We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and loved the location and the fitness area. Pros: • The gym is fantastic, and there’s a great sauna and even a tennis court! • The rooms are always very clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. • The restaurant is amazing! We highly recommend booking both breakfast and dinner – everything was delicious. • The staff in the restaurant were excellent – very friendly and attentive.

• There were a lot of mosquitoes and spiders in the rooms on the lower floors. It would be nice to have some window screens since we couldn’t open the windows. On our last day, we saw a very large spider in our room, and as two women, we were quite scared. • We called the reception twice, asking for someone to help, but no one came even after an hour. This was very disappointing, and we ended up leaving the room much earlier than planned. • We understand it’s part of nature, but the staff should at least respond to guest requests in such situations.

Our apartment was so spacious with 2 bathrooms and one small kitchenette. It was perfect for me and my parents for our 3 nights stay. We were lucky to get the room at Building A1. So please make sure u inform the hotel if u have mobility issues as soon as u book the room. The Spa pool and sauna were really good. Please note that it will need 7 mins walk uphill from the nearest bus stop to the hotel if u don't have ur own car.

There is no elevator for every building. Only one elevator at the reception which can bring u down to the B level. Apparently the entire buildings are connected at B level.

Great family hotel with many activities and things to do like pool, tennis, ping pong, playground , beer garden etc. We stayed in an apartment with a kitchenette and enjoyed our breakfasts in the nice eating nook. Nice views of mountains, big balcony. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay!

Expensive breakfast so we never bothered to buy the hotel breakfast. The place was a bit dated and needed upgrades. The room was not comfortable for a family of four with a sofa bed in living room which meant we had no sitting area.

Breakfast, reception with the magnificent Christmas tree is just stunning. Loved the chocolate santas on arrival (we arrived on 6th December which is a day of early Christmas celebration in Germany). the hotel has a lovely "old world" feel to it as it must have felt when one first travelled to Europe on holiday - it even has real keys which is nowadays a novelty

This was our second visit and last year we loved the swimming pool - this year disappointment - the water was much colder too cold for us to swim Rooms very hot and had to have window open - not ideal in December

The location of the hotel is certainly a plus. It is slightly outside Garmisch but it is still well accessible even with public transportation. The Partnachklamm is 10 minutes by walk. There are also nice walking trails around the hotel region. The staff is very friendly.

There is a city tax which has to be paid on top of the price you see on booking.com. It is 3€/person/night and the hotel provides free day passes for the public transport in Garmisch. If you have a car/Deutschlandticket then it is not so useful. The kitchen in the apartment was not open when we checked in. It was only available a day after.

Leon at the front desk was great! Explained everything during check in/out with a smile! The hotel grounds were very pretty with the Biergarten out back. Cute playground for the kids. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony to relax on. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. So much to choose from and delicious. Staff was very pleasant and restaurant was spotless. Underground tunnels connecting rooms with pool/spa/gym were quite interesting. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the amenities. Location was on the edge of town close to Olympic Park.

Underground parking spaces were very tight.

I recently stayed at this charming mountain hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. The traditional-style furniture added so much character and perfectly complemented the rustic mountain setting. The view was absolutely breathtaking, with rolling hills and serene landscapes right outside my window. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming, making the stay even more special. This hotel is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape to the tranquility of nature while enjoying authentic, traditional hospitality. Highly recommend!

The apartment was very nice, with amazing view over the city, I liked the bed, the bedsheets, the bathrooms, good natural ventilation in the rooms, the rooms were warm (we stayed in December), the food in the breakfast and dinner buffet was really amazing!

Female staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about how to get to the ski-slopes, what to prefer, introduced the city map, etc, male staff should get more training on how to make visitors feel that they are welcomed, we felt that we are disturbing them with our questions. Spa facilities could be updated a bit. Location is not central, most people travelled with cars, the city bus goes only 1x per hour, so connections to ski lifts are not great if you are relying on local transport.

The breakfast is very nice, the rooms are a bit old-fashioned (90's style) but also comfortable and charming. It takes a day to navigate the underground floors of the hotel, but once you know your way around it's really charming, and the view is simply breathtaking!

We arrived after a long ride and just wanted to park and check-in. As the place is big and not 1 central building it was a bit hard to get to our room, also, we discovered that the big family suites are all on the 3rd floor without an elevator. It was harsh, but when I complained the staff made an extra effort to make us feel better and you could tell they took it seriously and made an effort - making the stay truly wonderful!

The room was really big and clean. We stayed in the room with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 2 bathrooms. There was plenty of space for 5 people. Location wise it is right at the entrance to the town of Garmisch Partenkirchen, and it takes 10-15 minutes walking from the hotel to Ludwig Strasse.

If it is raining then to get to the room might require a lot of walking and stairs, as we went through the underground tunnel. Not all of the staff can speak english which makes it a little confusing when asking for directions and suggestions, and checking in.
