huge property, basically it’s a huge little town of resorts all along the sea and with access to the marina . you have a lot of entertainment inside . you’ll have time to explore , very good value for the price, you’re literally on the beach and with all inclusive you can eat and drink basically all day

even though the staff tried to be incredibly helpful, always tried to accommodate me in anyway, the hotel workers were a bit annoying during the day, they’d come up to me in the pool and in the beach every 5 min trying to get me to go to the spa ( extra charge) or in some sort of excursion, I was with my headphones and sunglasses reading a book and they still come to you , very pushy . but the reception always helped me with anything I needed. the biggest down point for me however was the wi fi situation. there’s Wi-Fi in all the hotel but basically doesn’t work , just for texting, most of the things don’t open, in a country where most people are tourists and don’t have their own internet

Amazing resort for the price, cleanliness and the staff were way above expectations. They went out of their way to make sure we get an early check-in since we had a very early flight, and the whole experience was flawless.

Not much to say here, but perhaps only the food is not quite up to european standards. Don't get me wrong - the choice is huge and there is nothing wrong with the food, but for example the "beef steak" dinner is not based on a real steak but on a bit inferior piece of meat. And then similarly for everything else. The preparation is flawless, the ingredients could be on a bit higher level.

the structure is very large and located in a privileged position directly on the sea and a few steps from Port Ghalib. It offers everything you could wish for during a holiday. There are many restaurants with a good selection of food suitable for international customers. The staff is all helpful and courteous considering the large number of guests present. We would like to thank in particular Mr. HAITHAM, customer service representative, who has always been very helpful in particular with my mother who is 88 years old and disabled, and also speaks several languages ​​well including Italian and English, he stood out for his education and great availability. Alcohol shall be prohibited or limited to specific places and times, it make us nervous to find people drinking alcohol everywhere and times More activities (as diving) shall be included or organised by the hotel to avoid scamming. Reaching the hotel from the bus stop or leaving the hotel shall be easier and more organised, we waited long time for Taxi. Need more parties and activitiesfor Egyptians, most parties are directed for foreigner.

The hotel includes 3 hotels: Sands,Oasis and Palace, so its territory is realy big as well as beautiful and very well maintained. We have spend 2 weeks there so could appreciate it enough. Dinners were great, a wide choice of food, very tasty beef, duck, turkey , fish and even prawns. Local wine is also good. And for lovers to eat a lot and a varied food a local mild anise tincture is offered at the end of dinner. Like in the best houses. The hotel beach is also nice. We were also pleased that piers for entering in the sea is nor very long. Coral reef is beautiful as well as everywhere in Marsa Alam, so you can enjoy swimming with a mask and fins. The entire territory of the hotel is stretched along the beach, so it is not far from any room to go to the beach. And one more plus: Port Ghalib - a nice bay with the shops, cafe and restrants - is very close , so the hotel guests can choose a day to enjoy their visit to Port Ghalib. I would like to note especially the friendliness of the staff moreover wherever you are on the beach , in a restaurant or at the reception. We were first given a room with a sea view but on the ground floor and it smelled a bit damp, so we asked to change a room. And were given a nice room on the first floor as well with a sea view. Among the top managers I would like to highly appreciate front office manage Ahmed Abdel Hafiez. We turned to him on various issues which he was ready to solve. My daughter plays and improvises on the flute so we asked Ahmed to organize her perfomance at the hotel. As there are three beautiful stages to perform there. It was a great pleasure for my daughter to play flute there and we hope that it was a pleasure for hotel guests to listen her. Ahmed Abdel speaks perfect English so it was pleasant and easy to communicate to him.

The room was nice as well as the beds. But we prefer pillows to be better. More fresh fruit for breakfast maybe even freshly squeezed juices

The hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations! The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern, with a walk-in shower. The food at the several restaurants was amazing, with plenty of different options. There were plenty of pools at the hotel, one of them with seawater and another with water slides + lazy river. At the beach, which was right in front of the hotel, you could see beautiful coral reefs with plenty of different fishes so take your snorkeling gear with you! Overall it's a wonderful place to rest for a few days without worrying about much and having several options to distract yourself.

Although the staff was nice overall we both got irritated at the amount of times staff at the restaurant, when having breakfast, lunch or dinner, asked us for spare change. Same happened with the room cleaning service... Even after we tipped the guy... It makes you think if employees are really nice or do they all have second intentions and see guests as a money bag! I would happily tip if I genuinely liked the service but basically begging for money is very inconsiderate towards us. Even with this we would totally come back to pickalbatros don't get us wrong. It's just something to watch out for.

Beach: Beautiful beachfront area. Lagoon: Picturesque lagoon setting. Food: The meal timings are perfect, offering late breakfast and late dinner every day. Staff: Well-trained and attentive. Activities: Free padel and tennis before 5 pm. Dining: The Tajin restaurant was nice.

The hotel is quite large and interconnected with other establishments, giving it a market-like atmosphere. Gym: The equipment is outdated, but it has everything you need. Pool: The pool area is very crowded. Room: The room is a bit small for three people.

I am very satisfied with my stay there. I truly enjoyed my stay and I would love to go back again sometime soon. The staff is helpful and friendly and they are always around to help. The hotel is big and clean and has nice facilities, and you can enjoy your time by doing different things. You can walk around the hotel and enjoy different landscapes. I wasn't bored at all. It has a big salty water pool, nice for people who want to enjoy sea water without the need to go to the open water sea. the beach is nice but rocky, and you can swim from the pier. Water is very clear there but deep). They have another fresh water pool, and an extra pool with two aqua slides and some water activities. The restaurants are nice, you can try different restaurants during your stay with different cuisines. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, and everything was working perfectly.

Awad the manager of the hotel and Mr. Sameh deputy manager they know how to solve any problem facing the guest in a professional way We would also like to thank Al the stuff specially mr.salah and Mr. Ahmed Abdel hafiz in the reception Mahmoud khater. Eslam sanad, Mohamed Salah, Nabil, Shaaban, Hassan in the main restaurant and Mr. Abdel bady the restaurant manager and special thanks to Chef Ahmed Khaled for the delicious bakeries Ahmed elsayed, bassiouni in pool bar both of them was so nice and welcoming to the guest Specially thanks to the life guards Abdel Monem the smiley man, hossny and Tarek And very special thanks to Chef Mahmoud badry in the beach restaurant for the very very delicious food as well as Mr. Ibrahim and Mr. Ahmed the bill men's for enduring our heavy luggage's in a very welcoming way We have enjoyed our stay in sands Albatros and definitely will come again and we recommend the hotel for whoever thinks of going to Marsa Alam in a vacation
