It was quaint. I did not know exactly how different it would be from a motel. We enjoyed meeting others in a common area and spending late afternoon and early evening on the front porch in the rockers. The hostess was really the brightest spot of the whole event. She was a fine young lady and spent time with her guests.
The price was more a reflection of the National Quilt Show that was in town, which is why we were there in the first place. It was a Christmas present for the spouse. I made the decision to go even with the price but it would have been better if it was a little lower.

The location. The history of the Washington hotel was impressive. Victoria was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The jetted bathtub was very nice and the king size bed was very comfortable.
Our room we rented was a small bedroom with a common living room area that multiple renters used for the kitchen and living room. The only privacy was in our small bedroom which we didn’t pick up on when the room was rented. We also ran out of hot water in the mornings due to the fully booked hotel for the Eclipse. We paid 3 times normal rates for our 2 day stay but did agree up front to this rate to be centrally located for the Eclipse.

It was in an old historical house. The room was small. It was nice to meet others at breakfast in the dining room and chat a bit. The hostess was lovely and she made a special delicious breakfast. The coffee was strong enough😊
There really needs to be a bedside lamp and table on both sides of the bed….even though the room is small there are little tables and lamps to fit….there was no place to put glasses, phone, etc.

We really enjoyed the ‘old’ feel to it of the marble walls and floors, the old antique french style couch that was in our room and the overall decoration of the historic property was very beautiful and spot on.
We wish there would’ve been a small curtain on the door that went to the patio, there was some light that came into the room and the glass to the door wasn’t covered to prevent anyone from looking in. BUT, we still enjoyed our stay.

The place is more like a traditional B&B as you can affordably purchase breakfast and the hotel has adjoining common rooms. The innkeepers are delightful and more than willing to assist. We stayed in the 2nd house next door that is newer than the "Victorian" original home. We had a lovely traditionally equipped room with the Best mattress I have ever slept in. Our private bath had a spa tub and shower. The common space had a sub zero fridge where we could store our travel food. Due to an ice storm we were "stuck" in town an extra night and they easily accommodated our 2nd night in the same room. Anytime we are in Paducah we will stay here again. Simply Delightful!

Unique. It looks more like a bed & breakfast. It has facilities to be one. Full kitchen. Full size refrigerators. Cookware and utensils. Glasses, bowls and cutlery. Makes you feel like you’re sharing someone’s home. It has history related atmospheres. The room was the cleanest I’ve been in for years and I travel a lot. I was very pleased.

It was a nice quiet room even though there were other guests. We were divided a different room that what I had reserved. Great.
There wasn’t a breakfast provided, B n B? You had to drive down the street for the breakfast at. An additional cost. The tv remote didn’t work.

The house was divided up so that everyone had access to the kitchen area. The bathroom floor shone like a mirror. Very clean. James was excellent host in helping us get settled in and advising of good places to eat.
Although the mattress was listed as being “luxury” it was so soft I had trouble being able to move around on it.

We arrived late and the guy greeted us very friendly. He claimed that when we booked the room it wasn't the one we thought it was. He was able to work all that out for us. Very friendly. Very cool experience. Did have to clean the tub but other than that it was great
Tub was not cleaned to my standard

Clean room for a 1 night stay. Price was also good.
NOT A HOTEL - it's a stay in 1 of 2 homes! It is located in the "old" part of Paducah near the Riverfront. There is a street with a few shops and restaurants, but the big stores and places to eat are located a few miles away
