Location the spa, the wonderful massages, the incredible view on the roof, breakfast area and the great buffet breakfasts . Housekeeping was excellent and we were graced with amazing towel sculptures on her bed after each cleaning the hotel is a short walk too many sites, including the large and wonderful Gulhane park, which surrounds the Topkaki palace. It is also a one block walk to the tram where for 20 Turkish lira you can travel to Kabatas where you can take a funicular up to Taxim Square or to to the port for the boats to the princess Islands. In the other direction, the tram takes you to Sultanamet and the old bazaar. we have stayed at the hotel three times over the past 14 years and we have never been disappointed. The staff ordered us a cab to take us to Istanbul airport at a very decent price. Special thank you to Mehmet For his healing hands at the Hotel spa. The pool is quite luxurious. while it is small there were times when I swim alone and at the most there were only four or five other people using the area. A caution to short people the pool is 1.4 meters deep with no shallow end.

Well, the rooms are decorated beautifully with all the amenities, including a window seat with cushions, they are very small. Some some rooms do not have views. Also, at breakfast, you need to pay extra for cappuccinos, lattes, or fresh squeezed orange juice. Made to order omelettes , pancakes and waffles are free.

The check-in was very informative and efficient, The breakfast selection was very good with the restaurant having superb views. The location was absolutely fantastic close to a lot of tourist attractions.

Asked for one of the packages that the hotel provides and did not fulfill. Booked the Valentines package with arrival cocktails and cake to be in the room with bottle of wine and decorated with balloons and decorative petals. Petals and balloons in the room but the drinks and cake not there. Informed staff but never did get the cake or wine. Brought this to the attention to the reception staff when checking out and they were very apologetic and waivered drinks from mini bar and restaurant and could not apologise enough.

Almost everything.

I would rather to have more options in the breakfast like semi skimmed milk or without lactose. And we couldn't use the swimming pool because was only until 6pm and we usually are visiting the city at that time. It should be open at least a couple of hours more to get a relax time after a long day.

The location is superb, perfect for all the tourist highlights. The staff were very gracious and kind, the restaurant was superb.

There could have been better information available about the facilities, in particular the swimming pool, snd also charging for the swimming caps seemed a bit mean, when you are paying so much.

Location of the hotel in the old town was perfect! Very close to the tram, mosques, parks & attractions. Reception staff were extremely helpful, very knowledgeable & took time to explain things to you. I particularly thought that Nora was an asset to the hotel with her knowledge of languages & always had a lot of time for you to have a nice conversation. The Bar was a nice place to either start the evening or finish. Lovely staff in the bar and at Breakfast. Breakfast was a good variety of all sorts of things & also food that you could order to your liking. Room & bathroom were an average size & clean. Our cleaner was a very happy lady (sorry do not remember her name) & would do anything for you.

The bedding felt damp even when the bedding was changed, maybe it had something to do with the air conditioning. The wifi was dreadful.

Amazing location - just a few steps from the tram stop, and walking distance to many attractions. Most of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially the restaurant / breakfast folks. We had our daughters' birthday during our stay and they brought cake / celebrations to make it special. Thanks Mehmet and team! The restaurant can manage allergy requirements very well. The breakfast is top notch. And also the dinner at the restaurant is fantastic

I think the housekeeping can be improved (cleaning of rooms, etc.)

Well located with the tram, shops, restaurants and Sultanahmet neighbourhood within walking distance. The breakfast was great with lots of varieties and different menus everyday. The food was very tasty with different local specialities served everyday. The Spa and pool were very relaxing and the Turkish Bath is a must try. The staff at the reception and restaurant were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. You also have a panoramic view from the roof top restaurant. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned everyday, comfortable thought a little bit small. All amenities were however provided. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and definitely recommend.

The location is just superb, near the tram stop, shopping and loads of lovely places to eat. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast had a fantastic selection of food too. The spa and self-service hamam were a bonus. Good shower, pretty sound proof rooms and not much outside noise despite being in the heart of the city.

The rooms are a little small, but that's expected given the location. Also, our bathroom door (Room 2108) did not close properly - it would be good if they could get that changed. Other than that I cannot fault the hotel.

1. Hotel - Excellent hotel with good sized rooms, nice lobby, good pool, excellent restaurant & spa. The room we stayed in was a good size, good shower and had everything we needed. 2. Staff were very good. Always happy to help and answer any questions you might have. 3. Location - Location was superb. 2 mins from metro line to literally everywhere however, if you fancy a walk, nothing is too far. Hagia Sofia for example, 10min walk. Eminonu to get to the Asian side, probably 10-12min walk. Restaurants, souvenir shops, coffee shops, baklava etc all within 5 mins of the hotel. 4. Breakfast - A wide array on the buffet. From fruit, eggs, cereal, breads right through to fresh omelettes. 5. Internet/Wi-Fi - No issues - connection was great from everywhere and good speeds.

The TV in the room was a little small but we didn't travel to Istanbul to watch television.

Excellent location. The hotel is located within a short walking distance of the main sites of Istanbul. Only 15-20 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar etc. However, you can also get a tram only 100m from the hotel and the next stop is the centre of all of these famous attractions. Breakfast at the hotel is excellent. A wide range of options on offer, all served at the rooftop restaurant with some great views over the city. But above all, the staff at the hotel are all so friendly and helpful.

Transport to the hotel: we paid 69 Euros for the private transport option from airport to the hotel. It was a little shambolic at the airport with considerable waiting around with other travellers at the meeting point and uncertainty about what was happening- transport was booked through a company or agent. When we finally got into our vehicle it was spacious comfortable, and not shared. But not quite the smooth system you’d expect for a private car booking. However, it has to be said that returning to the airport using the same private car booking was excellent and highly recommended- we got to the airport in under an hour.
