-location was good, easy to find. Skydome and train station within walking distance of about 10mins -inside of the building is nice -3 lifts that all work fast -staff were very polite and friendly - basic room is actually very large! - shower is lovely and gets to a good temperature - despite being next to the ring road, it was really quiet and nice Parking is easy and next to the hotel - charged £7 per night

-bed is on casters and was prone to moving about when getting in and out of bed - bed felt sunken in the middle so I you tend to end up pooled centrally. But saying that I still slept a full night pretty well!

Nice enough hotel, breakfast and staff were particularly nice. Fitness room quite basic but had a treadmill, rowing machine, and bike which was just enough to keep me slightly active on a 2-night stay. Room itself very clean, especially bathroom which was spotless.

Bed was quite hard (but pillows and duvet very comfortable). Corridor quite loud, woken a few times by doors slamming and what I assume was the HVAC system. Local area isn't the nicest - I opted not to eat in the hotel restaurant as was quite pricey, shops opposite were very basic and pouring rain meant I didn't walk to the retail park 10 minutes away.

Upon check in the staff were so friendly and welcoming, Easy to check in. I was in room 1204 a must just for the views alone offering a 360 view point and with clear skies you can see for miles. The room was large and had great personal touches such as the TV having my name on upon entering which I thought was a nice touch, nice large black out curtains and plenty of lights bright or dim depending on mood or setting. Everything I needed was within the room, the bed was comfy and the bathroom nice clean and large. I didn't have breakfast here but it did look good, I did however have some room service I went for the fish and chips and that was excellent. All the staff are so friendly and willing to help, I would come here again depending on the price of the rooms however I do feel for what I paid during this visit it was well worth it.

Just keep an eye on prices, they can get towards the expensive end however if you shop around you can come across some deals and if right the best rooms the suites are well worth the extra.

The hotel was in a good location within walking distance of the town centre. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. The reception and cleaning staff were friendly and polite.

The exterior of the hotel is very shabby and the area surrounding the hotel is very run down. Boarded up buildings, intoxicated persons walking around the street and we also had to drive around an old mattress dumped in the entrance to get into the car park. The bar staff were quite rude and the reception staff were quite slow at responding to issues such as loud music coming from a nearby room.

The staff are so friendly. Not just polite and smiling but genuinely warm and caring. I honestly have never come across such wonderful hotel staff in a UK hotel before. I had a change of plan the day before I arrived with how many of us there would be in our party. This was a bit tricky to sort out in the IT system but Zsolt found a way to make sure our needs were met. The restaurant staff are very friendly and kind, making conversation, checking if everything is OK and making you feel like nothing is a problem. The guy who sorted out the z bed in our room was friendly, polite and warm. It was almost unreal how everyone was although we found the same everywhere we went in Coventry so maybe its just a place where people are genuinely lovely. The restaurant has a very varied selection for dinner and the 3 nights we ate there the quality was great each time. A small detail but the fries with the burger was the best ever, the salmon was delightful and the lamb bhuna was authentic and tasted homecooked unlike in typical Indian restaurants. The gym is small but well maintained. The room was spacious, comfortable and good value. We will definitely be back!

Nothing could be better for the number of stars the hotel is.

Immaculate hotel. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Bar/restaurant very good. Room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom exceptional. Large TV. Hotel parking is adjacent and there is a decent number of takeaways opposite and restaurants close by if the hotel restaurant was not desired. Very close to city centre. Good value

Signage into the hotel could be better (we arrived just after it had got dark and so didn't see the small sign until we had practically passed it). TV was not working initially and we had to call maintenance out to fix it; relies on ethernet cable to work and this had been pulled out - would be so much easier if they provided a sheet telling guests which cable should be plugged in where as this would save unnecessary callouts

Facilities, the foyer, customer service, aesthetics of the interior and exterior were great. I was surprised at how plush the place was and it is up there as one of the top 4* restaurants I've stayed at and I got it for a good rate on the app. I liked the room service and how tasty and fresh the meat pizza was, like the complimentary biscuits and that the wardrobe contained everything you needed - iron, ironing board, kettle etc. Room was very clean - please keep up this standard! I wish I was able to stay longer to unwind more....2 nights wasn't enough! Last but not the least, really like the personalised greeting on the TV and the plethora of channels I could watch. Highly recommended - maybe next time I may consider adding breakfast on too to get the full experience! Thanks so much and keep it all up!!!

Some of the gym equipment were not working and the room itself is quite small 4 pieces of equipment but still did the job. Not aware of the extra table room service charge until it was brought to my room - extra £3.50 but still useful to know beforehand. A bottle of water to go with the biscuits for tea would have been nice!

Such a quick check in process. Staff were very efficient and helpful. I opted for this hotel because it also has parking available and wow it was so cheap! £6.50 for 24hours, such a bargain. I also booked breakfast for the next day which was £11 (if you book it the night before only). I would recommend doing this because it's a full English, good quality as well. Plenty to go round. There's also bread and spreads, with some continental options as well as cereal, along with refillable coffee and tea. The room was wonderful, very big and spacious! Bed was comfy and the bathroom was great, everything you needed.

Please fix the Aircon in room 1403! As soon as I walked into the room I could hear a clinking sound, and soon realised it came from the Aircon. I thought it would be fine and act as white noise but it kept me up most of the night. As I was on a high floor, the windows don't open, so I needed some form of airflow. But in the end, I opted for a sweaty night without Aircon so I could get some sleep. Another thing that I'm not sure can be helped is I got woken up a few times when drifting off as I could hear doors shutting and things being dropped, so rooms not so well soundproofed. I would add, please get just one switch to control the main lights.

Reception staff were so polite and helpful. Free Wi-fi was a bonus. The hotel has lovely decor, and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect location, really convenient. Breakfast had a lot of options. Nice to see fresh fruit, always welcomed by me. We ordered breakfast the night before for £10 which is really reasonable, and good value for money.

The room was stuffy and hot. The fan didn't provide any comfort, it just blew the hot air around. This impacted on me and my friends sleep. At breakfast, the queue for the toast was really long. There didn't seem to be a system for the rest of the buffet meaning it was difficult to get your breakfast. In addition, if you wanted to wait for something to be cooked, you ended up being in the way of other diners due to the cramp space. There were no vegetarian sausages. My cutlery was dirty, so I ended up changing it myself. Tea was luke warm and there was no butter!

Excellent location opposite the Albany theatre we were at the next day, great parking for the hotel, easy to find, lovely spacious suite, facilities spot on, staff super friendly and helpful

The only slight issue, we were warned around 10.20pm to keep the noise down in our suite, I find that a little early in the evening to be told this on a Saturday night, people book hotels knowing they’re not the only guests. I actually was up at 4am the next morning for an event anyway so my later sleeping time was fine by us chatting until 10.20pm! Staff super kind though just expected more from guests staying at a busy hotel
