Staff were kind and professional. Lots of choice for breakfast including British and continental options. No crowd, hot food options always available. Congratulations to the manager on his team (reception, cleaning, catering teams), best of luck in retaining them.

The hotel was located very central, at least to the sites that were of relevance to me. It was at the endstation of the red metro line, and with a short walking distance to green areas that were of interest. Most importantly though, is that people in the reception area were nice and friendly and serviceminded. The breakfast area was also worth the visit with the bright panels at the walls and the roof that made it look like the sun was shining outside, even if the room was placed to floors beneath the ground. The room itself was okay - nothing more, nothing less.

Well, as much as I liked the breakfast area, it should have been part of the initial payment. Mainly for budget reasons and reporting. Not a big thing. It was also an interesting way the coffee machine handling cards when purchasing. Select coffee to "wake up" the machine, present card into cardreader, specify cofee, select what card to use (1 or 2) on the keypad of the cardreader, write PIN ... well, something like that. I suggest a somewhat more usefriendly version in the future. Or just make the coffee free. That works even better!

The room was just like in the pictures - spacious, modern, comfortable. Cleaning done every day. Staff very friendly and helpful (we received very good indications on visiting some objectives we wanted to). We only had breakfast for one day, but it was quite good, except for the coffee (which is made of powder). Position is also good, very close to the metro with direct connection to the airport (red line, 20 minutes trip) and quite central also, close to parks, shops and with very many bakeries and restaurants close by.

The only negative aspect is the the phonic insulation, which is poor. you can hear everything from the hallway and even in the bathroom you can hear when the people upstairs are taking a shower. But it was not a big issue.

facility was clean, appropriate and welcoming. it has elevator which can fit a wheelchair and is relatively handicap friendly. Rooms are relatively quiet and great quality price.

there are excellent staffs and not so excellent staffs. The usual staffs are very welcoming and nice. The usual front desk was super helpful and friendly. The manager Portuguese lady, however, was quite mean in several occasions. I don’t know whether it’s because we are Asian or because my mom is using a wheelchair, but that is not the way you treat another human being. I hope that was just our impression or maybe she was having a tough week at home.

The interior may be a bit dated, but it had all the amenities - comfortable beds, a mini fridge, a kettle for tea, cups, welcome water. The air conditioning was very useful. There was a bidet in the bathroom. There was a metro stop right next to the hotel, very convenient to reach the centre and the old town in 10 minutes. The area where the hotel was located was lively, lots of small cafes and a small supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel was right next to a beautiful and large park with the Gulbenkian Museum, which is definitely worth a visit. The hotel's breakfast was standard, rather boring, but tasty coffee and always lots of fruit. At check-out there was the option to leave luggage until the flight, which was very convenient as the flight was at midnight. The hotel can be reached from the airport by metro I liked the hotel, especially the location. Everything was good!

The only thing bad about this hotel is the bar in the lounge is closed. Everything else was perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Hotel Alif Avenidas was exactly as pictured, very clean, staff were helpful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great being close to the metro making it easy to get around, but far enough away from the busy parts of Lisbon to be quiet and Peaceful. Everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel!

I thought I had breakfast included when I booked my stay but the concierge told me otherwise, I think it’s a bit confusing when booking as I had thought all rooms came with breakfast included but you need to select that as an option - something to be mindful of.

This is a lovely hotel. From the moment the door was opened for you, the reception staff, housekeeping and food staff - they were all friendly and very helpful. We loved that there was a kettle, water, fridge and tea cups in the room. the bed was huge and comfortable. We felt very at home here. We also had a lovely dinner at the italian restaurant over the road and drinks at the little bar in the park. It is a little out of the main tourist area but that this what we needed. A bit of quiet to just sit, relax and enjoy. Still a comfortable walk to the hop on off buses. Did the small bus trip through the old town - highly recomend it. Also I think there was a market on the saturday as we were leaving which looked amazing - ask reception about it they may be able to give you the details. It was just a lovely comfortable place to stay.

The hotel was fabulous. People at reception were very helpful and friendly. They help us with luggage , recommendations and everything that we need. Room and bed were made every morning. Bathroom was very well equipped. Also, very important thing luggage storage was very safe since our flight was late night, only stuff can access that room and we had whole day to explore the city without taking care for luggage. The location was great, metro station 3 min walk for the city and for the airport also.
