The property was in an awesome loaction. I was close to everything in the Columbia area. The staff was AWESOME! Especially K, she above and beyond whenever had an issue. My air conditioning unit was not working and she immediately came to my room to investigate. She offered another room and I informed her that I would change rooms the next day. She always had a smile on her face and always willing to help or assist.

My air conditioning unit in room 311 did not work. My shower was slow to drain. The outside of the property has bad curb appeal. The building could use a paint job. The furniture in the rooms were dated and worn with minor damage to the walls.

Daytime staff member LaTrell(?) is fantastic! Helped with initial booking by phone and more when we arrived...

We arranged a 4 a.m. arrival.. I called from on the road at 3;45 a.m. and advised we would be 45-50 minutes late. The person said "I have to make my report at 5 am and if you are not here I will have to report you as a no-show." This was a little disconcerting, as we are older (71) and did not want to speed to get there, but it sounded like we would lose our room. Someone needs some phone training... BTW, we are no longer living in Hong Kong, but now Kentucky...

The staff was friendly. They were able to accommodate our early check in request. The breakfast was great!! Everyone seemed friendly and willing to help!!

We stayed on the first floor, right next to the storage closet. The smell was a little weird, but other than that, it was great!! I didn't like that they started the washing machine at 7AM- right next to our room.

Excellent value for the price. Comfortable beds, nice clean rooms(just need a little updating), internet worked well. Good coffee and my son liked the breakfast. Pool looked good but we didn’t get to use it this time (passing through on road trip) Friendly and helpful staff

Not very quiet. Could just have been our room on 1st floor. We had an adjoining room and could hear our neighbors quite well next door. Also heard lots of footsteps over us on upper floor and noise in hallway. We weren’t “bothered”, just watching movies and tuning it out. I’m a sound sleeper and it stopped early enough that we could sleep, so it was no issue. But it could be an issue for someone else.

The hotel and the rooms were very clean. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel.💖💖💖

The hotel manager was very rude and unpleasant. She was not inviting or very pleasant to the visitors' guests of the hotel. In all the years of me, traveling to different hotels. This manager was the worst that I have ever encountered. The hotel manager never smiled. She never gave us eye contact. She was a bad representative for the hotel. Being an African American sister. I would have thought she would have been a little more pleasant. I understand that sometimes people may be having a bad day or going through something. But through my life journey? I have learned to leave that attitude outside the door when you walk into your job. I would recommend for the hotel manager to get some customer service coaching when dealing with the public.🤗🤗 Thank you, Mrs.& Mr. Hickman

I love the cleanliness of the establishment and the courtesy of the staff. It's a dip somewhere on the 2nd floor hallway that could be fixed, but overall my family love this hotel. My recommended stay everytime we visit this area!!

The 2nd floor has a dip in the hallway floor between rooms 216-224. Fix that, thank you! I will be very observant to see if my recommendation was really read and looked that!! Toodles😍🥰😘

We had the Jacuzzi suite and there's really not much else to say. How can you go wrong with a Jacuzzi suite for the price they're asking? Not to mention good wifi, tasty breakfast in the mornings, and housekeeping doesn't bug you unless you want them to. Location is also SUPER convenient. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

There was actually nothing I didn't like.

Convenient to I-77. Room was clean and well appointed. Coffee available in lobby 24 hours. Abundant restaurants and gas stations in area. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious.

Plastic shield still installed at check-in desk, so difficult to communicate. Fire alarm went off at 4:00 AM, and no one knew how to shut it off. We never did find the ice machine, and people were busy with the fire alarm, so no one to ask. Check in clerk asked my wife if she was a guest when we were looking around the hotel less than an hour after we checked in, and it was not busy at the time. Some wooden furniture in room was scuffed that needs attention to detail to stay nice.

It was during hurricane Helena and we never lost power.

Everytime I've stayed there I never got my deposit back. As a matter of fact 1 time they didn't enev have a record of me staying ther and I know I dis cuz it was a jacuzzi suite and it had bugs in it and they moved me to the 1st floor but never got my deposit back so I don't think I'm gonna stay there again for that reason alone.

It was more than I expected for the price. I was traveling alone and felt safe, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The absolute first thing I do when checking a room is pull out the corners of the bedsheets to check for bed bugs. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was extremely clean.

They could use more lighting outside.
