The hotel is close to great biking roads. The hosts were very friendly and did all they could to be helpful.
This is NOT the hotel's fault but there are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. After a day of riding, something more substantial than a take-a-way is required but Corwen has nothing. This was disappointing to find out after we had booked and paid in advance as insisted upon by booking.com.

Downstairs, the decor reflects the history of the building; upstairs this former coaching inn's bedrooms have been completely modernised, making for a most comfortable stay. My hosts were very welcoming, and had thoughtfully provided biscuits on the tea and coffee tray in my room. The room and ensuite were spotlessly clean, I had a very comfortable bed, and the towels were generously sized and fluffy! The continental breakfast had plenty of choice, including Greek yoghurt (my favourite!), and the coffee was good. Corwen is an interesting place - I had only ever driven through before on my way to Eryri, but I am glad to have spent the weekend here, exploring the Berwyn range of hills and the 13th century church in the town.
Nothing really!

Wow! This little b&b far exceeded our expectations. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to a lovely comfortable and very clean room. The gentleman was kind and polite and gave us great advice about where to eat. My daughter and I were tired from our Snowdon hike and were relieved that we had booked such a lovely room with soft and comfortable beds. We loved reading all about the history of the coachhouse in the ledger! The breakfast in the morning was very nice and we were even given a breakfast doggy bag to see us right for our journey back to London. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this b&b.
Nothing! It suited us perfectly.

The hotel offers a delightful stay with clean rooms and friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure guests are comfortable. While some have commented on the breakfast, it includes a hearty full English option. As a small business, they are mindful of waste, but the staff is very accommodating if you need anything additional. Overall, a pleasant experience. We stayed in the one bed apartment
We don't have complaints

The beds are clean and comfy. There is plenty of storage space. The breakfast options though limited is actually filling. The eggs and toast are made fresh to order. Toiletries include towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo. There is also a kettle, microwave and coffee-tea supplies.
Parking space availability is limited. However the owners tried to help us out as much as they could.

We had a fantastic stay at the Crown Hotel. It's a historic and charming place, the rooms were warm and super clean, and the beds were super comfy. One of our bookings was the Studio Apartment and I was pleasantly surprised at how big both the rooms were and that they both had ensuites. Breakfast was nice and the staff are all very lovely and welcoming. Corwen itself is small and quiet but there are a few restaurant options for dinner and a lovely Estate and farm shop very nearby. Will definitely stay here again when visiting North Wales!

Superior studio was spacious with 2 separate bedrooms (both with their own ensuite) and a kitchenette. High standards of cleanliness throughout. Huge fluffy towels and a nice big king bed in one of the bedrooms. Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff.
The shower pinch in one of the bathrooms was broken so you had to hold the shower head. Also there was a fan in the room which would have been great since it was quite warm in the room but could only be used on highest speed. It therefore made so much noise that we couldn't use it during the night.

The breakfast was excellent and more than I expected. The room had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. The person in charge was very polite and eager to please.
There was sufficient parking on the night I stayed but perhaps it was inadequate on a busier night. The staircase was narrow and steep. Fortunately, I am still fit enough to walk up it - but it is a historic hotel so the staircase was part of its character.

Context: Stayed here in Mar-2023 with my wife to break up a Friday evening journey deeper into Wales Positives: Super friendly staff; even called me twice during the day to check that travel was going okay during a snowy spell. Comfortable, clean room. Continental breakfast was welcome. Pub seemed really nice but we arrived late and left early so didn't get a chance to fully experience it. Corwen's nice.
Negatives: It was a cold night (BBC national news focused on somewhere only a few miles up the road as being uncommonly cold) and we should have asked for a blanket. Things to watch for: Restaurant gets busy apparently - they were done serving by the time we arrived but I suspect might not have had space for us anyway. Parking takes a little coordination. Shower temperature waved up and down.

Staff were lovely, room was nice, ok size, clean and tidy! Bed was very comfortable. Very close to Plas Isaf, where I attended a wedding. Back access for late arrival aswell which was ideal. The breakfast was lovely.
Not what I expected, the halls were like walking through a fun house and had low ceilings. The bar wasn't in use.
