Beautiful location, amazingly helpful staff. Very fast and reliable WiFi. A/C was solid. Close to the city and restaurants, yet tucked away and secluded. The on-site cats & dog were an amazing plus as we love animals. Restaurant offered good food at reasonable prices.

Our shower head kept falling off. Overall, kind of funny, but yeah. While the restaurant had good food at good prices, the hours of operation were all over the place. Breakfast often started late, and most nights we stayed, the restaurant closed early. Plenty of other options nearby, yet it was a challenge to know if they'd be open or not.

We had a very large room with a nice view of the beautiful pool art and jungle and the bathroom had a tub and double sinks, much less common for hotels in CR. The AC worked well. The property is deep and sits you well away from the noise of Jaco or the highway and it feels like you are in a jungle lodge. The included breakfast was tasty and the staff we encountered were very friendly.

The beds were quite a bit firmer than typical hotel beds but we still slept well. There were not many channels (7 on ours) on the TV and it was not easy to use. No option to change to English audio either. But there are lots of other things to do in Costa Rica other than watch TV!.

Good location, nice pool and okay breakfast. Generally good value for money.

Dirty sheets and outdated bathroom

DoceLunes is a real gem. We booked it for the the first two nights of our vacation and we could not have made a better choice for a start! We landed in San Jose at 20:00 but could easily check in at around 23:00 (night security colleague gave us the keys). It is a bit out of the city center, so you better have your own transportation, but there are also taxis around and they even have bicycles to use. The first positive impression was the smell of the many flowers; which are beautiful in daylight. Staff is extraordinarily helpful. Breakfast was from a choice of some options (not buffet), but it was adequate. Rooms and bathroom really spacy; comfortable, with good aircon (well positioned, not flowing the cold air on you), beds super comfortable, the room even had a small fridge, the toiletries of good quality (with conditioner, but no body lotion). The hotel garden is full of life: monkies (paying in the afternoon) and a lot of birds. The pool is so inviting, super warm and clean. There is a really great beach nearby (Playa Blanca / Punta Leona); one of the best on the south Pacific Coast (if you are not a surfer and would like to enjoy white sand and gentle waves). Easy access to different excursions (Crocodile Bridge, Jaco Street Art Tour) on your own or from the reception, many restaurants and shops in Jaco. Price - value ratio was excellent. I would return here any time!

Nothing, everything was perfect. The rooms' furniture is a little bit oldish, but absolutely OK, the whole place has a magical atmosphere.

The bathtub, the gardens, the large pool area allowed for privacy. The garden setting was gorgeous. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Above all, I’d like to mention wonderful KEISHA at reception. She called around to various pharmacies for us and helped us get an important medication—and even tried several to get the best price! She saved us $60 by doing this! Keisha was so patient while doing all this. She should teach a class!

The room lighting was horrible. No plugs next to bed (come on folks!), adult hours at the pool would be nice. On-site purified water would be nice rather than buying bottled water at the bar…and it’s time for a new mattress…all else was great.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area is lovely and a great place to relax after activities. Room was large and spacious. Breakfast was basic but nice. Dinners in the evening were really nice. It’s a 20 minute walk to the centre of Jaco. Everywhere seems to have barbed wire fencing but I never felt unsafe walking. Definitely would come back here if ever in Jaco.

The hotel matched expectations. The room was spacious at a fair price and very close to Jacó town. The beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The front gate closes all the time and we had to wait for half an hour to get in when we came back from a night out. The security guy explained that there was an escalation, hence he was absent at that time but overall this was not really a fun experience for us. Breakfast was very average.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The room was large, bathroom was large. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly. The parking lot was gated with a security man at the gate so you could come and go as you pleased. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food was good and not pricey at all.

Further away from the beach than expected but rented bikes into town which was fun. Located in a residential area away from amenities. Restaurant was only open for breakfast due to staff shortages but was able to order skip the dishes at the reception desk which worked out fine.

This is a beautiful property surrounded by lush gardens. Lots of songbirds, macaws and monkeys! The pool is large and lovely and is lit up for night swimming. The room and bathroom was big and nice looking. Lots of places to put your things. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The airport transportation they arranged was great. It’s a short taxi to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There is a small store just steps away.

food was ok, not great. The amount of fruit served with breakfast was a smaller portion than other places we stayed.
