The venue itself is really lovely. Bright, clean & welcoming. Newly decorated. The owner was really friendly, polite & helpful. We enjoyed a few giggles & conversations. The breakfast was amazing. The best quality English breakfast we have ever had. Good quality local sausage & bacon, fresh tomatoes & mushrooms, tasty scrambled eggs, blackpudding, fried toast, fresh regular toast, choice of 3 jams, marmalade & butter, fresh orange juice, tea or coffee. Our room number 3 had just been redecorated & included one of the turrets in which the comfortable seating & a large flat screen TV was. Great shower ensuite, kettle & hot drinks items. The hotel has a lovely garden area, with plants, flowers, tables & areas to lock up your bikes. It'd also gated so safe for families. The hotel is on a corner where the streets are quiet & easy to park. There is a small 4 car space car park to the back of the building as well. We are looking forward to visiting again in September.

It was a little disappointing to be told we were unable to have food outside of the breakfast because the kitchen was closed until the end of June. This was because of staffing & out of the main season. Once the kitchen is open from the end of June I'm sure you will enjoy fantastic food. The breakfast was definitely an 11/10! I really don't think the other meals would differ in quality.

Very friendly and helpful owners. We arrived like drowned rats after a very wet day on the South West coast path but were made to feel very welcome. Although the kitchen wasn't open (they are aiming for June), we were pointed in the direction of nearby fish & chips and they provided us with plates, cutlery etc - and we could buy excellent beer from their bar. Plus we had the added attraction of a darts match as entertainment! Nice big room and excellent traditional cooked breakfast.

The location is good for South West coast path so suited us, but is a 20-30 minute walk from Weymouth harbour and most of the restaurants/facilities (note - this is exactly how it is described so I'm not complaining!) In our room, the (small) shower cubicle was in a separate cut-out from the sink/toilet on opposite sides of the room.

All reviews I leave are relevant to value for money. In Weymouth you will find it difficult to find parking at many hotels, guest houses and rented apartments so this place represents great value although a little away from all of the attractions. The host is very friendly and they do a great breakfast here. We were here looking at property so this was a handy location with bonus parking

Great value so if I was paying the same money as premier Inn then you could do things better but overall we were more than happy

Excellent location just off the Rodwell Trail linking Weymouth and Portland. Number 1 bus runs from the top of the road. Very welcoming hotel, part has been refurbished and there are further plans being made. Watch out for the turret room which will be amazing when completed! Room basic ,but comfortable. Breakfast has a good choice and served at the time you specify. The price was very reasonable, making my 2 night stay good value

The bar appeared to close early, so no night-cap. Restaurant not due to open until June

Very welcoming, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Loved the decor , value for money, food was divine. We will most definitely will be back as a couple and bringing our children if possible. Will be our place to stay when visiting Weymouth and surrounding areas. Thank you

Only tiny thing I can think of, is that I would have liked an extra pillow. Tbf I'm sure if I asked they would have accommodated. That's all I can think off!

We loved our stay at the hotel, we were met with a warm welcome that continued throughout our stay. Absolutely perfect for anyone walking the SouthWest Coastal Path, very easy to get onto the Isle of Portland the bus stop is very close and a really tasty fish and chip shop at the top of the road, just what we needed after walking around the Island all day. Very clean and tidy and nice breakfast, would definitely recommend.

Everything was fantastic, Diane is lovely and seems happy to help with anything. The breakfast is lovely and I've never had my bacon look like a dinosaur. Location is great as you are not to far from town, but far enough to having a quiet night sleep.

The only thing myself and my girlfriend didn't enjoyed was the bed. A little uncomfortable and the bed is a small double. You be sleeping on the edge...

Di was a wonderful host - friendly, welcoming, helpful and informative. The breakfast she cooked was amazing and was a definite 10/10. The locals in the pub are friendly and worth chatting to for their interesting and funny stories. The town centre is about a 15/20 minute walk - easily accessible on foot and there is much to see in the town.

Nothing - everything was great for us.

Plenty to choose from for the breakfast, you selection the time, what you wanted, a selection of drinks including decaff coffee was good. If you wanted to change any thing you had to let them know by 8pm the day before. One of the best systems I've used, no computers just a simply form.

The off street parking was a little small, but after talking to the owners I understand why, the pillows on the beds were a bit soft but that's the same where ever we go. Didn't let this bother us as we usually take our own pillows.

Lovely spacious room very well presented and really clean. A very nice area near the Rodwell trail and Castle Cove Beach, just a 5 minute walk away. The breakfast was excellent and we also had a meal on one evening which was just as good. Very friendly owner and would definitely stay here again when in Weymouth.
