Nice outdoor area and pool, kind stuff. The beef tajine at dinner was delicious!!

Dirty room, very uncomfortable bed

Location was right at the dunes, so perfect. Pool was very cold, so could not use it, and the pool chairs were stained. Lanterns at night were not lit, so we had to ask them to turn them on. Staff was rather non existent, and slow to respond to messages, but we would stay there again because of the location at the dunes. They just need to be attentive to the outside lighting. Rooms were cosy and nicely decorated. Fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast.

There was construction at the hotel, but not intrusive. Pool was cold and chairs were stained. They charged us a full meal, even though we just had the soup, and we asked specifically about this before we ate, but noticed the charge after we left.

Nice pool view towards the Sahara Desert and decent breakfast.

No window curtains in the bathroom and people in the public balcony can see through the window.

Exceptional stay, this hotel is located right on the sand dunes in erg Chebbi, amazing location if you’re looking to stay in the desert. Camels from right outside the hotel, you can see them from the balcony. Pretty pool area, nice welcoming staff and breakfast.

It was all perfect! The lights were not on in the corridors at night though, it kinda felt there was no one else there so maybe staff could pay attention to turning lights on corridors when the sun sets.

This hotel was a well-deserved stop to relax in front of the desert. The view of the dunes from the pool is breathtaking! The hotel offers lunch and dinner, the food is really good and affordable, so you don’t need to go out in search of a place to eat. Very rich buffet of maroccan delicacy at breakfast. In addition, you don’t have to stress out to book a tour since the staff can arrange anything for you! It was also possible have a massage in the room.

Unfortunately, somebody stole some data and they tried to scam us! We informed the hotel but we got a late reply.. I outlined to pay more attention!

The hotel is perfect , situated inside the dunes !! First time i was in 2007 , second time now and i will stay there again. The stuff is very polite, Ahmet one of the owners if i dont mistake ,went with us to show us where the fossils are extracted, unbelievable experience,after that we went to Rissani Sunday market,, please dont miss it !! You arev transfered in another era !!!. He also went with us to a place where they make Barberian pizza,,, soo tasty and unique.They also organize for us quads for the dunes ,another unbelievable experience….Thanks for everything,, Spyros , Maria and Iliana

Best location by the dunes. Not many hotels have this perk. I particularly loved when I am at the pool, I order a drink usually freshly squeezed orange juice and then with my bathing suit step on the fine sand and have fun frolicking in dunes! awwwe. Best is the early morning camel ride to see sunrise from a high dune. It's even better than the sunrise we saw at the Bivouac because the sunrise is against dunes not the desert (which is the case when camels leave from Kanz Erremal hotel)! pretty awesome just make sure it s not cloudy in the forecast. Also, the food was AMAZING but it s a hit or miss depending on who cooks at the kitchen. We stayed 5 days, 3 days the food was awesome (yummy Moroccan tagines), the other 2 days it was ok but not as delicious. For the hotel rooms, ask for the newer rooms, they are better furnished. We also did other excursions to see the nomads and the oasis and it was fantastic!

The hotel is run like a small family business so don't expect much consistency and lower expectations in terms or standards ...after all it s Merzouga desert :) but it was still great great experience.

The location was perfect, the breakfast was great, the rooms were comfortable and most of all the staff were kind, friendly and accommodating.

The AC in the original room we booked for our family didn’t work. We mentioned this to them and they moved us to a different room which was fortunately available. The room was a fair bit smaller though and the price wasn’t reduced.

My one-night stay in this room was extraordinary. The spacious and tastefully decorated room, coupled with a stunning bathroom, provided a luxurious experience. Waking up to a surprise view of the Sahara Desert from the balcony was simply magical, especially with camels in sight. The option for both a great breakfast and dinner on-site was convenient, and the location amidst the dunes was perfect. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable desert experience.
