retro decorating.

I didn’t that there wasn’t an ice machine on each floor. I was disappointed that we had to give up our lounge chairs at 5. we wanted to stay on beach in comfort to watch sunset etc and no chairs. we had to lug chairs out of our car in parking and carry them to beach. I also think every resort should offer complementary coffee from 6-9 for guests who rise early and want a cup instead of paying 5$.

The location, the staff, the view from the room’s balcony, the double king sized beds great for 4-guests, the closeness to the beach (although because of the unusual cold weather this Xmas season we weren’t able to enjoy the beach, pool nor amenities)

The pool and sun-bathing area are small compared to other beach resorts we’ve been to. The Spinners Revolving Restaurant is nice in terms of the view but the food wasn’t “wow” considering the prices. Also perhaps they’re understaffed during the holidays because every time we called Front Desk no one answered (never). If it wasn’t because we had the Concierge’s mobile who served as bridge via SMS, we wouldn’t have been able to contact the front desk unless you go downstairs to personally talk to them.

Great beachfront location. The hotel's dining options are good and comprehensive, both on the beach and on the building's top. Although the St. Pete Social café closes quite early (5pm), the Bongos bar has extended hours. The staff is very friendly.

The hotel has 2 elevators available for guests. One of them was out of service throughout my stay, causing a bottleneck for guest traffic. These vital services should have near-immediate maintenance/repair service, or the hotel should have a more effective contingency plan. The hotel, in general, is in good condition, although there are aspects that should be improved: the hallway carpet should be replaced, and the filters and air conditioning vents were visibly dirty. The rest of the cleanliness was okay. The beach service is good. The pool is a bit small when the hotel is at high occupancy.

Bellwether was a beautiful resort indoors and out, perfectly situated on the beach! The staff kindly treated us as friends upon our extremely late arrival. We had good conversation, he normally didn’t work night shift, but needed to fill in and was attentive, witty and informative. He even gave us tickets for a champagne tasting the next day! Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable night’s rest. The one thing I did not pack and I found almost peculiar was the perfectly packaged mini pack of q-tips in the bathroom, seldom if not ever have I had an item such as this already in the room where I didn’t have to call and request. Thought that was oddly mind-reading and downright thoughtful! The bed was comfortable, shower was hot, towels were clean and soft, room was overall pristine and smelled good. Complimentary water bottles were appreciated and enjoyed. Reserving a cabana was effortless, the young man on the beach was helpful in assisting setting up one for us in the front row. He also was kind enough to let us use a sunscreen that was left on the beach from a previous guest. The beach itself was perfect, good spacing from neighbors set up around us. Complimentary towels were aplenty and decent enough for the beach/pool. I suppose if they were any nicer, people would have a hard time giving them back! I also paid a visit to the little coffee bar that morning, the barista was pleasant, quick and the drink was delicious. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the view from the (almost) top floor, was STUNNING! 360 degree view of the beach and city… just breathtaking! This is simply the cherry on top of this hotel. Honestly the very reason why you should at least visit but no doubt stay. I’ve stayed at multiple hotels (got married at one in 2017) along this short coastline of StPB and I’m sad we didn’t stay here sooner!!

I’m not sure that there was anything I didn’t like!

modern and clean. the beach is also very close.

the gym is off the property and a small hike to get to. Also, the elevator can take quite some time to arrive during the busy hours like check out.

Spinners Rooftop Grill was amazing. Food was great and the slow spinning floor ensured you saw all of what St. Pete’s Beach had to offer.

Loved the complementary photo shot on the beach, but prices of packages should be disclosed. States you only have to purchase $35 worth, but that is only for 1 photo. Packages start at $199 and up. And they are just digital drops to your phone. A print out would have topped the cake. The photographer shots were amazing, lighting perfect and great poses just would have liked to know the price.

Perfect location for what we had planned for our break. Staff very helpful and friendly at check-in, whilst at the hotel and during check-out. Especially liked the fact the hotel opened directly onto the beach and cabanas and loungers (and towels) were provided for guests. The pool, with outside shower was also a plus. Being able to walk to restaurants/cafes and shops saved us having to keep using the car. Another definite bonus was the on-site parking, especially the underground car park which kept the car cool. Having a balcony was great; the sunsets were stunning. The room was well soundproofed as we rarely heard any of the other guests.

I can't say there was anything we disliked, but the room we stayed in could have done with a little TLC, as could some of the corridors. The complex next door had live entertainment each evening, but this finished at a reasonable hour.

My girlfriend and I stayed for one day , from June 3-4 . From the moment I checked in to the moment we checked out, we were treated very well by our concierge, Sean( spelling?) and staff! Sean even gave us a business card to Island Hoppers, a local shuttle service to a fun place downtown .They were prompt , professional , and very courteous! We took in the beautiful Sunset from the Rooftop Spinners Restaurant Bar & Grill ! when we returned from downtown , we informed Sean we are planning to jointly celebrate our birthdays in August and return to Bellwethers! He cheerfully encouraged us to contact him a week before our checkin and he would help with our stay! This was my first stay at Bellwether! My girlfriend had stayed on her own over 7 years ago . We are very much looking forward to returning in August!

Location fine. A little overpriced

Employees were functional but no enthusiasm. When I booked I didn't realize a resort fee but I paid $45 extra then when I checked in I wasn't told the resort fee would cover a clamshell. I was there early at 1 and kind of rude person told me I would be called when room ready but waited to after 3. No light bulbs in lamps. 1chair on Unpainted balcony, and robots at service desk. Just needs some personable people and lower prices

Fabulous location, and the rooftop bar where you can watch the sunset is soooo good

no housekeeping which for a beach hotel very quickly becomes problematic with sand in your room etc extremely shortstaffed in reception and the beach bar causing excessively long waits for food or drinks
