Location. Clean. Nice little Jim. Card access to anything feels safe.

Parking: you can try to reserve parking only after you pay for the room, and than you get a message that they have no available parking place. The "club" is useless for a one-night guest. It is supposed to offer free snacks and drinks during "the day", an "aperitif" in the evening, and snacks ang cold and hot drinks after that. No hours are given in the facilities booklet. Checking in late afternoon we had a short walk in the surroundings, only to find out that after 20:00 we can get coffee, tea, and fruit juices (only tomatoes, apples and mango were available). Snacks at this hour included 2 kinds of sweet and 2 kinds if salty cookies, sponge cake and some salty peanuts that you get in pubs, which could be nice with bear.

This hotel is in a great location. It is less than a block from the chateau of the dukes de bretagne, walking distance to the train station, near the city tram line and around the corner from a series of plazas with restaurants and shops. It also has a quiet "club" room for breakfasts or snacks later in the day. Around the corner, we found the Arno Boulangerie which was excellent.

The air conditioning in our room did not work and with the window open there was street noise. This led to a hot night. We were moved to an adjacent room the next day, but discovered that the air conditioning in that room was also not working. At our request, the receptionist made an adjustment to our bill for the inconvenience. The room is small but adequate for 2 people. The glass enclosed bathroom, a slightly elevated corner of the room, may make the room seem larger, but it took some getting used to. Toilet and sink were obscured by patterned glass and reached by walking through the shower area.

If you're planning to stay in the center of this little gem of a city, look no further. I can't imagine a better location. The pedestrian zone starts literally around the corner, and in the opposite direction, the castle and the cathedral are a block away, and a few minutes on you'll be in their lovely botanical garden. We drove in - a straight shot coming from the north, no turns, right to the hotel's doorstep. They have their own underground parking (for a few cars, so book early), but then you can forget about the car. The room is modern with a genius design that optimizes space and light. There is a lounge area where you can get complimentary coffee and hang out, if you want. A novel concept for hotels, and one I probably would be using during a multi-day stay. I know, nothing is perfect, but this stay came so close that I can't think of a nit to pick...

We only stayed one night but found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and very conveniently located. Staff were helpful and always available. We didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment about that. There are many coffee shops and bakeries nearby so we didn't feel the need to take the breakfast at the hotel. We parked in the garage nearby -- beware that the spaces are very small in the garage and will be a tight fit for even a medium sized car. I am not sure if the parking offered by the hotel is better.

It's not a big issue but I did find the design of the bathroom to be a bit strange. It has glass walls that are covered by blinds that are only partially closed. So from a certain angle you can see directly into the bathroom from the rest of the room. I find it to be an odd design choice but maybe that is the design trend these days.

I have mixed feelings about it. The hotel looks new and has a very modern design, which is good and bad. The room was very clean and comfortable, and despite facing the main road, it was quiet.

Now the not so good bits. The design is very modern but wrong on many levels. - to get to the toilet you need to go through the shower so make sure you're not wearing socks -the bathroom screen is made out of wooden slats tilted downward. The problem is when you're on the toilet you can see the person un bed, and vice versa. So you better be comfortable with doing your business in front of the other person.

Very nice hotel at a great location in the city center and a lot of restaurants nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was good (some clever solutions to make the most out of limited space) and the airconditioning worked well. Good breakfast. In the afternoon you could get some complementary drinks and snacks in the lounge.

The bathroom is a little bit weird. You have to go through the shower to get to the toilet and sink. After taking a shower you get wet feet if you have to go to the toilet.

Excellent breakfast ...lots of healthy, fresh options. The club room is brilliant ... We really appreciated being able to grab a little drink and a snack when we had been out sightseeing for hours. The early evening appetisers were a nice touch, too.

Absolutely nothing ... This hotel is spot on .. I have stayed here 3 times and the things which the hotel has changed (such as fewer toiletries) for environmental reasons are appreciated. The move to linen bedding is brilliant (so cool) .. But I can imagine some people might find the creased appearance a bit strange ... I loved everything.

we had the larger room available, but it is very small. no place to unpack, no drawers, no option to hang long dresses or trousers. Bathroom very small and dark. Not enough light at all for make up. excellent hotel for one night when unpacking is not required. would not recommend for longer stays

The location was perfect. The hotel was in the city center but still, it was quiet in the room. The club where the breakfast was served was good for hanging out after breakfast. The room was clean and big enough.

The entrance of the bathroom was through the shower, which was odd for me. The breakfast was really good, but it did not worth 19 euros.

Helpful staff and very good level of English spoken. Room was very modern. Large bed good seat and desk space. Lighting very good. Free bottles of water provided and a TV with English channels. Access to coffee M/c downstairs is free all day with some snacks provided as well. Drinks are generally very good. Secure parking under the hotel for our motorbike. The A/C and WiFi worked well.

The bathroom although very trendy/modern is more form over function as you have to step through the shower zone in order to get to the toilet and sink. Privicy may be a concern for some as well as it's only cloaked by slats. The mirror over the sink is positioned to one side so shaving is not straightforward as looking head on. Breakfast scrambled eggs are served cold? And you had to wear plastic gloves to serve yourself. Slats/ bathroom design needs to be dusted better.
