Fantastic location & general feel - absolutely magical! The view was wonderful, looking out/up at the mountains. I think some other cabins may have had an even better view as they were closer to the water, our view was a little bit blocked by other houses. But it was still very good. We had one meal in the restaurant. It was good (my husband's dish very good), but very expensive, so we only ate there once. The staff was super friendly & service-minded, so kudos to them! Extremely nice to have a proper reception with real people...!!!

There could have been more lights in the kitchen/living room. It was a little dark to do the cooking & the kitchen could have been better equipped by some very simple means (garlic press, collander, cheese peeler etc).

The location is great. No view from my room. Just walk 2 minutes from the room and the view is great. There are full kitchen in the room, even the hotel's restaurant is great it is wonderful to do a simple dish like broiling vegetable for a changes. Also, the breakfast is wonderful.

The shower drain clogged at the first night when I took shower. After I reported to the reception, they fixed it next day. Thanks.

The location was extremely picturesque. We got one of the last rooms - a single over double bunk bed even though we booked six months early. We did get a partial view of the bay. The bed was comfortable. The site was very picturesque, nicely kept and well cared for. They had free electricity hookup for our electric car which made things a lot more simple for us. Had dinner at the Gammelbua restaurant (reserve before you arrive). Nice simple local menu with fish, lamb, etc - seems to be the staple for Lofoten menus! Breakfast not included with room charge - fine with us.

Would like three sets of towels for two days for two people. Also would like to have a refrigerator in the kitchenette. We had a refrigerator at other Lofoten hotel locations with kitchenettes. We are not really breakfast people. We do like to have real cream in our coffee (not the fake powdered stuff with all kinds of chemicals provided by the hotel).

Amazing view from accommodation over fjord. Wonderful location. Accommodation fully equipped with living room and kitchen etc. Nice warm bedding. Really wonderful place (only the small steps from front door to living area and again to top room are inconvenient for elderly people).

Very small steps from from door to living area and again to top rooms. Difficult for elderly to access and to carry luggage to room

Gorgeous cabin in amazing location. Views were incredible. So lovely to hear the water lapping against the shore from your bed. Great cafe next door with friendly, helpful staff.

Unfriendly and unhelpful reception. We didn’t have breakfast as would have been a plated meal given to us the night before to have in our room in the morning….not very appealing.

Super charming historic fisherman's cottage perched right out over the water with three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room

The second level bedrooms are better suited for younger children as opposed to adults and all bedrooms share just one bathroom on the first level .. Was very warm in the summer months .. portable fans would help a lot to provide as a guest amenity

It was a great adventure and everyone was very helpful . Even when the weather was unsettled there was always something to explore and photo . Will come again .

Next time I will try and get a cabin on its own . Sometimes the voices and noise of neighbours could be heard through the wall - but that is not a complaint it is just how thing are . I tend to think these people do not realise they can be heard . So perhaps you should put a notice in the cabins telling them to keep the noise level as low as they can .

To be honest I didn’t expected this place to be that great! During your staying, you basically live in the one of most iconic place of this country - fisherman’s houses. Everything inside is so authentic that you literally try to examine every detail of this hotel, from the windows of your room, to the houses in general. It’s also a great place if you like photography, not only due the big amount of beautiful places around, but also because the hotel itself looks incredible during the midnight sun.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Reine. The Rorbuers feel very authentic and ours was so cosy and comfortable. The heated floors in the entrance and bathrooms were very welcome. We enjoyed having our own balcony with a great view of the harbour and lucky for us, the Northern Lights.

Great location, breakfast was very good! Bed very comfortable.

Room was a little small and toilet position cramped, could have supplied some condensed milk pots to go with the coffee making facilities, but overall great location for a last minute booking, guess you are paying for location more than the room
