We like Mount Grace and have been frequent visitors over many years and through many management changes. The staff are excellent..They are friendly and fast and efficient. The facilities are good..and the location is beautiful but there is a serious problem with management and maintenance. I like booking one of the suites. It is quite pricey but it comes with privacy and a fireplace and a private pool and incredible bird life. BUT on a previous visit we had to call maintenance to fix the fridge and the fireplace before we could settle down and relax. This time I phoned ahead and asked that they must make sure everything is in working order. So it is really astounding to arrive at a our room to find us unable to open any of the doors onto the verandah to enjoy the beautiful views and birdlife that is the reason we booked this. Again we had to call maintenance and a team arrived and forced the broken doors open. Later we had to phone them again to close the doors. So there literally is maintenance people in and out of our room for 20 minutes each time.. and then we were told that we either had to move or refrain from opening the doors again.. It is beyond ridiculous and I never heard from management. Even though I asked and was reassured that they are made aware of the situation. . Not an apology or a reduction in a price for a room that really did not deliver. It is just not ok.

My 9 year old loved the pool, the bed the buffet dinner and breakfast, and the food in general. I enjoyed the spa, food, pool, environment and privacy to relax also the tea in the rooms

Carpet in our room was dirty and my son with asthma was struggling at night. Change flooring Tv with old channels and only 1 kiddies channel Kiddies are we were told the remites for Playstation didn't have batteries. That was strange cis batteries are not expensive. People pdrunk , Lou and playing music on Saturday afternoon at the pool, that was a nuisance Not knowing there are lots lots of cats, they were always at our balcony and my son is allergic, so that was not nice

We have been visiting Mount Grace regularly over the last couple of years, and it's always a favourite. The breakfasts are superb, with a great variety of options. The staff is also absolutely amazing, super friendly, and always available to help. The Spa is always a highlight. The pricing is very reasonable, and the therapists are all excellent. I have not ever been disappointed with any of the therapies booked at the Spa.

The top pool at the Spa did not have its jets running, so the water was not as warm as I had hoped, but this is the first time we have ever experienced this. In my opinion, the dinner and room service options could be refined.

We arrived just as check-in had opened, so there were a few people ahead of us. We were welcomed and offered a glass of sparkling wine while we waited. Once checked-in, we were assisted with our luggage to our room via golf cart. The room smelled fresh and was clean, with super soft towels which were crisp white! The room had everything that we needed, even the things we didn't know we needed. We received the most romantic turn down service at sundown, which included rose petals and chocolates- the house keeping service was always on time and kept our room looking clean. We did not utilise the spa facilities. However, breakfast was good. There was a great variety from cold to warm foods, sweet to savoury and it included a glass of sparkling wine which made for a refreshing mimosa. We took a walk on one of the hiking trails, with a mountaintop view, a map was provided to ensure we wouldn't get lost. The hotel grounds, including both cold and warm pools were emacculately kept. Overall wonderful stay. We look forward to returning in the near future.

We did not have dinner in the restuarant, however, we ordered room service on our first night. The dinner menu did not have alot of variety - no steak or any dinner dishes, mainly salads, most of the menu options were best suited for a lunch menu. We ordered a sort of tapas platter, not only was it not good value for money in terms of quantity but it was not tastey as well. We resorted to going out for dinner the next night.

The Spa experience, location and staff were excellent. we thoroughly enjoyed the facilities.

The room, a superior king, was a disappointment. It had an unpleasant smell of sewage that seem to have spread throughout the unit. The bed, although comfortable, felt damp and unaired. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling , shower cubicle and around basin. On departure the receptionist was advised, no apology was given, we were advised that a note would be made.

I liked the serenity, peace and beauty of the place with lush garden and vegetation, I also liked the attitude of the staff members, very helpful and on hand always, including the golf cart operators who were quick to come around except just once on my last morning...the beautiful and clean room and big comfortable bed and other furniture as well as as the wonderful breakfasts are also worth a mention. I came to the hotel for the first time some 25 years ago and I felt the calming effect of the place once again.

I didn't like that the TV in my room didn't work throughout the duration of my stay and though the maintenance staff told me it was storm affected I noticed that many guests also experience this problem over time, so I suggest in the near future switch to smart TVs so that we can just operate them on our own with good Wi-Fi only required. I had a bit of Wi-Fi challenge on my first day but the maintenance guys gave me a solution in a short time that sorted the problem the Wi-Fi was having, so overall I had a good retreat.

As nature lovers, this place was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the delicious food and relaxing spa facilities to the stunning scenery, the experience was peaceful and calming—exactly what we needed. Every day felt like Valentine’s Day for us, thanks to the thoughtful touches like table setups with red roses and the beautifully prepared bedroom. A special thanks to Shoki, Rose, and Lydia for taking such great care of us during our stay. You made our experience unforgettable!

I was disappointed that room service was unavailable due to the storm. This made it challenging to communicate and request a golf cart. I hope this feedback helps improve service continuity during unforeseen circumstances.

Everything about the place is amazing..from the scenery to the service..the spa ..the food..everything is just on point

Everything was good, my favorite was the Spa , the food was so good my friend and I even asked to meet the chef at the spa cafe who came to meet us and was so full of grace. I forgot the name now but she was so kind ad her food tasted amazing, she is the best. The staff at the spa really shows the definition of excellence, everyone from reception, therapists and the waiters at the cafe. Check-in process so swift and makes you feel like they were looking forward to see you come in. Well done to the lady that helped with the checkin. The cart drivers are so helpful , you don't wait for long after requesting a lift and they are so quick and friendly. The restaurant staff also amazing, we had dinner at the Rambling Vine and the gentlemen (I forgot his name as well )who served us was so amazing and paid attention to every detail. Overall , incredible experience!!

The carpet in the room had a funny smell.

The Spa is absolutely beautiful, don't miss their beautiful floatation pool, outdoor jacuzzi and infinity pool. Breakfast was lovely, the welcome glass of bubbly made it feel extra special. The private pool in the suite options make this a very special space for getaways and the view of the hills and nature feels like a true getaway hidden gem.

The restaurant was out of a few food and wine options, service was very slow and some dishes were great (Lamb shank highly recommended) some very average (lamb chops, prawn starter). Room service was probably the better option for this one.
