Beautiful hotel in a great location with excellent breakfast and nice comfy beds. The room was very clean.
Extremely loud music from the live events on the rooftop bar. The bar is great and the music is excellent however be aware if you need to sleep before 12:30 it's impossible when the events take place.

Modern room. Pretty good breakfast, but only used twice out of 4 nights. Some staff where excellent, especially with organizing a trio on the balloons. Wait staff where real hit and miss. Easy walk to the Zocalo.
We already knew the live music can be really loud... so just be aware. The room would have been great if had AC.

WOW, Domingo Santo exceeded my expectations! As someone who travels in Mexico often I was so impressed by the style, cleanliness, service, and location of the hotel. Giovanni, the hotel manager, and everyone on his team were incredibly helpful and kind. The food in the restaurant was an amazing perk since it was authentic Mexican food with a fine dining experience and amazing cocktails. Free full breakfast on the weekends was also a major bonus. If you love Mexico, this place gives you an authentic upscale feel within walking distance to all of the centro Historico main attractions without being in the center of chaos (I was traveling during Dia De Los Muertos and friends in other hotels couldn’t get back to their rooms at one point).
Mexico always has plumbing issues and so there was a bit of odor from the shower drain but nothing too concerning. There is also noise from the busy road and music upstairs in the restaurant but everything seemed to quiet down by 10pm

Very nice boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Our room was large and looked onto the main Plaza which was beautiful. The room had everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is great (note that it takes a VERY long time to get hot water, so plan to switch on the water on at least 5-10 minutes before you take your shower so it has time to heat up) and the high ceilings made the room very spacious and airy. Delicious breakfast on the rooftop.
2 things which will be useful for others to know: - There is a rooftop bar/restaurant and most nights a band plays live music there. The music was great and we really enjoyed it, but our room was right below and we could hear the music almost as loud as if we were upstairs. They stopped playing around 11pm when we were there so we were able to sleep ok, but that's definitely something to be aware of if you want more peace and quiet. - We had booked the room with a terrace/balcony. However, it's not actually a space you can hang out at let alone sit at. It's essentially the window that opens out onto the square which has a small landing - you can barely stand there. It's still nice but definitely not what we expected.

If you want to stay in the historic (old town) then this hotel is in the best location, make sure you book a room on the 1st floor with a terrace, the room was big bright and very comfortable, the only things that was a bit weird was the glass shower in the room, but that's just me. All the historic destinations are within walking distance, we felt very safe in most areas.
When we first arrived the put us in a room on the ground floor, which I did not book when we asked they told us the hotel was fully book, but we could move the next day, for which the hotel staff did move all our belongings whilst we were out enjoying the city. The restaurant does have very loud music on the weekends, but we slept just fine.

I had previously stayed in this hotel a couple of years back. It did not disappoint. The staff was gracious, kind and helpful. Everyone would greet us cordially at any given occasion. The food was extraordinary! The breakfast was quite delicious but the meals for lunch and dinner were to die for. Kuddos to the kitchen crew who prepared magnificent dishes. The hotel is located in the historic city center. Walking distance to plenty restaurants, bars, museums, zócalo, Alameda central, Plaza Garibaldi.
Nothing really. The manager Giovanni made sure all our needs and expectations were met. I'm certainly staying here on my next visit to Mexico.

Wonderfull location and terrace.with amazing view. High quality of breakfast. Very beautiful room and very big. Very clean and the cleaning ladies were very kind.
Be aware that in the night there might be some noise coming from their terrace because the music is very loud and also that some rooms don't have windows or have window directly in the square in the ground floor. The staff of the reception was not very kind as we had to negotiate a lot for having a room with a window.

very spacious rooms, carefully renovated historical building in central location, bathroom and toilet upstairs in gallery, breakfast on terrace with nice view, friendly and helpful staff
room on ground floor level are hot as there are no windows to open, noisy air condition available and also a bit less noisy roof ventilator, no breakfast before 9am

Hotel is located closer with the Centro area as Plaza de Zocalo, Templo mayor etc. We could just walk to get our interested places. this is a first advantage for us. Front reception worker was very kindness with her smile and spaces of hotel was clean and bright, it may look renovated inside spaces recently.
Breakfast is available later than another hotel. normally most of hotel begin to service breakfast from 5:00am or 6:00am, but this Domingo Santo hotel begins from 7:00am. Because of we had an early schedule in the morning, we could not have a breakfast of hotel.

The rooftop is amazing They have free breakfast for guests staying in the hotel, and its really good. Loved the suit with the balcony with the view of the domingo santo plaza. The staff is super friendly.! :)
They have bands and events every now and then at the rooftop (roughly til 2 am, and the music is quite load). If you are light sleeper, this might be a problem The bathrooms are open and kind of the same room as your bedroom. So you really have no privacy when travelling with someone. I didn't particular liked the area and in particular during the night it might get a bit shady. If I would go again, I'd probably would go la Roma o Juarez.
