Beautiful setting. Tranquil. Great food

Not a negative but good to be aware it was 7 KM up a twisty road in very poor condition - but passable. Sun beds need replacing! All broken

A little peace of heaven in the mountains - we loved the peaceful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the no kids rule, and how the whole place is made for peaceful retreats. The restaurant was exquisite and so was their wine. At all times we felt welcome and taken care of. The pool was a much appreciated bonus.

The road IS difficult for people not used to the area. Many holes, steep passages, several areas where the asphalt is destroyed. A small car can manage the trip, but we recommend doing it in daylight and dry conditions.

Charming house lost in the valley. Great spot if you are seeking a quiet place, with a pool with amazing view. The room was spacious and clean. Great service with very nice staff/host. Option to lunch/dine on site, delicious food - we had the best pasta of our trip there.

Could benefit from adding a fan in the rooms, as it gets warm at night Difficult roads to access (note that we made it with a small car), but that what makes the site unique and price to pay for the amazing view

Beautiful property on the mountains of Umbria with great views, lots of nature, a nice swimming pool and outstanding food! They also produce their own wine and beer. It was a lovely retreat and we would love to return with more time. A very relaxing place!

While it certainly wasn't a problem for us, it's worth mentioning that it does take driving on dirt roads for a few km to get to the property. Nothing too crazy. The way can be a bit tricky, especially after dark, but, if you allow, they'll track your location and help you get there.

The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals absolutely delicious and a little different. Because I didn't research properly and the location is very remote, we took a treacherous road to get there. Our mistake! Having found the better road the next day, travel was far easier. One has a real feeling of being in a rural location with lovely views of hills from the pool and terrace over 'ginestra' and wild flowers. A spectacular nearly full moon, rose over the mountains and the setting of the pool was lovely. The owners and staff charming.

I would have liked a wider choice of wines.

Riccardo and Alessia, as well as the other staff, were so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommend unplugging and relaxing here for a few days. The location was peaceful and high up in the hills - you do need a car to get around. The pool was lovely, if a bit cold! The room we stayed in was large and comfy. The food was yummy. And the wines/beers delicious. Having a freshly made lunch of caprese and melon and parma ham accompanied by a cold glass of wine in the garden every day was just fab!

Alicia’s food was amazing! Local ingredients and organic veg all beautifully cooked for all x3 nights of our stay! And Alicia also prepared beautiful salad lunches for us.

Unfortunately our room was directly above the outside eating area and kitchen so we were kept awake until late each night with noise. It was also a very hot period and with no a/c or fan in the room, and not being able to keep the window open at night……it as difficult to sleep.

The property is in a beautiful setting. The restaurant was excellent offering delicious meals. Staff was devoted to making us feel comfortable. The pool was very clean and the water was cool and refreshing.

The room did not have air conditioning. We had a fan and that was sufficient with the current temperatures.

Extraordinary hosts with passion for what they're doing. From breakfast to dinner and champagne flutes in between - everything was delicious and there's nothing I could complain about. Definitely a recommendation!

Only tiny suggestion for improvement: you'll receive a description for the way to the house which is accurate (of course) BUT - the second path upwards to the house which they want you to avoid also has a sign "V 26" quite similar to the one you should notice which is only "26" without the segregation through roman numerals. Maybe a stupid mistake put down to ourselves, but definitely one you should have in mind, as the road we took was really uncomfortable and (almost) impossible with a van.

Beautiful property with excellent views. Has all of the necessities, fantastic food, and the family owners are the kindest people! The wine is also delicious, we bought 4 bottles!

Nothing negative to say, we had a great experience. When arriving, try and get there earlier. We tried arriving at night and missed the sign that leads us to the property.
