Great location, nice rooms, great staff and it all in a lovely place!

the breakfast was poor, very few options and the croissant didn't taste fresh. If you stay in this property, stay away from the breakfast. Except from that, lovely!

The staff especially made us feel welcome. They were always available and recommended great places to eat like Le Dome for my birthday. Fabienne even made the reservation for us!

There’s was nothing we didn’t like. It was perfect.

This hotel is perfectly "French" and rare. "Lydia" greeted us and made us feel so welcome after a long international flight, and every time she was on the desk during our comings and goings. Other staff (Fabienne and Fannie) were also very kind and helpful. Location: excellent. Decor: quintessential Parisienne. This was a return stay and not disappointed, will return.

Absolutely nothing, we loved it all!

Hotel Luxembourg, directly across from the Luxembourg gardens, is a small boutique hotel in St Germain, Paris. The hotel is charmingly old world Paris, with beautiful decor. The rooms are delightfully decorated with Parisian fabrics and antique furniture and rugs. The room was quite large for Paris and the bathroom, all glorious white marble, was very large. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, they made great recommendations for restaurants, one being directly across the street. The location of the hotel was spot on, walkable to many sights. Fifteen minute walk to Bon Marche and an easy 30 minute walk to D'Orsay Museum. Great boutique shopping and restaurants in the area. A continental breakfast was offered at the hotel for a reasonable cost. There was a courtyard for summertime and a nice bar in the lobby for drinks. The staff arranged a driver/van for us to the airport, which was exceptional!

Such a classically beautiful and charming hotel in the most peaceful and strategic location — facing the Luxembourg gardens a few minutes from the Medici fountain, ever so close to Saint Sulpuce and Saint Germain des Pres. I enjoyed my park-facing room (#17) on the first floor (2nd for Americans) and loved the spaciousness of it, particularly the double vanity and bathtub. I also loved the windows in the room that allowed for fresh airflow and morning birdsong. The room itself had many pieces of original artwork and prints, and was so comfortable and quiet. Staff are very helpful and Fanny in particular provided kind guidance and warm hospitality, making this feel very much like a home! If you love antiques, a reading room, and a serene location, this is a winner for you. The team stored my luggage and allowed me to use the gym and salon facilities after checking out which was a big help! Many thanks :) A gentle note: In the morning if someone slams their door you can hear it, perhaps it is fair to put a cushion in the frame to reduce door slamming. I was woken up a few times by repetitive closing slams nearby.

Location/ Clean

The experience with the staff was quite ambiguous. While the lady at the check-in was wonderful (she even offered to help me carry my luggage) and the young man at the reception was always polite and accommodating, the check-out left a grain of salt in my overall experience: the lady had quite a rude attitude: usually when you leave a hotel, you expect the person who processes your check out, to ask if all went well and if you enjoyed your stay. This lady rather seemed to be glad I finally left. It’s a pity if the staff is not trained for a consistent behavior towards customers. I do travel a lot and this is the first time I experience such an attitude.

The hotel is in a good location within walking distance to restaurants, the metro, and sightseeing. The staff are exceptional and able to help with any requests, including making dinner reservations. This is a boutique hotel with lovely furnishings and a nice atmosphere. We felt very safe walking in this area even late at night after dinner. A/C and elevator as well.

The room is quite small but this is likely typical of a hotel in Paris. The beds weren’t overly comfortable as they were pretty hard compared to other accommodations during our two weeks in Northern France/Loire Valley.

Staff is truly personable. My park-facing room was super comfy, with a great king bed, small but serviceable, opulent bathroom, classy furniture, a really good breakfast, a very safe and fairly quiet neighborhood, with bakeries, restaurants and fast food nearby. Extremely convenient for visiting the Catholic Institute. Melvin, who makes and personally delivers your breakfast to your room, is a treat! Not my first stay at this hotel, and definitely not my last.

I wish there were a deadbolt on the door.

The location of the hotel is in great proximity to the bus, the metro, restaurants, cafes, and museums. We were able to walk everywhere or take a short bus ride/metro ride to other further places. Aside from location, the front desk staff were phenomenal! The younger lady with short hair and glasses was very friendly and recommended a few cafes for us to try. She was also very excellent at giving walking directions. The evening staff was an older gentleman who also helped us get a taxi and provided us with great conversation. The Filipino gentleman from the breakfast area was so friendly and extremely accommodating. These staff members really made our first time trip to Paris, a very enjoyable and memorable trip. This was definitely an unforgettable experience for us.

The king bed was basically two full sized beds pushed together. I love to sleep in the middle of the bed while my husband sleeps closer to the edge hahaha. With two full sized beds, I kept falling into the middle ditch because the beds would start to slide apart as I tossed and turned throughout the night.
