I’ve never stayed any where like this. It would be great to stay here a few days. Every thing with booking team is done by text, email messages. Lodge is suitable for person to be independent/self sufficient looking after them selves. Fridge and kitchen stocked with essentials.Kitchen area and large dinning /sitting room area very clean and comfortable also.I’ll definitely stay again.I’d love to know if a second lodge like this is available anywhere else. I’d also like to know what type of beds they were. I’d look into buying one. It was like sleeping on a cloud.
Woken at 8am by other people making breakfast. We didn’t get to bed until 2. But it still felt like a home environment sounds also a bit comforting.

Atlantic Lodge exceeded our expectations. Located in the heart of Ardara town, we meet Laura's Dad who showed us to our room which was clean and warm. To gain access to the building and to the room you had codes, everything felt safe and secure. Our room had two comfy beds (Double & Single) with ensuite. The breakfast was self-service, but the array of foods was outstanding. There was loads to select from, you could not go hungry, plus a lovely large dining area with wide screen tv which our son loved. We cannot recommend Atlantic Lodge B&B enough, Laura and family are doing wonderful work and running a fantastic business. We will certainly be back. Thank you.
There was nothing to dislike, perfect all around.

Easy to find, good location, enough street parking nearby. Modern decor in the spacious room, tea and coffee station outside of the rooms to help your self whenever you wanted. No need to commit to a breakfast time, just help yourself when you want. No staff around, just sort yourself out. Useful touches like the provision of earplugs, although the street outside was not noisy, one could hear the occupants of neighbouring rooms. The host was very helpful with suggestions as to where to eat and things to see in the area.
The self service cold breakfast was a good idea although it was a bit awkward with families with children as the kitchen space was crowded and people were getting in each other’s way looking for cutlery, trying to figure out how to cook an egg in the microwave, stacking the dishwasher etc. Despite the block out blinds, there was still a lot of light coming through from streetlights right outside, an issue for those who need darkness to get to sleep.

We received a warm welcome on arrival and were shown to our room. The whole place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Our room was very comfortable and there were sitting rooms available with comfortable chairs. Breakfast was a help yourself affair with an excellent choice of cereals, cold meats etc. The fridge was well stocked with berries, yoghurt and juices. Would highly recommend.
Ardara is a small town, the B&B was right in the centre. However, when we were there, there were only two restaurants open in the evening. There were some takeaways, but not everything was open every night.

Property was very clean, and kitchen/dining area had plenty of food and drink choices. Location couldn’t be better, literally in the town centre. Entire booking process was very simple and easy, and it was handled very professionally by the host. (Hotel doesn’t have staff, you get a key to unlock main entrance door and your room door, you get all the details from host after you make your reservation)
Can’t say that there was anything that I didn’t like. Maybe noise isolation could have been bit better as I was able to hear some other guest snoring, but to be fair, considering how loud he was snoring I don’t think any isolation in the world would help, so nothing really to blame the property :D

I have stayed at the Atlantic Lodge many times in the Beautiful Village Of Ardara, County Donegal, Ireland many times since October 2021. Every time I stay at this Fabulous Lodge. It is no different then my first time. Upon booking your stay. You will get all the information pertaining to the Lodge. When you are getting close to your check in. The Proprietor’s will make sure you have all the proper information and the room you are staying in. A beautiful heart warming message will be sent to you. The Atlantic Lodge is centrally located in the beautiful village of Ardara. You will have no problems finding it. Upon entering the Atlantic Lodge from the street. You will be taken into a different world. The Proprietors Thomas, Anne, Laura and Sarah take a lot of pride in the Atlantic Lodge. You get that feeling as soon as you enter the property. The rooms are so modern, clean and have modern updated features. The Bathrooms all have shampoos and body wash. The products are all from Ireland. Beautiful Carpeted Floors, Comfortable Beds, Beautiful Linens, Bed Side Tables, Tables and amazing Televisions in all the rooms. The Atlantic Lodge has amazing kitchen areas. You can help your self to a great selection of teas, Coffees, cereals, yogurts, Breads, and cold meats. The Kitchen has modern kettles, Microwaves, Refrigerators, and toasters. The Atlantic Lodge has an amazing sitting room and dining area also. Amazing Wide Screen Television also down stairs. The Owners always make their guests feel so very Welcome. The Atlantic Lodge as stated in the above in centrally located in the beautiful village of Ardara, County Donegal, Ireland. Very close to super markets, restaurants, Pubs and a Pharmacy. I highly recommend visiting the local church if you are researching your family’s history in the area. The Atlantic Lodge has CC TV Cameras and great security features on the property to keep their guests safe. Great Fire Safety Features on the property also.
No Dislikes at all. Everything is always perfect.

The building and rooms are new, spacious, very clean and have all you need for a short stay including shampoo, body wash, hairdryer etc. Easy to access the front door and the room via a code sent in a welcome message in good time before arriving. It was easy to park outside on the road in April. The included contact info and local services was useful. The shared kitchen and breakfast area are well stocked for breakfast with tea, coffee, juices, cereals, bread, cheese and ham slice. The sitting area would be good to sit in if you decided to get a takeaway for dinner (no food or drink allowed in rooms for good reason), escape a bit of wet weather, or sit and read for a bit.
Bed and pillows were a bit hard but that's personal preference - there was a spare pillow available. In the morning we couldn't find the teabags, we also weren't sure how to use the coffee machine, or which bins took which type of recycling - so instructions would be helpful. There weren't enough eggs for everyone using the breakfast room that morning. For the ground floor, I would expect to see a security lock on the window so it can left open for air overnight, but that was lacking.

Met on arrival, friendly host. Good sized room (family sized booked). Perfectly situated for local walks, bars and places to eat. Breakfast was excellent, self service in your own time and good variety including gluten free bread. Communal coffee / tea area on upper floor was convenient.
Street facing room with single glazing meant noise from vehicles and folk leaving bars. People in adjacent rooms also audible. Conscious that making coffee in upper floor communal area would disturb other guests.

Liked everything the staff facilities the rooms omg was just fab it was like a stylish boutique hotel. As it was continental self-service, there were loads of breakfast food to choose from. So clean so welcoming we are definitely going back and we have done so much recommending of this place to loads of people. For a small town of Ardara little did we think when I booked it that it was going to be this nice 💯 award to The Atlantic lodge.

Lovely room on first floor with super comfy bed and excellent shower. Everything you would need. Kettle +facilities outside door for tea and a fridge. TV, hairdryer, lovely lighting. Good breakfast options downstairs with great spaces to relax. In terms of location it was excellent. Few doors down to Pat's Beehive bar for some great bluegrass music, not far from Eddie Dohertys tweed(master weaver) shop to buy our scarves and a short drive away from the lovely Maghery caves. A great stop indeed along the wild Atlantic way. Two happy travellers. .
We liked everything. Nothing to dislike. Met Thomas the owner who was very helpful. Keypad entry system very easy to use.
