space. A complimentary bottle of wine along with filtered water. The filtered water was replaced daily. A nice touch. 3. The shower room had both overhead and hand held shower with excellent water pressure. Good quality and quantity of Portuguese liquid soap, shampoo and cream. 4. Breakfast buffet  didn't disappoint! A selection of quality foods beautifully presented. 5. Outside space relaxing with tall bamboo and peaceful garden.

Nice hotel in Porto! I stayed in their garden view room which was perfect, some green right outside my window, small veranda to sit with a glass of wine. The room is very clean and neat. The hotel is very close to everything, 5 min walk to that famous bridge, 10 min to historic center. Around 10 min walk to subway station. I really liked that the rooms don't face the street, but rather located inside the inner garden. This creates quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfasts are great too!

The sink right in the room (and not in the bathroom) is sort of strange interior designer's choice, but I guess that's fine.

Location is so good, everything is walkable distance. The asset of this hotel is their staff, so warm & knowledgeable of Porto. I was actually kind of sick when I checked in to the hotel & Miguel @ reception desk directed me to a better option than the one I had in mind. He knows Porto like the back of his hand. And the breakfast was a bonus, so varied choices & Martha, the breakfast person always knew that I wanted their scrambled egg, so soft & cooked deliciously. This was honestly the best hotel I’ve stayed in my 2 week travel. Hope I can go back with my grown kids someday. Thank you for making me feel comfortable.

The hotel is very cute. The garden looked lovely, but unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating so we never got to use it. The breakfast was delicious. The location is great, not in the busiest area, but close to transportation, shops and restuarants.

The rooms are very small. If you spend most time outside, it doesn't matter, but when it's raining, it feels cramped. The public lounge area is very stylish, but also small.

The staff at the hotel is the biggest plus: they are kind, competent, and helpful. You feel welcomed and taken care of from the start till the end of your stay. We got a little welcome gift, and on the last day when we had to leave before the breakfast, they prepared a "picnic bag" for us. The second big plus is the breakfast: it is rich compared to other places, you can choose among a reasonable variety of savory and sweet things; you can order eggs at no additional costsl; they keep bringing new food and it seems that they care about reducing food waste. The third plus is the location - close to the Mercado do Bolhão, Sé Catedral, São Bento station - everything is within a walking distance.

I must admit I was not a fan of the bathroom set up in our room - within our room, there was a separate small space/room for the toilet; separate space for the shower (where you could not turn the light on), and the wasbasin was in the main room near the bed. It made the "bathroom rituals" a little uncomfortable, and if you have to use the toilet at night for some reason, it creates more noise for the other person.

- The location of the hotel is very good and convenient, either very close to all the attractions or within walking distance. - The staff was extremely helpful, Miguel took the time to tell us all the main attraction sites we have to see and shared his favorite restaurants with us on the map. - The hotel service really shows the hospitality of Portuguese people, they always made sure that we had everything we needed and we had a pleasant stay. - The rooms were daily and meticulously cleaned. - The room we stayed in was very beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. - We ate breakfast at our hotel every day during our 4 day of stay in Porto. This is quite rare for us as we are foodies. We have learned that apart from croissant and pastries, the hotel staff prepared all the food in the hotel. The food was delicious and you can always grab something after the breakfast time, or have a tea time later on in the day.

There is nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

1. It has a great location (about a 10-minute walk from Bolhão). 2. Helpful and responsive receptionists. 3. Welcome water & wine (it would be nice to have an alternative for non-drinkers like me). 4. A towel dryer is available, which makes life better. 5. Free room upgrade. 6. Breakfast was included. 7. Electric kettle in the room and good tea. Overall, it is a great value for money. I have been to way worse hotels for double-triple the price.

1. A bathroom sink in the room felt weird (e.g. you brush your teeth in the room instead of the bathroom). 2. The heating didn't work even after the receptionist's tweaks. The blanket saved me big time. 3. At about 07:28-07:30 in the morning a FIRE ALARM was running somewhere for no reason (luckily). I wasn't super worried about it but it disrupted my sleep. 4. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. 5. Some walls were damaged (visually), etc. (I know it is not a big deal, just mentioning it so that people have a full picture)

What's not to like about this place. Firstly, the staff is exceptional. Everyone went out of our way to ensure we had the best visit to Porto. They helped with outstanding suggestions on places to eat, things to do and how to best navigate the city. They even made us travel breakfast because we had to check out early morning before breakfast was served. Speaking of Breakfast, there is something very special about home made breakfast each morning and that's what you get during your stay here. All in all, this hits on all the marks. Great location, great rooms, great breakfast and outstanding staff.

Honestly, we didn't find anything that we didn't like about this locations. We liked it so much, we stayed at 2 other locations with the same company.
