Our cabin’s location is amazing! We got the best view of the famous mountain and ocean with no obstacle. It is very beautiful! You can see the northern light even from both of the windows!! The hotel itself is already awesome with or without the northern light! I recommend u to walk to take a photo at the bridge to reine as well! The room is a nordic style with a proper decoration and well-equipped IKEA kitchen! The bed is comfy and the bathroom is also good. The hotel has free charging for electric cars which is a plus! I love how easy it is to drive to any other famous location from here using the E10 road. I definitely will come back again!
The hot water is only running for 7-9 mins. I think this might be common in Norway. The trick to make it run longer is to not turn the water on to the max. So, you can buy it sometimes if you staying with lots of people. When we first arrived to our cabin, there is still the trash inside the bin. So, we took the trash out and inform the reception. There is the rule about separating the trash and you have to took the trash out by yourself here. Obviously, the previous guest didn’t do that but the hotel should have checked too. Apart from this, everything is really awesome!

Eliassen is an iconic, picturesque stay largely depicted by photos you'll see everywhere - Google images, calendars and even the Norway tourism posters around the airport and booking centers. But even after getting there - it doesn't disappoint. It's every bit as gorgeous and you cannot stop looking outside your cottage. Inside, the cottage is futuristic & modern in every way - so you don't mind being cooped in for a night or two. Not a bad thing to say - amazing stay, location and staff
Little availability of food/restaurants around the property, but that's not Eliassen's fault - Hamnoy and neighboring areas are sparsely populated. Make sure you have a car at your disposal to travel further south or north as required

Location was breathtaking. We came mainly to try and see the Nothern lights. We stayed 3 nights and was able to see the northern lights on the first 2 nights!!! Easy parking outside our cabin. Spacious and comfy. We didnt have the best of weather but cabin was nice and warm. There were fresh pastries available to buy at reception but we weren't aware of until later in our stay which was a little disappointing. Reception was nice enough to print out some train tickets for us for our next travels.
No complimentary tea, coffee or milk. There was a kitchen but no oil, salt, pepper, sugar supplied for cooking? We had an amazing big window view out to the sea and night sky that we loved sitting by, but faces out to a wrap around porch that was available to other cabins, bit awkward trying to enjoy the view and having other guest walk past and looking in. Couldn't figure out how to check out on the app. There were alot of useful things on their app, but reception did not mention when checking in, only found out when trying to check out.

The hotel was in a good location for us to explore the large Lofoten area and hiking trails. The view from the location was great, we even saw a little northern lights although it was blocked by the clouds later. The place is clean and well maintained. Staff including those in the restaurants were friendly. We used the kitchen to cook food twice. By the way, for those who want to cook, we only found salt, no other spices nor cooking oil. We did not find tea or coffee in the room either.
We booked three nights with breakfast. The first day was excellent and we enjoyed the fresh foods and freshly baked pastries. However, on the second and third days, we encountered a big tourist group. The hotel allowed them to take food for "lunch". That became a problem as there was not enough food to go around during this time.

absolutely fantastic location and view from window.saw the Northern lights from both ends of apartment.clean . Had a wall- fold down bed in 'living room' under a large ceiling window und in front of the breathtaking wall to ceiling window.we moved all the bedding ( including mattress topper) from the bedroom on to this one. we were sleeping literally above the water.loved the floor heating in bathroom.the actual wall fold down bed is not the most comfortabe but has the best view ever.
like everywhere else we stayed in Norway, you had to download an app to get any information at all. next to no 'touristy' information come from receptionists who were mostly foreigners themselves.no brochueres, either, no tourist information anywhere.

Exactly as advertised. You are essentially staying within a postcard. The image of this place is on every travel brochure for a reason. It’s perfectly situated overlooking Reinefjord and its fingers, the jagged mountains behind. If you get a Rorbuer on the dock you watching the dramatic scene change with the weather, kayakers floating past your massive window. The place is spot less, comfortable, and the staff in the office are really helpful. The restaurant is pretty good for dinner and breakfast. Alternatively you can eat at the fish and chips shack. Anita’s on the next island over is a treasure. Easy access here to Reinebringen hike and points future south as well as Kvalvika. I recommend at least 3 nights.
The bay windows are really hard to open. Ask the staff to show you the trick.

The location is great, right by THE most iconic Lofoten photo spot. Our cabin offers a lake view. The kitchen has most amenities for cooking, but a bit dark over the cooking area. Has a sizeable refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast is OK, simple but enough to start a good day. The breakfast staff were very kind and helpful.
I wish the cabin would supply shampoo and shower liquid/soap. And have some lights over the kitchen and dining room area. The onsite restaurant initially refuse to let us have dinner one day, siting they had a large tour group to serve. However, this is the only restaurant onsite, and no requirement for pre-reservation :( . The sauna room schedule is very unfriendly, either during dinner time, or in the afternoon when we were out touring the town.

Great cottage, location and scenery of the mountain. The fish and chips on site truck was so delicious and the woman who ran it was wonderful! Seems very popular, too. We weren't able to get a reservation at the Italian restaurant until 8:45 one night so we passed, but it was our fault for not planning ahead. The bakery goods can be bought for half price or sometimes given away for free in the office later in the day. It was also very nice to have free EV charging.
We stayed four nights and requested clean towels on the third night after using them multiple times, but they were never delivered by front desk as they stated they would so we just made do. We weren’t able to get late check out but we figured it was unlikely due to the high season. There were not any rowboats to use as was stated in their app under amenities unless I read it somewhere else. Some difficulty getting out at the entrance as the light for the bridge is right there and cars can back up and there was one deep pot hole in the road near the entrance. We would definitely stay there again because the benefits outweigh the minor inconveniences we experienced.

Great location
Check-in time was 3:00pm. The room was not ready when I arrived at around 4pm. If it's a normal day, it's not too big a deal. Unfortunately, it was extremely windy and rained like cats and dogs when I arrived. I was all wet when entering the room and found out the room was not ready. I took off my soaking wet sneakers and walked barefooted, feeling embarrassed, to the reception building to wait. Room not ready by check-in time in such a stormy and windy day was truly inconvenient to the travelers. I wish I could be notified ahead of time so to better use my time.
