The property itself is amazing, a small village (i.e., "borgo") in the Umbria region. Very nice rooms, and shared spaces, with a lot of attention to details and furnitures. I especially liked the homemade soap, the breakfast area and the breakfast itselfs with also gluten free products. Amazing staff as well. Definitely coming back for the summer.

Nothing really. Just a suggestion: I appreciate the nice pitcher of water, intead of plastic bottle, but mine was missing the tap. Probably an oversight, but if not I would suggest providing a pitcher with a tap, it just feels more hygienic to me.

If you want a secluded and quiet getaway, this is the place. The accommodations were fantastic, comfortable and clean. They had a fantastic restaurant on site for all meals if wanted to be there for lunch and dinner they were able to accommodate that and you need to take advantage of dinner because the food was fantastic and the service and staff top notch. The facility was so beautiful out in the hills of Umbria.

This property is a 500 year old farm made new.really lovely. Staff great.

We are an older couple but safety is for everyone. There was no bannister on stair up to our room. If you slip there is nothing to hold on to on a tile and concrete staircase. The bathroom had a step down about 6 inches which was the same color throughout the floor. I stepped off several times. Should be marked with a contrasting color at least.

Borgo Castello Panicaglia definitely sets the benchmark for other gorgeous amenities. The property itself has a great vibe features by an original design. Mouth-watering breakfast and meal are served. Placed in a picturesque location surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Thoughtful and attentive staff. It ticks all the right boxes! Everything was great and nice. It was one of my best place to stay. No need to go out as everything is in the hotel. The breakfast was free and it was very great. you can have lunch and dinner at the location with very reasonable prices and the food was very very very nice as we enjoyed all receips and even the appetizers were super delicious. Safe place and different facilitis for kids to enjoy their stay. Our kids were having freedom to move alone within the hotel. The staff were very supportive and they even took care of our kids food when they went to have breakfast by their own selves. Umbria itself was very beatiful place and unfortunately not well known as Tuscany however it is not less than Tuscany at all and generally cheaper. In the summer, you can enjoy food outside enjoying the super refreshing environment. This is well recommended place to stay for at least two days. I would like to thank all the staff for their kindness and support and forbthe nice food and coffee as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Beautifully restored in 2019 with comfortable and so stylish interiors and poolside. Kind and thoughtful service. Wonderful breakfasts and meals. Super value. We are planning a return trip!

Absolutely nothing

The best hospitality and food we had in Italy, and I've been to Italy more than 15 times; all the people from Panicaglia were genuinely kind and super friendly with us. We've been with a 2-year-old, and they made us feel at home. Also, they were super helpful after we left too, as we forgot something at the castle and they took care to send them 200km distance. I will definitely come back!

Our bathroom was super small and the only one in a 70m apartment. Also, I was thinking we'll get a room with a swing, but I think that's available in only one room.

The location was amazing and the staff made it very special. The food and the wine made it even more special. The room we stayed in was one of the smaller ones but was still large and very beautiful. An absolute place I want to visit again.

Great location, excellent staff and comfortable rooms.

No info on arrival re: breakfast, lunch or dinner times. We also had issues with water pressure and, at times, no water or no hot water. On telling the staff, we were told the low pressure/no water was due to external works - but again, it would’ve been very helpful to be told of this from the outset.

Amazing architecture and design. Well decorated and excellent quality overall. Friendly staff and amazing views. Very clean and organized. Nice selection of wines and excellent breakfast buffet. Definitely wanting to come back!!

The dinner, although good, could be done simpler with better taste (considering it is kids friendly also).
