The whole place seems relatively new and is very clean. They have used their small space efficiently. The room is cozy, clean, and easy to heat/cool. The wifi was great.

Other guests kept trying to open my door while I was in there which was a little freaky for a solo traveler. The fake potted plants take up a lot of floor and counter space in a already small space and they are the only thing that made the room look dirty because they are hard to dust. Since it is a small space, it might make more sense to get rid of some of the extras like the throw pillows, plants, large baskets, large lamps, etc.

The motel is in a beautiful location with water views and it appears to be recently updated. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Parking was free and easy. We were a late check in and they were able to accommodate and check in was easy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a table and chairs for eating.

The room and bathroom were small. There was hot water at night, but no hot water for a shower in the morning. The tv is streaming only, so remember to bring your passwords! I would’ve rated a 10 out of 10 if not for no hot shower.

The room was great! They gave us a record player at check in, loved it. The shower was hot. A cooler came with the room (which we used). The soap scents were great. The room decor was fantastic, absolutely loved it. It was very clean. They had nice soap, conditioner, and shampoo bottles mounted in the shower. The rooms were fairly quiet.

The shower head was so high and the shower was so small that if you are under 5'3 the water will spray only on the top of your head. I'm a hair under 6', and the water hit my collar bone.

what an amazing stay I had, the cabin was filled with so many lovey details. kitchen was fully equiped. everything was very clean. lovely staff at reception and they have a little shop with the essentials. and the best part is the record player in your room….choose a few out of hundreds records at reception and have your own little party. loved it so much, ordered the same record player for at home.

I loved everything, but of I could add one thing, it would be a light in the middle of the room. I like to draw in the evening, but for that the light was not strong enough. bit this is just a very personal request.

The room was on the small side, but very clean, quiet (despite being on Rt. 1), and did have a small table and two chairs. Good Internet connectivity. Nicely decorated. We didn't take advantage of the pool area, but it looked to be very nice.

Our particular room had a shower stall only (was aware that was the case before we booked), which was TOO small; near impossible for a woman to shave her legs while taking a shower. We stayed in a similar room, again, because the pricing on that particular day was more reasonable than anywhere else in Belfast, but wouldn't stay again in a room, at Seascape, with just a shower stall.

The motel room with shower was beautifully appointed with extras, such as a bathroom night light, a clock, a radio, a Igloo cooler, windows that could be opened for fresh air, soft linens on a comfortable bed, plenty of towels, washcloths, etc., glass glasses in the bathroom, a hairdryer, Q-tips, cotton balls washcloths for makeup removal and ALL impeccably clean! Traffic noise wasn't an issue at all. AC worked well.

Room rug at foot of bed wasn't secured to wooden floors and could present somewhat of a hazard. Would prefer bar soap and small containers of shampoo and conditioner rather than the dispensers on the shower wall, which took up room in what was a smallish shower stall.

Incredible stay. It is honestly my favorite place I have ever stayed. The bed was almost as comfy as my own with plenty of blankets. It was in an ideal location only 5-6 minutes from downtown Belfast. The room (cottage) was adorable with a record player and records to choose from. There was a guestbook too. SO cute. I will 100% be back here.

Absolutely nothing. Just note the pool is closed during the Fall/Winter as it’s cold. I was unaware of that but it makes sense

We liked the beautiful, brightly decorated rooms. We liked having a pool and hot tub on site and we were able to come back to and relax at the end of the day. The fire pit area was another great spot to gather after dark. Our studio cottage was well equipped and a small cooler was provided. The office ice machine had an abundance of ice, unlike some hotels we encountered on the road. We had a record player with big variety of records available at the office. We spent 3 days traveling from the Midwest to get to Seascape and we wished we could’ve stayed longer once we were there. For long distance travelers, the small freezer in our refrigerator came in so handy to refreeze our ice packs for the trip home. Nothing was lacking and everything we wanted was in place for our stay. Belfast ME, being close by was convenient for meals and shopping. It was worth the trip. A+

From the first text message the morning of check-in, everything was convenient. Because our flight was late, we were unable to physically check-in before 8pm, but Seascape remotely checked us in and provided the door code through text message. Once we got to our cottage we are able to directly enter with a lock pad and get settled in. No keys involved made checking in and out very simple. The owners were quick to respond to our text message request for a large pot (apparently they have a loaner pot for lobster boiling), and brought the pot to our door within 10 minutes. The owner was knowledgeable about activities we could do in the area, and tourist sites. The ice machine and big trash can by the main office was convenient for travel, as was the Igloo ice chest loaned to us during our stay. Every day we got fresh ice and filled our ice chest for use throughout our summer travels. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were close together and small, however there was a set place for all items and the convenience was immaculate. Thoughtful touches like a USB slot by the bedside, maps, and a toaster were all available, and the high quality soaps (dish and bathroom) were nice on the skin (Meyer brand). Grapefruit mint shampoo & conditioner were provided, and lavender body wash. The whole cottage felt extremely clean, and aired out nicely after we cooked. There were no big bugs around, so we could leave the door open after cooking breakfast. A small outdoor table with an umbrella allowed for a nice breakfast view of the beach across the street. There was also a nice picnic table and a bbq grill for our cottage that we were unable to use because of the rain. A small broom and dustpan in the closet provided a means to sweep out the day's dirt and gave the cottage a homey feeling. The cottage is definitely somewhere we wanted to sit around and enjoy.

There was no light above the shower, so we had to rely on the main bathroom light behind the curtain. It was more of a slight inconvenience for those of us with poor eyesight. There was a vent in the kitchen, but no vent in the bathroom. Of course, the air conditioning took care of the bathroom humidity quickly, but the toilet stinkies lingered for a little while. A few more hooks in the room would have been useful for hanging bags and jackets, since there were 3 of us sharing the room. So many pillows on the bed, we had to shove 6 of them into the closet and were left with 4 for each bed. Pretty display, but no room to put the extras!

Quiet, small and close to the town of Belfast. Has a pool and separate parking for your car next to your room. Elizabeth, innkeeper, charming, knowledgeable of the area, and very professional. Elizabeth knows hospitality and is refreshing, in a time of unfriendly people in the travel industry. I have a hospitality background and was so fortunate to have Elizabeth as my innkeeper. Bravo to Elizabeth doing a wonderful job.
