This hotel is nice, very clean, and close to the airport. We were there on a weekend and the neighborhood was very quiet. There is an Aldi within walking distance and a park as well. There are two bus stops in between the airport and this hotel on a dedicated bus road, so getting to the hotel is very easy. Swipe your credit or debit card when you enter the bus and again when you exit. Each rider will need a different card. The convenience and cleanliness of this hotel makes it a great place to stay for transiting at Schilpol.

The property is 10 mins walking from Hoofddorp train station. The reception staff was very helpful. In fact as it was spring, they even helped me plan my itinerary day-wise considering the unpredictable climate. Stay was very comfortable, room were vert clean and hospitality was fantastic. Clean rooms, Amazing hospitality, convenience of location, helpful staff all were a perfect combination to the most memorable days we spent at Amsterdam.

A bit of quick advice. The frequency of direct trains from Hoofddorp to Amsterdam central is every 30 mins if its a weekday, but on weekends it may get a bit tricky and you might have to take a combination of train, metro and bus on the weekends, so plan accordingly. Also, the footpath from train station to the hotel is cobbled, so dragging your heavy luggage bag becomes a bit difficult, thus make sure you have smaller luggage bags for convenience. Otherwise the property is fantastic !

We were upgraded to an Executive Room because it happened to be free, so we had a great view. It was a 2 min walk from the train station, which took us to the city centre in 20 mins. It was only 5 mins away from the airport. Although we didn't use it, there is a shuttle bus from airport to hotel and back every 30 mins. The bed was super-comfortable and a good size. There was a cute little chaise long in the room. The hotel was beautiful with an excellent lobby. They have a small basic coffee machine in room. Very nice and quiet- no noise from outside or other guests could be heard in the room. Decent air con.

Restaurant shuts at night and there is nowhere local to get food from late at night. They just have a small self-service shop with some expensive snacks. The bathroom doors leave a gap when closed, so you never have true privacy in bathroom- not great when you're sharing. Only enough coffee, milk etc. for one cup each. The only difference between executive rooms and standard is that the executive room is on the top floor and has a better view.

I liked that the room is bigger than the average size of a hotel room. The hotel has two tv's that are very good, have two places for everyone and can help us by a lot. The area is good because it is close to the airport terminal. the room was clean and well maintained. we stayed at suite room anyway.

The ice machine was dirty and I was unsure if it was safe. The hotel makes us unsure if there are complimentary treats and drinks. The staff that gave our keycard did not served us well. The ice machine also had a glass that I am not sure if it is clean or not.

The location is fantastic near the airport but a good enough distance to have some quiet time away from the airport traffic and noise. It is a walk away from the Hordroft train and bus station, making it accessible to Amsterdam 24/7. I love the how clean and green environment friendly of the hotel, but the number one bonus is the attentive staff and housekeeping. The two Filipino staff members taught us how to get to the train station and use public transportation around the hotel. This information helped us navigate our trip to Amsterdam. There is also a convenience store inside that sells snacks, candies, and drinks for the guests to use, and it is reasonably priced. I highly recommend this hotel. The service is up and beyond, the hotel is clean, and the location is convenient.

I have to rate the other hotels on our trip way below standard because Novotel can not be compared.

The hotel is very well located, just one train stop away from the airport. When we arrived, we were given a free upgrade to a superior room with a complimentary minibar. After the long journey we had, this was a lovely touch that made us feel very welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful and cosy, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. The breakfast was excellent, and even as vegans, we had plenty of options to choose from. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel!

The staff was excellent, I had never booked with Novotel before having always been a IHG member but after checking in I immediately join the group and will always stay in a Novotel hotel from not on. I had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The staff were great and very helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and impeccably clean, equipped with great amenities. I appreciated the soundproofing, which ensured a peaceful stay. A lovely touch was the mini fridge in the room,, perfect for keeping snacks and drinks. The hotel's location was just a three minutes walk from both the metro and bus station. The Hoofdorpp Center is about 15-20 minutes walk or 8 minute bus ride.

The facilities were impeccable, the room was clean and I loved the fact that there was a coffee maker in the room with all its implements. The attention of the staff was very friendly and attentive to every detail.

The only problem we had was with the air conditioning that was not cooling, but despite the late arrival the girl at the front desk at that time helped us and changed our room in a matter of minutes because there were indeed problems with the air in that room. So thank you very much for the quick resolution.

Very nice - very clean- air worked good - nothing to complain about. I had a single bed room reserved and texted ahead making sure my room would have working air due to health issues. They respond not to worry. When I arrive I was upgraded for free to a room with a double bed and 2 single beds. I was given a room that sleeps 4. Staff was very nice and when I went back down to make sure they didn’t make a mistake- they said no mistake it was on them.
