Great location in the heart of Chinatown. The room is small but it has more than enough facilities and space for 3 persons. Bed was very comfy.

The sound coming from TV projector's fan was very noisy. Shower drain was clogged. Even though the hotel banned durian inside lobby and rooms, it doesn't work because the hotel is located right above a durian stall so the smell still came from the outside. We love durian and have no problems about it, but we need to tell about it for anyone who can't stand the smell.

located in the heart of China town - please don’t stay here and complain about the noise!! not that we found it an issue at all. very clean with modern appliances. nice helpful staff. we loved being able to open the window and shutters and listen/watch the night thunder storms and people during the day. shower was amazing and loved the ionised glass that with a flick of a switch was privacy. I suggest placing a towel over the front on the cutest little fridge to stop the bright light at night and it helps it stay cooler too.

we did have some hot water issues which required very quick showering - but maybe that’s Singapore saving water

Location was great, very close to Chinatown metro station, room was small but had all the essentials, bed was super comfy! Wi-Fi was good.

The ground floor of the property is a different business and was quite messy unfortunately so doesn’t give the greatest first impression- once you’re in the hotel though it’s very nice.

Location, cost, and comfort of stay. Really accessible and about 5 mins walk from the Chinatown MRT and hawker food right around the corner. The bed and pillows were soft, and the air conditioning was excellent.

The hot water wasn’t enough for 2 people to take a shower beyond 10 mins each, there was a considerable amount of dust in corners, and there wasn’t a bidet to wash at the toilet bowl. We had to use the shower head- which could work, but the tube wasn’t long enough. The main thing that got us was the sound proofing. We could hear the garbage collector at 2 am and the hawker start business at 7 am.

March 2024

This was the second time we stayed here, and both times were very good. To note, I stayed with two family members and we booked a triple room for a 5-night stay. This had a queen-sized futon and a single-sized futon which was clean and comfortable for sleeping but not enough floor space for large pieces of luggage. The room itself was well lit and nicely ventilated, which was great during March. The bathroom was enclosed in atomized glass, which you can control using a switch in the entrance aisle for privacy. There is no bidet for the toilet, but paper towels were available. The shower was decent-- it can only heat up a certain amount of water at a time so if you're the type to take long showers (>15 mins), you may run out of hot water. They also provide a set of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel dispensers. The room also includes an overhead projector (which we never figured out how to use Screencast or the internet browser on, so we just watched whatever was on the available channels) and a small drink fridge. One more thing that was nice is that they gave free bottled water each time the room was cleaned. We were also allowed to borrow umbrellas from the lounge as needed. The location of the hotel is fantastic since it's a few meters away from Chinatown station (NE4|DT19) and a few minutes away from Maxwell station (TE18). It's within walking distance of the Chinatown Complex Food Centre and the Maxwell Food Centre, both of which have amazing food and drink selections. I recommend having the fresh iced soy milk drink! There's plenty of great souvenir shops lining the streets around the hotel so you can get some quick shopping done. There's two 7-11's within 5 minutes of each other in the area as well. The hotel is only accessible via an elevator from the ground floor.

There was a bit of trouble with the drain one time where the water was not going down so we had to open up the drain lid to get the water out. It was fixed by the next morning we requested for a room cleaning.

Really well located in Chinatown. Staff was super excellent in answering our questions and providing advice or guidance on where to go. Room was very cool with a projector as a nice touch. The bathrooms have these cool "invisible" mirrors that can be turned on and off in case you need to keep an eye on the room while you're in there. Room was a bit small but it's Singapore so you should be spending the majority of your time exploring. We had an issue with the fridge and maintenance and staff were extremely accommodating in getting it sorted out

No issues. Had a great stay in a very accessible part of town.

Friendly staff, good location in the heart of Chinatown and a few steps away from the metro. Very lively area. The room was essential but functional. Very comfortable beds and good use of a small space thanks to a smart modern design. Overall a good stay.

Very noisy as expected since it's located on temple street. I always use earplugs, so it wasn't a problem for me. At times unpleasant smell from the toilet, but not excessive. The hot water in the shower doesn't last long.

The location is superb - right in the middle of Chinatown, a couple of minutes from the Chinatown MRT station. There a plenty of places to eat within walking distance (Maxwell Centre, various restaurants in Chinatown), it is very close to Buddha Tooth Temple. Noise was not an issue, unlike I read in other reviews. The room had everything you need, including a kettle and tea and a very small desk. I would stay there again.

The room was a bit small - but it did not bother us at all, as we only stayed two nights. The bathroom could use some renovation soon.

The toilet glass can change the mode from transparent to opaque. There are many lights to choose from but if you want a lamp light for sleep, don't have one. Either you sleep with a bright light somehwere or total darkness.

1. Projector screen instead of TV. ok cool, but the language was Chinese. even my Chinese friends don't know how to change the language settings after meddling with it for many hours. The receptionist asked us to watch normal channels instead. OK can, but nothing to watch. Channel 5 all that for what...? Fox movies also don't have. 2. The walls were fake, never mind about that. But the noise from down the corridor can be heard as though someone was running in your own room. People were moving into their rooms and made so much noise from knocking and stomping too loudly. The cleaning staffs were too loud. And they were already drilling at 10 am...... 3. Maybe it's just a coincidence I have to go through all that but if you need a good night's sleep, this is not the place.

A perfect place to stay for a night or two (the rooms are very tiny), in the heart of Chinatown which makes it great and easy to explore the surroundings or enjoy the neighborhood. Well connected with MRT. Very nice staff.

The rooms are very small and dark (no windows). The bathroom and toilet are right inside the room, so it offers no privacy if you share the room with someone. You can hear absolutely everything that’s going on in the accommodation (guests talking, snoring or screaming in the night, as well as the cleaning ladies talking loud since early morning).
