Spacious room with tatami mats. The owner and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen was equipped with anything you need. Location was within walking distance to the beach and local sites. There was a small bike to borrow if needed. We enjoyed sharing meals with other guests.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this guesthouse. The room and futons were comfortable, and everything was impeccably clean. The owner is incredibly kind and always willing to help if needed. It’s not a luxury stay, but it’s very clean, and the value for money is excellent.

Very nice owner and staff! He gave us a ride down the coast road to Udo Jingo shrine, a beautiful location for the sunrise and to the train station. A welcoming and comfortable house with other guests from around the world. Amazing beaches within a few minutes walk.

The host is friendly and considerate, and also provides many special facilities to enjoy. In addition to the washing machine and barbecue pit, there is also a shared work space in the campervan, which is comfortable and freehand. In addition, the room was very comfortable and clean, and I spent three days and two nights having a wonderful time.

The host is a super nice person, friendly, and considerate. He suggested good places in Aoshima, and he gave us a couple of rides to the centre, although it was only a 15-minute walk from the station. Morning coffee with the ocean view on our way to the station was something. 😃 We enjoyed our stay a lot, and we'll definitely come back.

Owner was very helpful. Staff was super friendly. Loved the traditional tatami rooms and access to outside from the room. Super laid back vibe. I had free use of the bike to ride to the beach every day.

It was all fine, it is a simple accomodation it is not luxury but it worthed the price.

Accommodation and facilities are very simple

The owner and the staff are friendly and helpful. Initially, I booked a big room for 5 adults. Upon checking in then we realised that the room we booked was not able to house all 5 of us, more like a family room for parents and young kids. Also, the shower and bathroom are shared with the rest of the other guests, which is not what we had expected. (We are clearly disappointed) So after some discussion and deliberation, the owner was kind enough to let us use 2 rooms instead of 1 without topping up. I think that's the way to do business. If not for that, I would have rated the place unworthy for the amount spent.

Shared toilets and bathroom. The kitchen is functional but not very clean. Beds n covers smell like abit unpleasant. (Overall need to watch the hygiene abit). The rest is OK. Just don't expect hotel standards.
