Quiet, remote location with outstanding garden and views of the surrounding area. Although remote, it is still easy to navigate to. The level of service from all the staff is simply perfect, and they are all an asset to the service. The attention to detail in the rooms outshines any other hotel I've stayed in. Complementary water, biscuits, selection of coffees and teas, fresh milk, mini bar with reasonably priced items. Robes, slippers, and toiletries were a lovely addition, as was the floor standing fan. As a fellow chef, the evening meal was one of the best meals I have ever eaten.
2 small points to make. TV signal is not great. In room 1, there was a vibrating noise that sounded like it was coming from a boiler when taps were turned on.

I stayed here at the last minute as my booking at Glyn Valley Hotel was cancelled the day before I was due at a wedding which was rather stressful, anyway this hotel was fabulous I received a warm welcome, they squeezed me in for dinner at the time I wanted which was absolutely delicious the lanb shank oooh yeah it was good. super comfy bed, with proper duck pillows etc slept like a baby, the french press for fresh coffee was especially nice touch for a coffee snob like me! the breakfast was really good section of yoghurt fruits, and cooked dishes, adapted an egg dish for me too. portions sizes are huge. nothing was too much trouble here and you can tell that the staff are looked after and genuinely happy to help. Alan the owner was especially nice and let me have a free late check out when I woke up poorly and wasn't upto the long drive home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
-not a negative just It is off the beaten track don't use sat nav and follow the hotels instructions unless you have a 4x4

We so enjoyed our stay here and it was a wonderful experience in everyway. The inn is in a lovely quiet country location which suited us and the staff at the inn were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and the best we have ever had anywhere and compliments to the chef for his excellent food as we were spolied for choice. The ladies serving breakfast were delightful too. The evening meals were a delight too and really loved the ambience in the dining expereince and the music was nice and peaceful and relaxing (not like in some places where it is loud and offensive) and the food was great and so were the young staff who served us. We loved also the extra treats provided free like the biscuits and shortbread and mineral water etc. and the thoughtful touches of slippers etc. We will definitely return here and will stay longer next time and one night really was not long enough.

Though we only stayed for 1 night on our way back from Snowdonia, we've had the most lovely experience at The Mulberry Inn and wished we could spend more time there! The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of hot and buffet options (including a glass of Prosecco!), made even more special by the charming staff. The bed was super kingsized and very comfortable - we've had a great night of sleep. Definitely would visit again.
The windows in our room were left open prior to our arrival which left some bugs and flies in our room. The bar/evening dining area was playing BBC Radio 1 which didn't feel appropriate for the quaint and quiet setting of the hotel & restaurant.

This is a gem of a place. We had a 2 night stay, dinner and bed and breakfast, and i can honestly say we had a perfect experience. The staff are wonderful and friendly. They make the place really special. The room was large and welcoming with a huge comfy bed. After checking in we were given a gift pack for our little dog. A bowl for him to use, a towel and some treats and a tennis ball. We thought this was a lovely touch. The food here definitely deserves a mention. It was top notch. Great choice of evening meals and breakfasts. It’s the little attention to detail such as the offer of a freshly made smoothie at breakfast which gives this place a really polished edge on customer service. Needless to say we will definitely be back for another stay.

Lovely friendly welcome from every staff member we met . The property is in a beautiful area and it is very well presented. The room even though advertised as a ‘cosy double ‘ was perfectly big enough and had everything one could possible need . The tea/coffee tray and mini bar was stocked with plenty of choice and very welcomed added treats …best we’ve ever come across !! Iron and iron board was a great touch . Breakfast was fantastic too !!
This property would have got 10 out of 10 from us but on entering our room there was a slight fusty smell which at the time didn’t bother us too much as we just dropped our bags and left for the festival we were attending. Though once we returned late evening it was much stronger , once in bed I was having to cover my nose as it seemed to be very strong in the corner near me . We did report this when checking out though we both felt the staff member had heard this before !!

I saw the Mulberry Inn had good reviews, I booked it because of those reviews, but it still totally surprised me by how lovely it was; beyond all expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious, our room was massive and well appointed with some complimentary extras thrown in. Its not just dog friendly hotel, but dog enthusiastic; including a dog care package in the room and the offer of a sausage and water for breakfast in the small dining room set aside for those wanting to eat with their 4 legged companion's. The location is beautiful and a perfect remote spot for exploring the surrounding countryside.
I'm sure if you looked closely you'd find problems. Just don't, it's a lovely place and deserves to be enjoyed.

Our bedroom was large, clean and very comfortable. The views are beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of interesting options and the service at breakfast by the team If ladies enhanced the experience.
We had a good offer for B&B thanks to Booking’s Genius scheme, but we found the dinner pricing a little odd with little variation between dishes. It seems a good idea but the vegetarian main course options were the same price as the meat ones - a fairly uniform £22. Vegetarian options should be cheaper unless of exceptional standard. I was shocked when I looked at my souvenir photo of the menu to see that I had paid £10 for the “pan-fried scallopS” as I had been served a single scallop. If I had realised at the time I would have complained.

Just returned from our second visit to the Mulberry Inn and, yet again, it was an absolute delight. We were accompanied by our dog 'Monty' and made to feel very welcome by the cheerful and friendly staff. The breakfasts are legend and we enjoyed delicious evening meals in a convivial atmosphere in the bar. The rooms are clean, spacious and very well equipped, including a welcome pack for your dog. You will need a car to make the most of the location but there are plenty of dog walking options radiating out from the hotel. As Arnie might say .... "I'll be back".
