Hotel is beautifully decorated, modern and spotlessly clean. Staff are very welcoming, helpful, friendly. Very comfortable rooms/beds...well equipped with kettle, hairdryer, tv etc. Food was excellent with a great selection. Full cooked ulster breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal in the restaurant. Handy location to Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, Portrush etc We had a lovely relaxing stay and would certainly recommend! Special thanks to Louise and Eileen...was lovely to meet you both

We opted for this place, as it was in walking distance to the Giant's Causeway and totally redecorated. We are very happy with our choice: Reception, lounge, restaurant, bar and rooms are very cosy. Comfy bed. Massive room ("No. 3 Bushmills") with a double bed and a single (I could have opened a dozen suitcases there all at the same time). Especially liked the excellent cooked food at breakfast (recommendation is Pancakes or Eggs Benedict with Salmon) as well as during the evening meals (recommendation is e.g. the monkfish) in a 4* quality. The staff has always been very helpful and extremely friendly (Thank you!). Very quiet during the week for a relaxed stay and great during Saturday nights to meet great new people (to make you laugh the entire night - thank you if you read this!) and enjoy the live music. Free parking on site and in view, where there has always been a parking space available for us, independent of our arriving time. I wish we could have stayed longer. Need to come back. ;)

Excellent location for exploring Giants Causeway which was our main reason for visiting. The room was: well stocked, nice view of the ocean, good shower, comfortable beds, enough room for all our stuff as we were doing a bit of a road trip and everything just felt very nice. We spent more time in the bar and lounge than intended as we arrived in very poor weather and decided not to go out that evening but it was lovely to have a few drinks and look at the view, do a bit of sketching, play some card games etc. We also ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was absolutely wonderful at both meals. In the morning, had the weather been perfect, we would have walked from the hotel all the way to the causeway (about 40 minutes to get down to the stones and maybe a bit longer back as it would be uphill) but we drove to the local car park instead. Checkout time is comfortably late so you could do it early in the morning and get back for check out if you need to.

Nothing, it was ideal for our needs.

The hotel is modern, bright and beautiful. The whole place was spotless clean and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble from the dark haired girl who I think may have been the manager (sorry I didn’t get names which was very ignorant of me), the two lovely housekeepers and the young man who served us in the restaurant whose manners were impeccable… he is a credit to your business!! The food was to die for and there was a huge menu for both breakfast and dinner to choose from so big thumbs up to the chefs! I’m looking forward to returning soon.

The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows but I think it’s down to personal preference and you can’t please everyone.

Very nice place, clean, comfortable, quiet and it had a restaurant and a bar, both of which were very good. Our room was on the 1st floor, there is no lift but it's easy to walk up and down the stairs. Breakfast was good with a choice of hot meals. Overall a nice hotel, we stayed two nights, and one that I would recommend....especially if you have a car.

It is located about a half mile out of Bushmills but on a narrow road without a sidewalk so it feels and is precarious. Also it's a mile walk on another narrow road to Giant's Causeway. There is a great bus (the 402 I think) that stops nearby so if you can catch it (you pay on board depending on where you are going) then it makes the walk far less scary.

Check in was a breeze. We watched the sunset over the ocean from our room. Dinner and breakfast were both great. We ordered breakfast from the menu. The service and staff were top notch. Staff recommended a shop for us to visit in town so we could get a charger for our phone to plug into in the car. Bed was comfortable and the room was very large. Great location that is near Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge, Bushmills Distillery, and Dunluce Castle.

We had to ask for the hot water to be turned on. They recently received a new system, so they were still figuring it out. Once they turned it on the water was hot and we were good.

Hotel and decor really good. Comfortable setters and chairs. Lovely staff especially Stuart who seemed to be everywhere at once and always so polite and treated everyone the same. Definitely a well trained member of staff Love a proper breakfast. Pet have is a buffet breakfast, it's fine for cereal etc but not for cooked food

Stupid looking electric fire stuck in corner of lounge. Absolutely no need for it. A real fire in winter would be lovely. We didn't use it but tv in bedroom in a bad place. Another thing stuck in a corner. Someone really likes to make the most of corners 😃

Received a nice welcome and the staff continued to be helpful and friendly. The hotel has been renovated and is now modern and fresh looking. The restaurant is also modern and bright and has a good selection of food and drinks which are reasonably priced.

No lift, bath with overhead fixed shower which was either full power or nothing. I didn’t mark the hotel down as I could have asked if another room was available but I don’t like creating a fuss. If I book again I will ask for a room with a walk in shower.

The staff are marvellous (they are both incredibly efficient and friendly, a hard balance to strike); the rooms are spacious and exceedingly comfortable, spotless and fresh feeling; and the restaurant and breakfast menus were full of choice and the food itself was delicious. Secondly it was extremely fortuitous for us and especially for one of our group who was very sadly taken ill. The staff, Louise, (the manager), and Bethany in particular were beyond brilliant. They were calm, knowledgeable, gently persistent and kind and managed us through a difficult situation and even organised for Bethany to take our friend the 10 miles to hospital. Without wishing to sound too dramatic they played an absolutely key role in ensuring our friend got the treatment he needed. Without them he might have soldiered on with catastrophic results. Six days later he was discharged from hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

Nothing!

If you're visiting the Giants' Causeway or driving around Northern Ireland / Ireland, this should be a serious contender for your business. A warm, beautiful haven in an often rainy and cold if starkly beautiful place, Gray's was a delight when we got there on a very drab afternoon. The room was huge, the facilities new and clean, and the restaurant served us well-prepared fish that probably came from just miles away. And while the wind howled outside and the ocean foamed wildly within view of our windows, we were happy to be inside in a nice (and truly vast) room. You will be, too.
