Great location, and good value for money. Nice garden, kitchen / living area, and comfortable beds in the dormitory. The shelf and locker within the capsules was also thoughtfully designed. Staff were very kind - brought me tea and medicine when I was unwell. Bathroom and dorm room were also always very clean.

Not a criticism of the property at all, but it was annoying that other guests lacked consideration for their fellow travellers. In the dormitory, several of the men (travelling together) were amongst the loudest I’ve ever encountered! Taking phone calls at 1.30am, phones constantly pinging, watching videos without headphones, loud conversations when others are obviously sleeping. This is of course a risk in dormitories. Perhaps some house rules displayed on a sign might encourage guests to use their manners - something for the guesthouse to consider for the future.

We stayed there 3 days in sept. 2024 and were very satisfied. Photos (Internet) and reality match. Room was clean an fresh, quiet in the night. The Hostel is super ckean, especially the kitchen. Nice place to relax and meet other traveler. Staff is always present and very helpful and friendly. We needed a taxi to the airport at 03 50 am. The staff woke us up, called the taxi per yandex app and told us the price. Restaurants and supermarket nearby, When you are traveling a lot you can see after 2 Minutes wether a hostel is good or not. And this hostel is a very good one. We would even give 11 points.

The private room is very big, lights are great and there is a fridge. Hot water with great pressure. Towels, soaps and toothbrushes provided. In addition, they give you clean flip flops to be used inside the hostel (no shoes allowed) and that really keeps the spaces clean. The flip flops are washed after every guest checks out! There are two ladies that spend almost the whole day in the hostel cleaning and washing. We stayed for 4 days and every day they asked us if we wanted the room cleaned (with new fresh towels and new bedsheets). You can wash your clothes by paying 100 som per cycle. The kitchen is free to use. Great wifi. The owner is super helpful and available for any question. There are some benches outside where you can chill. Very quiet area.

Depending on who stays at the hostel, you might find dirty or sticky pans and cutlery, which you have to wash yourself before using. The shower plate is installed horizontally, with no incline, so the water has difficulty to drain and tends to stay.

We had a private room with attached bath. It was spacious enough for us and two backpacks + 2 bags. The bathroom was clean and the shower was strong and warm. AC in room was working very well. The bedding was clean and plenty. The owners are very helpful. Check in was easy. They helped us out with our laundry which was 100som. They accommodated us very quickly when plans changed and we had to stay a second time. Fast and concise replies on WhatsApp. Note they have more rooms than listed on the site, so contact them even if it appears sold out.

Cash payment at time of check in but ended up being not too much of a problem.

Pretty central location. Nice people in the hostel, didn´t see the owner or any of the people managing the hostel during my stay there. Clean space but noisy in the morning as they are expanding the hostel.

The mattresses in the dorms are covered in some plastic making rustling noises every time you move which makes it really difficult to be silent and not disturb others. Only one toilet/shower for 8 beds. Have to be very careful not to get scalded in the shower as the handle position between warm and hell is hair fine. Difficult to find for all Yandex drivers as Google Maps shows the location at a different street.

I had a fantastic stay at Abs hostel/hotel/guest house. . I chose the private room, which was a luxury after 3 weeks riding the Pamir, crisp clean bedding and room, comfortable bed . Nice hot shower, a smart tv with Internet if that's your thing, great WiFi. Free tea and coffee in a very clean modern communal kitchen. A great location a short walk from shops and cafes. The owner was super friendly and helped me massively in arranging a box to package my bicycle for the return flight and arrange the airport transfer. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the whole place was kept spotlessly clean. Our room was a very good size with excellent lighting, air conditioning, TV, table etc. The guest kitchen was well equipped and was the cleanest we had ever seen on all our travels. Everything worked well and we would definitely recommend staying at this property. Thank you all for a great stay.

Stayed for 10 days. **Pros:** 1. Thoughtful amenities provided: - Deodorant and perfume available in both the bedroom and bathroom. - Personal slippers provided and washed daily. - Water purifier with a filter machine installed. - Small plants add a touch of nature. - Coffee and tea provided. - Fast and reliable Wi-Fi. 2. Impeccable cleanliness: - Mrs. C**** checks the kitchen, bathroom, and living room from 7-8 am daily. - Two maids ensure thorough cleaning throughout the day. - Bed sheets and blankets are frequently changed without prompting. - Surprising attention to detail, including cleaning the inside of the fridge. 3. Tranquil location: - Situated in a quiet area with nearby police and military offices. - Feel secure with a 6 am run, encountering police and military personnel daily.

Nothing, some peoples are... but "no way"

The woman running the guesthouse was fantastic. Very welcoming and helpful. The beds in the dorms are great, very comfortable, good storage and lots of privacy. Good location.

My stay at the hostel was unfortunately ruined both nights by roommates who didn't have even the most basic hostel etiquette. Making lots of noise at night, letting their alarm ring on and on (I had to get up the second morning at 5am to turn someone's alarm off) and then taking loud phonecalls in the early hours. Though this isn't the hostel's fault it seems this is a recurring issue having seen reviews. Maybe it is worth printing out some rules in the dorm rooms and explaining upon arrival. I've never seen this sort of behaviour elsewhere in 50+ hostels.

Excellent location near to main amenities and walking distance to sights. Very quiet. Decent sized room with towel, soap, shampoo and toothbrush. Shower with hot water throughout. Free tea and coffee In the kitchen and use of a washing machine (100 som per use). The owner/manager was very kind and helpful, available on WhatsApp at any time and he even helped organise me an airport transfer. Would definitely stay again without hesitation.
