The room was very clean and convenient to the beach on one side and the other side of the room was a pool .. yay The room service was fantastic clean towels and cleaned up the kitchen Ty ..

Everything is just spread and out lot of walking in the heat to get to the other building and back of course I believe there should be a shuttle waiting ! The maps to get you to your destination need to be updated like the ‘spa’ a member of the staff show me where it was. To much walking around to enjoy the relaxing of a vacation No not again ..

Love all the activities the resort has to offer. Our Kids play on the inflatable, surf and enjoyed the direct access to the beach.

Staff actitivities weren't so helpfully specially at night time with smores activities.

The location of the property is excellent, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. One of those beachy souvenir stores and A 7-Eleven is right across the street for drinks and snacks. The rum fish resort is part of the tradewinds group so you get access to all resort buildings for activities and amenities. After a quick walk-through, I discovered that I did prefer rum fish, it was less crowded than the island grand, which is a much bigger building. They give you a weekly schedule when you check in so you know what’s going on, we only did the touch tank experience and the big beach slide, both were fun, beside that we spent our entire days on the beach,, but it seemed like it would be good for kids lots to do.

To be honest, I thought it was a little pricey to stay there. If you are just going for the beach like we did, and not going to take advantage of the amenities, you can get a better deal somewhere else. But if you have small kids and are going to be using all of those things, I guess it would make sense.

I liked the location. Being on the beach staff attentive to requests. We asked for an upgrade and received one foe a minimum amount there were few guests here during our stay but there was limited seating by the pool. Possibly this was because of the hurricane

The worst was finding a gratuity added to our drink bill at the beach. ( and we had added an additional tip) After that we had all our meals and drinks somewhere else. I think you should reconsider the sense of doing this. We didn’t spend additional money here not even coffees

The staff was great and the amenities were fantastic.

EDIT—I did email the resort and they gave me a refund for my parking fees. There was a miss at checkout on removing the charges. Thank you!! I booked this vacation in March and the hotel implemented a parking fee in June. I was charged over $200 for parking after speaking to front desk. I was told that only bookings prior to 3/9 were eligible to have parking fees waived. That makes ZERO sense. I booked our vacation 3/26! I will not book this resort again because of this. I don’t mind paying what I owe but I feel that added on fee after original booking was unfair.

The location thee pools access to the beach. The kitchenette. Accommodation for more than 4 in a room. Ease in booking adventure, i.e., parasailing. Restaurants were delicious. Free transport to area attractions. Swigwam on Corey Street is a must when at St. petes beach. Staff was so friendly.

The couch needs a new mattress on the pullout bed. Different bar tenders charged different gratuities when using the voucher from bluegreen. The gift shop closed early. Extra charge for extra cabanas and ax throwing, not included in the daily resort fee. Paddle boats needs more water, we grounds and got stuck for over 20 minutes

This has to be one of the best choices for my vacation. very friendly stuff the resort is absolutely amazing with mini golf, slides, five pools, amazing restaurant choices, music at night very clean beach. I was able to see the dolphins in my morning walk in the golf. It was very memorable the staff were very kind and friendly and they gave us a free upgrade. They constantly asked if we needed anything. And thank you to Booking.com. They left us multiple coupons for free drinks. I absolutely love this place. Very amazing. I’m definitely coming back.

The beds are a little soft

OMG!!! 5 Stars for the Breakfast and staff!! My family ate all our breakfast meals at the cafe, hostess's, Morgan, Denise (sorry those were the only names I could remember who waited on us) and all the other staff were EXCEPTIONALl!! Food EXCELLENT! Coffee-OUTSTANDING! We were very impressed as we have been coming down to St Pete beach for over 10 years and this was the first time staying at Rum Fish. Will definitely book again!

The main restaurant needs some work, our service was slow, had to wait for drinks, and were told we couldn't move a chair when we said we had 9 in our reservation. but other than that, it was fine. Room are large and roomy, however they need updating, bathrooms are a little beat up from all the traffic as well as furniture, however, we weren't in the room very much as we were on the beach have fun!

This property is huge! Tradewinds has two properties on the beach and you can use both of the hotels' amenities which we took advantage of. The water slide was SO much fun!! The beach chairs come with the resort fee ($55) but if you want the first row, you have to pay an extra $15. I booked the Garden Villa room and wasn't expecting a view but to my surprise, I had a gorgeous beach view! Although the hotel was busy (during Labor Day weekend), I did not hear ANY noises in my room and slept like a baby. Special thanks to Gia for taking extra time to show me around the property and giving me tips on how to best enjoy my time at the hotel. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking to relax at the beach!

Wish the pool was a little bigger but since there's a beach right in front of the hotel, I get why they kept it small. I usually drink margaritas and ordered one at the bar by the pool and it was pretty awful. Not sure how their other drinks are.
