Location is very convenient, in a good neighbourhood and close to the park Eduardo VII. We tried the hotel restaurant one evening and the food and the service were excellent with a nice garden outside.

The wifi in my room was almost non existent and since I needed to do some work on my laptop, this was a big disappointment. The room we were given had very few windows and was dark, overlooking the backyard. The breakfast is situated in a basement with no windows. No eggs variety.

Real Palácio Hotel offers an excellent experience for families visiting Lisbon. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment for parents and children alike. While the overall stay was wonderful, the breakfast could be more diverse. Though the quality of food was good, the variety felt limited, especially for guests staying multiple days. Adding more international and kid-friendly options would make the dining experience even better.

A lovely hotel and very clean. The staff are amazing, especially the cleaning staff who are always happy and greet you with a smile. So nice to have a restaurant on site when travelling with a baby!

Their breakfast room is quite small and every morning you have to queue for 10-15 minutes. Not sure why they don't use a meeting room as queuing for breakfast at a 5 star hotel seems unheard of.

Everything was very good with the hotel facilities, staff service, and assistance except for two issues as detailed below at I didn't like heading.

Two issues frustrated me during my week-long stay at the Real Palacio hotel. They were as follows: 1. There was no WiFi reception in my room, #326. My complaint about it didn't change the situation during all week of my stay. 2. There was a queue for breakfast almost every morning. The dining room is too small for the number of guests, and no solution was exercised to avoid guests' line-ups during the whole week.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Real Palácio in Lisbon. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and attention to detail that made our experience unforgettable. The hotel's facilities are of excellent quality, with comfortable and well-appointed rooms, a relaxing spa, and impeccable amenities. The breakfast was especially plentiful and delicious, offering a wide variety of choices that catered to all tastes. I would like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Marta Sousa (Guest Relations Manager), for her remarkable efforts. Her thoughtful advice, professionalism, and the small touches made all the difference, making our stay truly exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Marta, Ms. Sílvia, Ms. Adília and the entire team for helping create such precious memories. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Lisbon!

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect!

I had an amazing experience at this splendid 5-star hotel near Eduardo VII Park and conveniently located close to the metro. The hotel offers all the top-notch services you’d expect: a luxurious spa, a fantastic restaurant, and a sports bar with delicious burgers and free broadcasts of major sports events. One of the highlights was the complimentary spa access, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hot tub and sauna were the perfect way to relax before checking out. The included breakfast was excellent and plentiful, featuring a great mix of continental options and local specialties. The pastel de nata were fresh and absolutely delightful! To top it all off, the price was incredibly reasonable for a 5-star experience. I am truly satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and value.

Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The gym was pretty tired. Equipment out of order, and really not fit for purpose. It would be better not to have it rather than advertise a fitness suite that is well past its sell by date. The restaurant serves good food but the vegetarian options were limited. The gnocchi dish was rather bland and the food on arrival was cold. Fish lovers need to be reminded that it is not the custom in Portugal to remove the fish bones. So a haddock dish leaves you concerned that you’re going to choke on a fish bone. No doubt if I had complained the cold dish of food would have been replaced. However one is not always comfortable highlighting a problem as it often can be misunderstood as looking for some kind of compensation.

Location was excellent, a few minutes walk to 2 metro stations, a number of bus lines stops, two large grocery stores and several cafes and restaurants. Within 15 to 30 minutes, with public transportation could be in most major tourist sites and neighborhoods. The breakfast had very good variety. The staff were always helpful. The gym was small but had dumbbells, aerobic machines, a multifunction weight machine and mats.

The card key constantly became deactivated. One day they neglected to clean our room and bring us the complementary bottle of water. The air conditioning never became cool enough. In the gym, the bike was out of order and the weight machine was old and clunky.

Everything good, value for money, great location, good rooms.I would definitely go back again. Minus- the room showed were very weak pressure. Reception- there was this young girl who probably thinks a bit too much in terms of self esteem, which I noticed in her attitude twice while I went for something. Once I am waiting for 15 minutes while she doesn’t end the conversation with another client who seems to get the full Lisbon history, transportation, weather and probably even about upcoming election with her. She dint have the courtesy to tell, sir pls wait give me 5 minutes nor the uncultured American tourist to understand there is someone waiting.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are the best I’ve ever met in any hotel I’ve stayed in. They were wonderful with our daughter and did everything to make our stay amazing. The location is also fantastic, right beside a metro station and the park is around the corner as well as a large shopping centre. We stayed 4 nights and were sorry to leave.

We did have a minor issue with ants in the room (mainly the bathroom) which the staff were really helpful in addressing but they did return. Additionally the hair dryer in the room did not work so would be better off bringing your own. Minor issues that wouldn’t prevent me staying again.
