The ladies on the day shift working the receptionist desk were what made the hotel extra special, the lady in the dining room was working her butt off, and I could understand her shortness when I asked where the coffee bar was located as I was not told this when we originally checked in. The room door lock was giving us BIG problems shortly after checking in. At first the gentleman working the early evening shift at the reception desk believed that we may have held the key to close to something magnetic, which we did not do. After 4 times of being locked out of our room (when both keys failed to open the door), is when the male receptionist realized it wasn't the keys at all, but finally realized the key reading lock on the door needed some dire attention, which he informed us maintenance would check the lock issue first thing in the morning. Sadly, we were checking out that morning, however all in all, the hotel was very nice and was a bit more than I expected. Everyone was exceptionally nice, so YES, I would recommend this hotel to others.

Having to pay for breakfast... event a continental breakfast would be better than nothing, especially considering the cost of the hotel. Some small things can make a big difference.

Location of course to the airport, but the whole atmosphere was great. The check-in was smooth and the young lady that checked me in was very courteous and helpful. Also, the fellow that was at the desk when I checked out was helpful as well. Being from south Georgia I wasn't used to the snow, so he had to put up with my silly questions about what happens with schedules and stuff. I was just very comfortable at this hotel. The restaurant had excellent food! Dinner and breakfast. The walkway from the airport to the hotel was definitely a plus. I stepped outside to touch real snow and once that Maine wind hit me I quickly retreated back inside. The room was comfortable and warm and I slept peacefully. I didn't even hear any planes!

Honestly, I can't really think of anything that I didn't like. The hotel looked a little dated from the outside, but once inside the atmosphere just made it very appealing.

Breakfast, coffee/tea station available all day, location, wonderful staff, well kept grounds and very comfortable rooms.

Didn’t like the smell of the shampoo & cream rinse and towels were a little scratchy. (But that’s just being a little nit-picky). However, we were on ground floor and first night nobody was above us, but on 2nd night someone checked in and you could hear them walking around & talking. Would request 2nd floor next time.

We loved that it was attached to the airport with an early morning flight. Easy to drop off a rental car and walk to the hotel. Bed was really comfortable.

The bathroom sink and shower kept clogging. Maintenance came tot he room and said he fixed the sink but it still clogged. The staff were friendly but when we asked how much time we would need to get through security at a small airport and being this close. They just kept repeating the TSA of arriving 2 hours prior. They must be trained not to tell guest that it is a small and easy airport to get through.

The Bangor Aviator Hotel is the perfect place to stay to make an early morning flight. The hotel is modern, spacious. convenient, and an excellent value. Besides a great room, helpful staff, and a great restaurant, we could walk a short walk across the street to check in at the airport. A relaxing end to our road trip.

Location is a short walk from the airport. The rooms are very nice and equipped with a microwave and fridge.

There was no place to eat when I arrived at 9 PM. Frozen dinners were available for purchase at the front desk that could be heated up in the microwave. The breakfast was expensive and not very good.

Great location for late night arrival.

There was an extra $20.00 charged on my card. Did not realize until morning. Asked desk and she said it was taxes and fees, but showed her my confirmation price in which those were included. She deducted the charges. Price was already high enough!

Locating the check-in/customer service desk, when entering from the street, was difficult to find. Thankfully there was a customer in the lobby at that time who told us where to go.The size of the indoor pool was the size of a jacuzzi, which was very disappointing. Lastly, the parking for those that aren't traveling via the airport is frustrating and time consuming, Finding the correct parking lot that is for overnight guests was confusing. You have to get a ticket to get through the gate, go to the registration desk to have it redeemed every single time you return to the hotel. If you forget to do this then you are charged for the time you were parked at the exit gate.

The hotel was extremely convenient to the airport... right across a walkway! The room was nice, nothing extraordinary, but the location for catching a 6am flight couldn't have been better!

More expensive than I would have expected for a hotel of its calibre. The hotel was very "standard"... nothing much "extra", but definitely "fine".

The location was wonderfully convenient with direct access to the airport via a bridge. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Would definitely stay there again.
