Beautiful location friendly staff food was excellent xmas decorations fab...

Nothing to dislike only wish I had spent more time there .

Staff at all points were excellent; check-in, dinner, bartenders, cleaners. Very nice setting, the grounds and hotel itself is lovely and a bit special. Breakfast was top class - great selection of menu items, tasty, and fast service. Very little to dislike. Nespresso coffee machine, Dyson hair dryer in room, and Elemis toiletries are all extra little luxuries. Lots of local jams and treats to buy too.

Being really picky to find a negative, the cocktail bar only had 1 staff member working, so as all the drinks are signature they take time to make, so service here was a little slow, but drinks were fab though.

When we arrived at reception ,we were met by Catherine who checked us in ,Catherine was very welcoming ,and arranged to have our bags delivered to our room , We went to the leasure centre ,and jacuzzi ,it was so calm and relaxing ,spotlessly clean and plenty of fresh white towels to be.had. Our room was beautifully decorated ,it had a coffee machine and a choice of teas ,chocolates also ,it was very clean also. We had supper in the restaurant ,we had the vegan menu ,plenty of choice and was delicious as the breakfast was the following morning , We have been to faithleg many times ,and looking forward to our next visit ,many thanks to all the wonderful staff ,mary & Noel .

Walk in shower, great staff, lovely breakfast, dinner and golf course. Our second room and bathroom were perfect.

When we arrived there was a raucous wedding for 140 people. They overwhelmed the public areas and totally spoilt the ambience of the hotel. On arrival, it felt like a two star holiday camp. The noise from music went on until 1.30 am and disturbed our sleep completely. The bathroom in our first room was from the 1970s, cramped shower, cheap shower screen, difficult access over the bath, very awkward safe. The bed was very firm to hard. When we arranged a different room, away from the wedding noise, it was quiet with a better bathroom and safe.

My trips to Faithleg Hotel have become somewhat of a ritual this year after I came to know about this beautiful gem. My most recent stay was amazing. The staff bring a homely feel to the hotel with the flow of conversation so effortless with guests. They are genuinely friendly staff, with a sense of humour that adds to the character of the place. The food is an experience in itself, cooked to perfection with staff at hand to talk you through the different course giving great stories about all the delicacies.

Everything was perfect.

The rooms were really good with a beautiful view of the Golf Course. The food in the bar and restaurant was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was particularly good with lots of choice and was served to the table which was excellent. The Spa staff were also very good and in particular Isabel deserves a mention as she was extremely professional and friendly.

The pool was very small with two swimming lanes cordoned off which meant that only two people could swim at any one time and the smaller area tended to be occupied by family groups every time we tried to go for a swim. The Jacuzzi pool was really nice but was packed with people every time we went down for a bit of relaxation. One particular lady on reception was frosty and unfriendly both at check in and when checking out. She would benefit from a course in "dealing with people skills"!

The Faithlegg Hotel was exceptional! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was extremely large with chocolates and shortbread biscuits a lovely surprise. The bathroom had a free standing bath and Elemis facial products. The gardens are beautiful and hosts an 18 hole golf course. Dinner was amazing, cannot speak more highly of Faithlegg Hotel. Breakfast too was included and it didn’t disappoint.

The floor boards under the carpet were a bit squeaky but due to the age of Faithlegg it just added character to the beautiful building.

Lovely hotel, set in a golf course, near Waterford. We stayed one night, having taken the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare, on our way to the Cork Jazz Festival and doing some of the Wild Atlantic Way. We had a nice cocktail and dinner in the hotel - the food and service was excellent. The following morning we had a very pleasant breakfast, again with great service. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a nice bathroom.

The service at the bar in the evening was a bit slow - they seemed to be short staffed, with a lot of people attending a halloween party. We were not able to order a cocktail at our table but had to order at the bar and carry the drinks through to another room, where we could find a table.

It is a WOW as you come down the drive & see the hotel & grounds. Staff (Donatis & Katherine) at check-in were very helpful & pleasant. The room was a good size & with a comfy large double and pleasant garden view, a large shower & a bath. We ate in the Red Cedar Lounge/Golf Club 3 times..2 evening meals & a late lunch on the balcony before leaving - very good food (especially the Korean Chicken Salad & the Thai Curry) & lovely friendly staff. Breakfast is A la Carte & delicious...good choice available with fresh juices, breads, jams as well as hot food - including pancakes & eggs benedict. Evening meal in The Alyward Restaurant was very good...the duck main was lovely & the Creme Brulee & Chocolate Gnash were divine. Staff in both restaurants & on the bar are excellent. Relaxing drinks after our meal in the beautifully decorated 1783 Cocktail Lounge. There are nice areas to sit outside at the front of the hotel & have a complimentary ice-cream, or enjoy a beverage of your choosing & watch the golfers tee off. The golf course is really good & enjoyable to play, It is very well maintained, there are some strategic shorter holes on the front 9 & tricky greens throughout.

some Americans gave the staff & restaurant food a right slating which was unfair as the restaurant was very busy & they also ordered food not on the menu!

Appreciate plant based menues available at all restaurants. Very clean room! Loved the additional Elemis products in the room, bath salts, pillow spray, eye gel, and lip balm as well as fresh shortbread biscuits. Though this was in an upgraded room. Not sure basic rooms have that. We've stayed in upgraded rooms in other hotels and rarely get this level of products.

Wish they had informed us of the restaurant at the golf club. Were pushed to make reservations because the two restaurants were booking up quickly. The golf club was empty while the two hotel restaurants were packed. Very limited plant based breakfast options.
