The beach and food/drink service on the beach were incredible. Room was comfortable and beachfront was well worth paying more for. Servers were exceptionally good. It had all sorts of options from kid friendly to more adult. A nice mix of activities

The restaurants associated with Royal Sands were hard to get into. You shouldn't have to get up at 8am on vacation to (maybe) get a dinner reservation. Bathrooms are small and dated. Time for an update. Prices look higher for next year so we are shopping around a bit.

The rooms were large and quiet. We lived the fact that there was no loud music at the beach and that there were sufficient beds everywhere although you had to reserve one early in the morning if you wanted a specific location. Food was great and with a large variety.

Not really the resort itself but just all the drunken Americans hanging around the pool bar. but I assume that is Cancun…..

A little outdated…

This hotel was amazing, the beach was beautiful, hotel rooms were clean and very spacious. I would've like for the pool bar to be open a little later that what it was. The hotel is only 20 min from the airport.

The resort is amazing. We enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have themed dinners and live music. Food is great and you have a lot of choices. The only disappointment we had was when we need to change rooms towards the end of our stay coz someone will be staying on our room. So why not have us in a room that is available for our whole stay? It is so inconvenient to pack and unpack in the middle of a vacation.

No where to go to after dinner in the restaurant. Sliders is too small and noisy. Need another bar area with lounge seats Why not convert sales area which takes up far too much space? Only two restaurants on site.

The resort was amazing, staff were friendly and kind, food was great. They have themed night dinners and live music performance.

The only complain I have is that we need to change rooms in the middle of our stay coz another couple will stay in our room. I made the reservations 6 months before, why couldn’t they plan this room assignments properly.

We had a great time at this resort! All inclusive was as advertised, no worries about food or drinks for family of 5! Used room service as well! Great view of resort, beach and ocean from our balcony, Amazing view without getting beachfront room! Celebrated the 4th of July there and was amazed at all the festivities and dinner party they had poolside to honor American Independence Day!! Meet a gentleman who said he comes there every 4th because of there amazing celebration!

We had to make dinner reservations which was understandable but could never get the reservation times we wanted! The last night we wanted to eat at one of the restaurants at another location that we haven’t been to yet! They wanted and up charge to dine there do to a special event!! What why we bought the all inclusive!! There was a hat vendor on location next to pool, would have thought we had some connection to resort being on site. I paid for a hat for him to make and bring back since he said he would be there all week, never saw again!! Rooms not bad at all, little outdated but we spent most of our times at the beach, pool or on the balcony

The room was in front of the pool, and with quick access to the beach. All the staff were very helpful. Our was a short stay but we enjoyed very much. I would recommend if you want to enjoy a tour, please reserve it in the hotel as they will provide accommodations for you and make it easier.

All in all our stay was great. The hotel has inside a market for your convenience, we opted for an All inclusive experience. Something that may feel odd is that even that is an all-inclusive package, we still need to review checks for every time we wanted to grab some meal or snack, and because they don't have an all the time snack bar it added some time if you want to grab a quick one.

Our initial room wasn’t satisfactory, no view of any sort & bad location. However Wilfredo kindly changed our room to with a pool view and 1st floor so no need for elevator waiting as we are 70* years old Seniors Also for the first time, after numerous trips to the Royal resorts, Islander, Caribbean, Haciendas & Sands, I got sick for 2 days from some food contamination since I ate here (as I got All-inclusive) maybe food wasn’t prepared well or cut up fruit not fresh or old? Not sure
