Could not recommend this place highly enough. David and Sophie were absolutely amazing from start to finish and made us feel so welcome and so at home. The room we stayed in (the Willows) was stunning and beautifully refurbished with unique Victorian shower. The restaurant was stunning and food absolutely incredible. The lounge and whisky snug for drinks both before & after dinner were both amazing, and complete such a perfect venue with all you need under 1 roof. Breakfast the next day absolutely delicious too. Will definitely be back again to check out the terrace outside.

The fact we had to go home!

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable . The permeated and staff were very friendly . The food and service was excellent .

I didn’t expect toddlers in the whisky snug area on a Saturday night . We were trying to enjoy our special anniversary night away and didn’t expect to have to listen to screetching children. We left and went up to our room for some peace . On reflection overnight guests should take priority in these areas and this would make it more relaxing .

A fabulous Inn in beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. We were met by our host & shown to our gorgeous room which was immaculately clean & comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious, 5 star service. We finished off our evening with a night cap in the Whisky Snug - so cozy. Breakfast was fab & we left feeling full & contented. A must stay for a special occasion, you are treated so well. !!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Kildrummy Inn. The best element (although it was all amazing!) was the outstanding hospitality from the team. We felt so looked after! The room was SUPER clean, very cosy, and the bath heavenly. Plus the food was delicious - I gave the team advance notice that I'm a gluten-free veggie and it wasn't an issue at all. A wonderful stay from start to finish.

By far one of the most relaxing inn's I have ever been to. The staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. The food looks fancy, but surprisingly you get a good amount for what you pay, they really have got that one spot on. I loved the fact that the staff all made you feel so welcome and couldn't do enough to help you. I love my whiskys but I learnt a lot in one night from the owner, who was more than happy to pass on his knowledge about whiskys, I got to try a few that I would of never thought of trying due to the price of a bottle.

There really wasn't much we didn't like. There are renovations currently going on, so if you don't want to see scaffolding then hold off until they are finished and then go and have a great time and a fantastic feed.

The food here (unbeknown to us before we booked) has won awards for it's fine dining. The very friendly and congenial proprietor is an award-winning chef and is also highly knowledgeable about his wines and spirits. He offers an array of rare and obscure alcoholic treats, and you should definitely true the aged rum! The dinner and breakfast menus were fantastic - lots of local and homemade fare, and gluten-free options for almost everything.

I can't think of anything.

Room was spacious and spotless. Very comfortable pillows and beds. Facilities to make our own tea/coffee etc. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices, and served at a time to suit us. We booked for dinner too and I was so glad as it was indeed wonderful. All staff were very chatty, from recommending gins to availability for river fishing for my husband. Absolutely top service and would love to return one day. (3 plus hours drive :( ) Birthday treat for my husband :)

Nothing negative but note a car is required as in the countryside. This for me was an attraction.

David and Sophie were wonderful hosts. They both went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one. The food in the dining room was fantastic, using local ingredients in creative and very tasty ways. David was extremely knowledgeable about whiskey in general, and several of the area distilleries specifically, and was happy to share. The room was very comfortable. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to another visit in the future.

Our experience was wonderful.

Old coaching Inn, fab atmosphere, comfortable room, and main reason for visit - exceptional dinner! Everything just full of flavour and great menu choice. Breakfast was delicious, plenty choice, but too full from evening meal to do it justice.

Something which will be resolved in the forthcoming refurbishment, but outside space to have a pre-dinner drink was next to main road, out of sun. The new terrace planned will fix this!
