This was a very nice property, new & clean. The spa is the main attraction certainly… the rooms are nice, clean and spacious if you get an upgrade.

In my opinion the service is sub standard. Maybe it’s just French and those are the customs but the staff was rude and not helpful. They also rushed us out of the breakfast room both mornings which was odd. Also, the spa is closed on Sundays…. like most everything else in Rennes. Do not plan a trip to Rennes over the weekend thinking you will have lots to see and do. Bathroom is extremely small and mine was basically in my room because 2/3 people in my party got upgraded but I did not.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had free use of the swimming pool and Jacuzzi and sauna for an hour each day. The parking facilities were excellent with a lift which took your car down to the basement, and even a turntable to help you get out. The room was bright and clean and well equipped.

To use the free Wi-Fi, you had to keep reconnecting and putting in the log-in and password every time you turned off your phone. The swimming pool etc was open 9am-11pm. I think 7am-9pm would have been better. I would have enjoyed an early morning swim.

Best location. Very easy few minutes walk to train station so ideal base for catching bus from metro for day trip to Mont St Michel ( make sure you advance purchase your bus ticket as our bus was completely full with no capacity for anyone without a pre- purchased ticket!) or catching short train trip to St Malo. Lovely hotel with a comfortable lounge area for an end of day glass of wine. Beautiful clean room and terrific pool for relaxing after a big day of touring. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Everything was perfect

Excellent location. Short walking distance from the Rennes train station, from which one can take day trips by train to explore Brittany. The property is clean and the rooms modern.

The room’s desk lamp did not work throughout our stay. The hair dryer was difficult to use as it was designed to activate by squeezing the handle vice flipping a switch.

The room was very clean and spacious, the staff were always helpful and courteous, and they helped us to find restaurants and sites to visit. Very polite and understanding. Amazing hotel and will go again for sure for the third time.

There was a race when we arrived and restricted access but the hotel contacted us to advise us what to do to avoid the restricted access to the hotel.

Loved the hospitality, the cleanliness of the room and common areas, and of course the spa/swimming pool! We were able to book time slots for our daily spa session (as they have a cap on people per timeslot), so we sometimes got the entire spa/pool to ourselves. We loved every part of our stay. And the staff were so kind and helpful. The location is also superb as it's only a few minutes walk away from the main train station. And only 15min walk to the city centre.

We stayed there night on our way to Mont St. Michels. We arrived late and left in a morning so we didn't have to try their spa facility. It's 5 min walk from train station. A room is small but comfort and has everything you needed. Staffs were friendly.

We got a room on street side (same street we walked from train station), it was quite at night. But in early morning you can hear everything from street, such as people taking or dragging their luggage, car driving.

Nice, clean, new hotel. The staff was very pleasant. The location is a few blocks walk from where the historic area begins. It was fairly easy to arrive by car. (It is quite near the train station.)

I had to park a couple of blocks away. Everything is very new and the finishes are generally high quality plastic. So, it is all very nice and modern today (August 2022). It will be important for the owners to keep up with replacements, as plastic generally doesn't age very well.

SPA + Reception+ Bar Area

Bathroom in the bedroom. While lit the other personn cannot sleep as it is not separated from the bed area. I someone's takes a shower you are not able to rest. Air conditionning not working needed to open the window but there were noise in the street nearly all night people shouting (Saturday night). Receptionnist told me that they would have changed my room but clearly in the middle of the night with my daughter sleeping I do not see the point. The furniture in the bedroom need refurbishing.

excellent city centre location, but quiet. helpful staff and tasteful decor

my constant gripe - nowhere to rest your sponge bag in the bathroom etc the floor! There was space to put it right under the basin once you had finished with it, but not while you were using it. So many hotels miss this absolutely basic necessity!
