Great knowledge of gluten free food and every touch was personalised to our needs and preferences. Breakfast was the best I've had in the world. Extensive choices and superb quality. I'm so glad I picked the Hanging Gardens of Bali for our stay in Ubud. It was the perfect retreat in the middle of the mountain jungle. I can't find the words to describe the overwhelming peace I felt while staying in this place. The staff is hospitable, nice, and communicates very well. We were able to plan our car rentals and they gave us a few valuable recommendations. Our villa had a fantastic view, especially from the pool. We even got to witness monkeys fighting on the trees from our room. The breakfast was amazing, but the rest of the day's menu could use more options.

I was disappointed by the lack of a bidet in the villa, especially in a Southeast Asian country where they're normal. We found them in the reception's toilets but not in our villa.

Our stay at the Hanging Gardens of Bali was a memorable experience for me, my wife, and our 10-year-old son. The resort is set in the jungle of Ubud and offers amazing views of the Ayung River and surrounding rainforest. The infinity pool is the main highlight. Positioned on a hillside, it provides stunning views of the jungle. We spent hours swimming and enjoying the view, and our son had a great time too. Our villa also had its own private swimming pool, which had equally stunning views. It was a perfect place to relax in complete privacy. A big thank you to Yudiana and Wita for their excellent service. Yudiana made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay, and Wita at the restaurant provided great service during our meals. What really stood out was how all the staff were incredibly polite and worked hard to make our experience special. From the moment we arrived, everyone made an effort to remember our names and take a personal interest in getting to know us. This thoughtful touch made us feel truly welcomed and valued throughout our stay. The staff were always friendly and attentive, ensuring that every part of our stay went smoothly. We also enjoyed the food at the resort’s restaurant, which had a mix of Balinese and international dishes. The natural surroundings of the resort provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect place for our family to unwind and enjoy nature. If you're visiting Bali, I highly recommend the Hanging Gardens for an unforgettable experience.

It’s very secluded and close to nature, which we loved. The entire resort is very clean and a lot of attention to detail is placed in every section.

The location is a bit far from Ubud center and tourist attractions

Hotel gets in touch with you in order to arrange a transfer (upon a fee), room preparation & welcoming. As you enter the hotel it feels like you’re in a oasis. The jungle and the view is amazing. The staff is very respectful and helpfull! There’s a shuttle service going to center & back 3 times a day. The hotel is a bit far from center but that’s what makes it unique. The breakfast selection is Good. The Spa treatments are fantastic there are different options to choose from. The mani pool area is also beautiful. Our room was gorgeous very comfortable, swimming at the rooms pool with breath taking view was fantastic! Every detail was thought from sarongs to mosquito repellants. My wife enjoyed daily baked cookies left at our room. It’s a beautiful hotel to Relax & unwind. I recommend it 100%!

The views and the villa size

The pool temperature is too cold for swimming, it should have heaters given that hotel is at the mountain.

Love everything about this resort : serene and tranquil location, breathtaking swimming pool, amazingly beautiful villas, and the enjoyable yoga class every afternoon with the sounds of the streams from the Ayung River (such rare experiences and unforgettable moment!), but one thing that is the most outstanding experience from this resort is the hospitality and the services of their staff, everyone are very kind, friendly, helpful and engaging in every conversations we have, not just regular hospitality, but they are also sharing their cultural balinese values with us. The manager always come to our table with his friendly greetings and always makes sure that we have a great experience during our stay. It was a memorable experience for us staying in Hanging Gardens Ubud, we will come back gere for sure !

Phenomenal hotel. The location was perfect, and the staff were so attentive and friendly. The grounds of the hotel are amazing and we didn’t even want to leave. Would definitely advise to plan a day to just stay in the resort to enjoy all the pools and the views because it is stunning and well worth it. The breakfast and dinner were amazing and overall was an incredible hotel.
